Wow! What a gem. Basil rice, Tom yum soup, pad Thai chicken was to die for! Best Thai food I've tasted in a while.

I ordered the Philadelphia sushi roll and Thai tea. Overall, I was pleased with my meal but I honestly think the menu was pricey. I understand Asian restaurants are not abundant in Marble Falls, but speaking as a Thai person, I'm saying the food is priced an average of $3-4 more than what I've grown up seeing on menus elsewhere. If you're willing to pay that because it's authentic and tasty, great. But I still don't think it's worth the cost considering the atmosphere feels hole in the wall. I still give 4 stars because if money wasn't a factor, this restaurant still offers good food. read more

Wasn't expecting to eat sushi in Marble Falls but found this amazing place! Sushi, miso soup and seaweed salad were all great and reasonably priced. Also had chicken teriyaki which was delicious but way too much sauce - I'd ask for it on the side. Would definitely go back read more

This review is for your location in Fredericksburg. When you first opened the food was as good as I have ever tasted--even in Thailand. However you must have taken your chefs back to Marble Falls as the last visit on April 5 th for lunch the Pad Kee Mow was tasteless-no spice-I had to ask for peppers. The noodles looked like leftovers and were just in a big lump. My companion had Pad Thai and it was very very dry and the tofu was old and tough.. Must admit I had been warned by others that the food quality had gone way down. Visiting with the table next to us they were disappointed also., Look-I know you can prepare great Thai Food because you did when you first came. Something has gone wrong in your kitchen here in Fredericksburg. The folks here in Fredericksburg are not very forgiving and they share a lot about their food experiences. You were praised highly at first but now you run the risk of losing your devotees. Please fix whatever is wrong in a hurry. We need you here in this town and I fear you will lose your business if you do not find out what is going on and fix it. Service is good--it is the kitchen that needs attention. read more

We've eaten here many times and have always had a pleasant experience, but today was horrible!! We decided to call our order in this evening since they did not open until 5pm. We called exactly at 5 and gave our order. At 5:50 they have still not started cooking our order, was told that there were many calls before us...Really? Totally unprofessional!! We've been eating here weekly for well over a year. The Thai food is delicious and not too spicy. The grilled salmon is excellent! But I come here for the fish. They serve the best sushi in the hill country. The maguro, hamachi and salmon are always consistent. For appetizers we usually order the spicy tuna and salmon rolls. They're the best ever. But definitely check out their other appetizers. The spring rolls and fried tofu make excellent vegetarian options. read more

Yes, I'm dismayed by the negative comments, but, really, it would be impossible to please everyone all the time. We have family in Wimberley , San Marcos and San Antonio--and all of us stop in to Ginger and Spice for a bite when we're in the neighborhood. They are so nice ---always looking to please---and we've never been let down once. If you aren't happy with a dish, why not share, in a nice way, how you think it might be made better? This is a great little restaurant and we'll continue to give them our business and recommend them as well. read more

What happened? This used to be a good place. The 5 of us were seated (granted, during a rush), but 3 tables seated after us got drinks first. We ordered appetizers (3 of them) and main courses. 30 minutes later we still hadn't gotten appetizers and the other tables were leaving!!! At 45 minutes we asked for our food to go because of delays. They tried to rush things at an hour and provided us with a check to pay for it all, but hadn't received the main courses yet!!! During this whole time the waiter didn't once give us an update or check on things. By the time PART of the table got their food, the restaurant was mostly empty and my wife and I decided that we'll leave after paying for the appetizers. THEN they brought out the meals to go - too late. They could keep them. Won't be back. read more

I am a resident of Marble Falls. This restaurant is pretty inside and the waitstaff in the evening is customarily very good. The food has had it's ups and downs, usually during lunchtime, Today was one of those days. I went to grab some curry for lunch at 11 am, the advertised opening time. Upon my entering, I see the staff having a meal. It takes them 5 minutes to greet me and seat me, and when they did it was curt. "Sit anywhere you want," I was told. I ordered off of the lunch menu, which lists the curry I ordered as costing $8.95. It took 45 minutes for them to prepare the meal, by which time I had to leave. They then told me that I was to be charged $13.95 because it was a "dinner portion," to which I said, fine, just put it in to go containers, please. I was told that they'd bring me the containers and that I could do it myself. I don't know who the owners of this establishment are, nor how they hire their staff. This quality of service is surely not worth paying for. If your sign says OPEN, then be open and ready to serve the public that you receive and also be polite about it! read more
