This was our first time visiting a RV Park. We loved it from the moment we arrived!! Quiet, safe and secure... We stayed for a week and it was SO nice and pleasant, and our cat was welcomed too!! We enjoyed are stay so much that we booked next month with them right away. Nancy and the staff were so nice and a pleasure to talk to. There are full time residents at this park. Everyone had nice kept/clean sites. Looking forward to next month.....

The layout of the park is very nice and spacious. The scenery is beautiful. The downside is the number of long term residents.

At night you hear nothing but the occasional animal sounds...a great break from reality from the hustle and bustle of the work world in San Jose. During the day, pretty much the same, I almost feel guilty talking to my daughter outside and making noise that may disturb someone....it is colder right now, so that may change in the summer, but either way, I kind of like the peace and quiet. The place is surrounded by beautiful green hills in the springtime and is close to town, yet surrounded by nature, a perfect blend. I was able to get a great spot that is somewhat private with privacy fencing and the lot is not too big and not too small (have a 32ft and could fit another 32ft right next to it and still have room. A little worried that new managers are coming in, so we'll see how that goes, but so far so good! The only downside is the cell service, but the manager let me know to turn my phone to wi-fi calling which worked, the only bad thing is I still don't get text messages...not too much of a deal since I don't really text, but I do miss an occasional work text. The washers and dryers are fairly inexpensive in relation to neighboring laundromats, which is helpful. One of least expensive parks in the area which is very appreciated in this over-inflated area. Overall, no major concerns, I would recommend this place to others who may be looking.

The spots are very close to each other, but this is a small campground, maybe 50 spots. The KOA person guided us into our spot, made it easy because if it was just me and the wife... well you know! Moss landing is an old fishing town, very small, abut very historical and interesting to walk around. The ocean beach is walking distance from the campground. I will return to this place, very safe and very secluded. Nice clean laundry room, landscaping is beautiful, location is in a very secluded area in the farming community. Very tight spots, you are really close to your neighbor. But that's OK, this is a place you stay at, and go out during the day to see the sites around the area. There is no stores or restaurants in the area. Only one deli (which is really good but only open to 3pm). So you will need to have food and supply with you.

The other levels, journey, destination and resort are increasingly fancy, but generally have some kind of market, a cafe or restaurant, pools, jacuzzis and the like - more so at the higher levels. Well, this one was a fraction of the size of most of those. it was very well kept, nice level paved sites, excellent bathrooms - two full bathrooms, where you get your own toilet, sink and shower and door It's essentially located right in the harbor, there's a gate that will get you to the docks. Including all the whale watching boats . A bunch of sea lions were my neighbors on a rock on the other side of the fence. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance as well, so that makes up for not having one on site

We've stayed at Coyote Valley RV Park before and had a great experience, which makes this review…read moreespecially disappointing. This stay, our site (in the 140s) was overrun with ants. The infestation was so severe that we had to buy our own ant spray, lost well over $100 in food, and are now bringing ants home in our RV. What was most frustrating wasn't just the ants--it was how the situation was handled. We were told that the 140 sites are "really a problem." Later, however, when speaking to the owner she claimed they weren't aware of an ant problem. Those two statements don't line up. We talked with a few of the long-term residents around us and they all have ant problems. The management seems to want to keep it quiet by intimidating long-term residents and staff. When we asked for some reasonable accommodation, even just a refund for a couple of nights, there was no willingness to work with us. Instead, we were told the ants were probably already in our RV and were advised to Google how to get rid of them. By doing our own investigation with the people who were parked around us, obviously, this was a known problem and the owner was flat-out lying. We weren't looking for a free vacation. We were looking for a business to stand behind its guests when something clearly went wrong. Even refunding one night would have shown good faith. It's unfortunate because we've enjoyed staying here in the past. But after this experience, and the complete lack of customer service afterward, we can't recommend staying here until the ant and customer service issues are addressed.

We stayed two weeks total & in that two weeks, we got multiple phone calls, site visits & notes regarding what we can & cannot have at our site. And while I understand rules & insurance policies, none of the items we had were unsightly, unclean, dangerous or even crowded. We were told we cannot have a planter box even though 2 potted/contained plants are allowed per site & MULTIPLE sites have more than 2 as well as other sites having planter boxes. It is only an issue for us. We also were told our contained trashcan has to be indoors & that it is stated on the rules. IT IS NOT & MULTIPLE sites have outdoor trashcans, again, it was only an issue for us. The site 4 spots down from us has a literal toilet & garbage outside, that's not an issue. There are multiple trailers with trash outside & that is also not an issue. I voiced my complaints to the office & they were EXTREMELY rude. Other tenants in the park told me similar situations had happened before resulting in those occupants ultimately leaving which we did as well. My fiancee travels for work & we have stayed in multiple parks, we always keep our site clean & tidy, we obey noise rules & other park rules & we have never had an issue anywhere else. This is by far the worst park in the Morgan Hill area & also the sites are infested with ants so if you still choose to stay here, make sure you bring ant killer. I will never recommend this park to anyone, it's awful.
