Had a membership for 2 months and had no problem super fast but I canceled it because I had moved and it wasnt convenient anymore to me. After cancelling I had gotten texts saying it was trying to charge my credit card but no transactions posted. After 2 weeks of canceling my car wash they charged my card again and it went through. I went in and they told me that the manager will call me but never did, I waited 5 days for them to refund me and they never did. I went back in and finally spoke to a manager Kevin and it was the worst customer service ever, he told me they would not refund me because I had never cancelled it which was there employees fault and I haven't washed my car in 2 weeks. Horrible customer service and they will be loosing tons of customers when the 3 new car washes are complete in Morgan hill and Gilroy. The first guy was intimidated and dropped back all the while the new guy kept shouting at me. I felt threatened and rolled my window up! This went on for about 2 minutes. Prices: Basic $12 Wash $19.95 Deluxe $29.92 Ultimate $34.95 I was given some tokens for the vacuum and it sucked at sucking. There was no power at all with the vacuum. I used 4 tokens, which each is 3 minutes long. Took that long just to attempt to vacuum my vehicle, which my home vacuum using the hose works ten times better. Must need cleaning out. I got in line to get the $12 wash, they rinse the front and send you through the wash but then they send the next car about 3 feet behind you. So when you get to the dryer, you can not actually dry your vehicle because the car behind you would hit you. Ridiculous that you cant even drive slowly through the dryer so you can get dry. Every single vehicle had to stop and hand towel dry their vehicle. I find this ridiculous because if you go to the Shell station off of Travel Par Circle, the cost is $6 for an express wash. This washes your car and you slowly drive through to fully dry your vehicle. You get a clean, spot free wash for half of the price. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I've about had it with this place. The customer service has always been acceptable, I mean, what else can the guy tell you when you roll up and pay, but the quality has gone waaaaay downhill. I've been going here on and off since they opened for a quick clean. Even did their multi-wash cards before hey went to a monthly subscription. But lately, you come out of the machine asking yourself if it even washed your car. This is the 2nd time in 3 months that I've experienced this, and no more. As for the wash, it's ok; I had the monthly membership for the ultimate (best) wash for about 3 years. Although it sufficiently cleaned my car, the drying was lacking and I always wound up with drop marks. Also, sometimes I was given the basic wash and not the ultimate, but I think they give out different membership cards now that specify which wash you pay for to minimize that mistake from happening. As for customer service, it's been excellent. The staff working outside always interact with customers with a smile. For the few times that there was a problem (membership info was input incorrectly, online membership cancellation didn't go through), I spoke with Kevin each time and he remediated everything without hesitation. Overall, I give 5 stars for customer service but 3 for the wash process, therefore resulting in an overall rating of 4 stars. A few commercial grade vacuums right before u enter at 3 min for 1$ I was able to vacuum the front carpeting and trunk mat in the three minutes w a bit of time to spare so it's def still cheaper than the 1.50 at most gas stations that doesn't have the best nozzles. Entering the wash is usually really quick and the guys out front handle the pre-scrub. Unfortunately, that makes it incredibly hard to tip them so, if u want to thank them, have that cash handy. This isnt a hand wash car wash at all, you get your car squirted down before you roll through a wash that does a decent job for what it is. It's not overly expensive so that is certainly a bonus, However when I went through there was still brake dust on my rims and some spots still on my windows, which would have had to be worked pretty hard to get them off, perhaps it was some sap. If you have a super fancy car and you're looking to get it detailed and super clean then this probably isn't the place for, however if you're daily driver is looking a little worse for wear and you'd rather not spend the time to wash it yourself, then stop on in and get a pretty decent wash for a really good price. I am a very loyal customer of this car wash but lately I've been let down. I never know what my car will look like after a wash. Yesterday I took my wife's car there and the basic was was pretty good. There were 2 guys at the beginning of the wash and they sprayed down the entire front and both sides. Overall that was alright even though they were pretty busy. This morning (Sunday) I was there at 9:00 am and there was no one in front or behind me when I paid. But there was only one attendant to take the cash and wash. He sprayed my left front tire and wiped across my windshield with one swipe. So when I get home I had to wash the front end hood entirely. I came there couple time talked to one employee and he seem to be ok stated he leave a note for the manager to call me. I usually wash my own car, but every once in a while I'm in a time crunch and take it to this place which is less than a mile from my place. The wash itself is not too bad. I usually get the $7 wash because I'm not 100% sure if all the extra waxes and polishes make a difference. They say it's spot free and it does get rid of the dirt, but it leaves a number of water spots which can dry and streak. I'd give the wash a 85/100. What really grinds my gears is the location. It's conveniently located next to a massive dirt lot. On windy days (like when I took it in today), dust was flying all over the lot and I had to very cleverly drive my way out to avoid getting dusted. Prices are fair and the wash is satisfactory! The person took off and I found out through the police that this has happened several times. Apparently the belts are not working right and throwing cars into other cars. So when the all the dead bugs were not eliminated, my feelings weren't hurt; When those little yellow dots which I think are birdie droppings are still there, I don't go back for a refund. Just hit the drive through, they'll come collect payment, then give a pre-scrub before you drive through. The dryer function isn't really effective but you can't go wrong for the price. I've used this place a few times and the service is not very good. Mostly unsupervised employees who can careless about service. When they first opened they used to scrub the wheels, brush windshields with spray bug remover prior to wash. They are inconsistent each time. I also think the wash seems to go too fast as after wash I end up going home and wash portions by hand. Not worth the $12.00! I went in on March 31st to get a quick wash. Everything was normal, paid my $12 and went through the wash. As my car was going through the dryer I heard a loud pop and did not think anything of it. I thought it may have been their equipment. I drive out and went to the gas station on the same street and noticed that one of the trim panels on my car was completely broken! I drove straight back and asked to speak to the manager to fill out a claim form or something to document the damage caused to my vehicle. I was told by the "manager" that their was no form and he began to ask questions regarding the age of my car and stated that my car was in poor repair and that trim pieces just "break." I've used many different car washes and this has NEVER happened. I was told to leave my name and number and was told I would get a call back from the owner. I did not get a call back so I decided to go back and follow up. I was told by the same "manager" that he left a note. I asked when I would get a call back and he said " I'm not going to push the issue, my owner is a busy man." This drive through car wash is a great way to get your car clean fast without a lot of effort or needing to spend a lot of cash. They reward you if you pre-buy car washes by adding bunches of free washes to a pre-paid card (for example when I bought ten $5 washes, I was given seven additional free washes -- less than $3 per car wash. However, if you lose that card you will not get reimbursed. Their vacuum is only $1 for 3 minutes. I used to go to the coin operated car wash on Monterey Street. It's $2.50 (but claims to have wax and no-spot mixes that sometimes only dribble and ripped me off with their non-functioning carpet clearer that has since been removed). Gilroy Express does NOT require you to spray your car clean and it even drys your car so you don't have lots of spots. In summary, Gilroy Express cleans my car well and their vacuum seems twice as powerful as the self serve car wash place so it is fine if their vacuum is 1 minute less because it's 50 cent cheaper and saves me time because it cleans quickly. It's a great deal and another reason Gilroy is a wonderful place to live. read more

The employees, are spot on ( and spot free) knowing you as a regular.,Friendly and if you ask for some extra TLC they will spend that little touch on tires and or back of car. Drying and vacuum area always clean most part vacuums suck, which you want...enough. I was there earlier today and I could say they have some racist people running this business. I hit the car in front of me because the young associate gave me poor instructions on when to put my car in neutral. He didn't realize the car in front of me was not at a safe distance for my car to enter. I would not trust this young guy. He only has one month of experience. To top it off, the young female working there, was quick to accuse me and humiliate me in public. She was a young white girl and the guy was also white. The driver on front of me was also white. I get my car washed at least once a month and always go the Gilroy Express Wash because of the convenience. I spend most of my time at the vacuums because...well, kids. I must say, the vacuums have good suction and always impress me. Garbage cans are always emptied so trash isn't over flowing and crazy, more room for my trash! Jk...kinda. They have a floor mat cleaner machine which I haven't used yet but I'm glad it's there because I know I will in the near future. I have not had issues with the car wash other than when they don't have time to do a thorough pre brush on the back and tires before you are sent into the car wash, then I have streaks of dirt left over in the grooves and crevices but that doesn't happen often. I always get the 12 dollars wash and never noticed any problems. It's very fast and clean. They even scrub my windows before washing my car. My car's been sitting outside for 8 months and covered with dirt. It was so dirty my windows got stuck. Today I took it to them, paid 12 dollars and after less than 2 minutes my car was spotless! I just left this "establishment" and my car was scratched up! While I was there, there was another black Mercedes so I walked over to see if he had the same scratches....well he did!!
