First time at this restaurant and the dining experience was very good. I had BBQ pork vermicelli with 2 spring rolls and my wife had Flat Noodles with Vegetables....very tasty and generous portions. The menu is extensive and will try a different dish next time. The decor is western style. This past particular Sunday was very noisy bc several small children were present. Service was prompt and friendly by bar lady...fortunately we sat at a booth facing the bar which shielded us from screaming kids a bit. Took a risk by stopping by the restaurant as we pass by Marble Falls on our way to Enchanted Rock. Ambiance is very nice and screams Texas; not a traditional hole in the wall you typically expect in a viet restaurant. The hostess greeted us in Spanish initially which got us nervous thinking this might be a bad choice for Asian food. Don't worry, it got better from here... To our surprise, the food is quite good! We order Pho and Vermicelli dish and both are delicious! The folks working here are nice and friendly. Pho w. Sliced ribeye and brisket (4/5) - great bowl of noodle soup overall. We ordered a large and the bowl was like a normal size as we get at other pho restaurants in Austin; with that said, their meat portion was very generous. The ribeye was not as tender as we would like for rare steak but it was still good. Brisket was good but nothing to rave about. Pho broth was not bad at all. This hits the spot as comfort food during our road trip. Grill pork with egg roll vermicelli (5/5) - this dish is huge and the flavor of grilled pork is spot on. Fish sauce is very good too which to me, one key item that makes or breaks a good vermicelli. The egg roll here is SOOO good. It has a very good authentic Vietnamese "cha gio" stuffing flavor. We've only been there once. That was enough. I got the pork vermicelli. It was completely dry. The noodles were dry and undercooked. It was on a bed of dry, shredded lettuce. The pork was good enough, but when I mixed all of it together, the pork vanished in the whole. I ended up taking some of the liquid from her soup so I could eat it. I have never had a vermicelli dish this dry and tasteless. My dish was supposed to come with two egg rolls; they were spring rolls. They were good, just not what I ordered or wanted. She got the large pho soup. After adding the small plate of veggies, it was still weak. I poured about a third of her liquid into mine, and it was still weak Service was okay, so I did give a reasonable tip. We came here a few weeks ago for some Pho. It was pretty good so we decided to try some of the other dishes. The first time we came the Pho was good but this most recent time, the other dishes were tried were "okay" at best. We ordered the house egg rolls. When we got home, and we only live a few minutes away, they were almost cold. They actually tasted as if they had been sitting under a heating lamp, but definitely not fresh. I asked the person handing me the food if they had any hot mustard. The reaction on his face told me he has been asked this many time before, but they didn't and only offered me siracha in a packet. Seems if they can have siracha, hot mustard wouldn't be that hard to get in packets. We also ordered the Chicken Fried Rice. It was supposed to come with carrots and peas; there were some very think julienne carrots but no peas. Not even one. I don't know what chicken they use, but it's flavorless and the rice is basically plain tasting. We tried the Lo-mein with chicken and Pad Thai with Chicken. They use a flat noodle and not a traditional lo-mein noodle. It came with the vegetables (broccoli, peppers, bok choy and mushrooms. They advertise "whole green peas" but there were none. There might have been two or three pieces of bok choy and we only saw one piece of mushroom. The other veggies were saturated from sauce. The Pad Thai wasn't a lot better and in both dishes, it's the same chicken as the fried rice. Just very bland and chewy tasting. Not very fresh chicken. If this rating was based upon the other food, I would have given two starts, but the Pho was okay. read more

We were in the area to visit the Sweet Berry Farm for their activities and seen this spot heading there and told ourselves we have to come try it after visiting the farm. Im sure glad we did because we we're hungry and in the mood for all this yumminess. We order some appetizers: egg rolls & wontons- hot, fresh & delicious! The sauces paired up well. I had the combination fried rice and hubby had the Pho with all the meat. The combo rice is a good amount, so don't think its like a side for one person. Upon entering this establishment I expected Asian decor but instead it was Western themed, with cowboy pictures and animal heads on the walls. We were seated then waited ten minutes for our orders to be taken. The steamed pot stickers were good. The Pad Thai was good enough and served hot. The fried rice was just steamed rice with vegetables and cold shrimp added. The Generals Chicken was over cooked, chewy and cold. I lost my appetite after chewing on one piece. More expensive than I thought it would be. My soda was $3.50. If I had known I would have ordered water. I got the combo soup in small and the drink. My total was : $19.50 before tip. My waiter did his job but was not overly friendly. My soup has a good exotic flavor that I liked. Not overly spicy so you could taste all the ingredients. The small was plenty big enough as I couldn't finish mine. The ambience inside was a nice mix of western with an Asian flair. My friend had eaten sesame chicken here & enjoyed it. So when we went to lunch I thought it would be safe since we both normally like sesame chicken. Our waiter was very friendly & did concur that their sesame chicken is very popular & very crispy. Our sesame chicken was barely cooked! I could taste flour on some of my pieces. We came on a Saturday and it seemed to be the only thing open using this parking lot. We were sat right away, but there were plenty of people there. We got service quick and food came out fast. I got a combination pho any my wife got crispy noodles. My soup was good but the meatballs were dense. I don't know if they were more dense than they should have been. Again, a bit nicer than BC location. As with my BC review, the Vietnamese options are done correctly and worthy. This visit I tried the shrimp and pork vermicelli as well as the beef pho. No surprises here, outstanding. Prices are acceptable while higher than most Vietnamese restaurants in Calif. again, can't emphasize enough that the ambience is chilled and relaxing. I like how this place has a bit of every cuisine - vietnamese, thai, etc. The service was decent, it took a while to get seated hutu after that they servers were very attentive. I got the singapore noodles with tofu. The tofu was not good at all - very very oily. The noodles were decent - not super authentic but satisfied my noodle craving.
