This is a review of good and bad. We ordered from Uber eats. Ordered orange chicken, the house, lo mein, and moo sho pork. When it arrived, we had the orange chicken and lo mein, as well as the pancakes and plum sauce for the moo sho pork, but not the filling. I called and they said they would send out an order. We ate the fried rice, orange chicken, and lo mein and it was really good. When they delivered us the moo sho pork filling. It looked nothing like what it should. For one there was absolutely no egg, and no mushrooms. It was so dark and so over seasoned it was uneditable. I scrambled up a couple eggs and tossed some of it in, but it was still so overpowering you could not eat it. I hate to give them a bad review for one item, but the one item was horrible. I would probably order from them again just would not order that dish. read more

This place is absolutely disgusting. The Mongolian beef dish featured a single flavor: salt. I honestly believe there was no other seasoning or spice used except an obscene amount of salt; it was so gross. Also, why was the "beef" so soggy? Did not seem like beef. The boneless bbq ribs were so over cooked and tough I'm sure it had been sitting for hours. I think the only thing that saved me from getting really sick is that both dishes were so inedible that I threw them away pretty quickly. This is easily the worst American Chinese spot in all of Lee county. I would go further to say that it's the worst I've had anywhere I've ever been. I don't know where to begin. Terrible service. Waited 30 minutes for a pint of beef chow mein and two egg rolls. Patrons coming in after me and ordering received their meals first. I was told it was the egg rolls. It was the worst chow mein I've ever had. Mostly cabbage very little beef. LaChoy chow mein is better than this restaurants. The customer service upon pickup was bad and communication was terrible after an online order, but for good food that's forgivable. I don't expect much better from fast food Chinese. The beef in the beef and broccoli was slippery, thin, and worse quality than the freezer aisle Salisbury steak. The beef in the beef teriyaki? Not the same kind of meat. Pulled what we thought was a stick out of the beef teriyaki. It was not a stick. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't edible nor was it a stick. The General Tso chicken had no flavor. We've been ordering from this place for years. Today, I called for a delivery and the lady on the phone was very easily confused, and kept putting me on hold. The first thing I asked for was mooshu chicken with extra pancakes. We get this every time without a hitch. This time, it was like I was speaking a lost language. She put me on hold to ask if this was possible. She came back and asked me to define what I mean by "pancakes". I said mooshu comes with pancakes, just add an extra pack. I was put on hold again. Five total times I was put on hold! All over those pancakes! After taking 15 minutes to take my order, she almost hung up, but I told her I needed to pay with a card. She again sounded confused. Hold again! After all of this, she asked if it was for pickup or delivery (which was the first thing we covered). When our food arrived, there were no extra pancakes, no egg roll (for my order), and the boneless ribs were so tough they were almost inedible. We had a late lunch so we ended up wanting something to eat again just after 8:15pm tonight (Sunday). My husband wanted to try something close and suggested China Express II. We ordered Dragon and Phoenix (12.99) and Shrimp Szechuan Style (11.25). My husband suggested we eat in their dining room. After ordering we realized this is much more of a take-out place and after looking around I wish we had ordered the food to take with us. The place could use a good cleaning. The food was disappointing. Both dishes were listed as spicy. The shrimp in the Dragon and Phoenix had no seasoning and were tiny. The vegetables dominating this portion of the entrée were diced carrots and peas from a frozen food bag. This is not what was pictured on the menu. The beef portion of this entrée was better but still not A-Okay. The sauce on the Shrimp Szechuan Style was unlike any I've ever had. It tasted like bad brown gravy with a couple shakes of red pepper flakes. The shrimp in this dish were large and plentiful. It just didn't taste good. Final Assessment: We can't suggest this. I ordered food over phone and the guy taking my order told me 35 when the white American driver came to my door it was magically 38. I had 50$ dollar bill and the driver didn't magically have change. I said why's it more and like the drunk/junkie he probably is he just shrugged saying he had no idea and probably the delivery charge the restaurant taxes on. This happened 3 times. The first thing I have to say is that MSG is apparently a staple at this particular restuarant. If you have issues -- like me -- be very careful. Many of the items on the menu can be ordered without MSG, but all soup has MSG. On our order: Sweet and Sour Chicken Wonton Soup Boneless Spare Rib House Fried Rice There were three of us in the group that were eating. I didn't touch the soup. I tried one of the spare ribs and thought it was nothing special. I didn't like the fried rice at all. That left the SS chicken with some white rice. The sweet and sour sauce is one of those items that has MSG, so my meal mainly consisted of fried chicken nuggets and white rice. So why the three stars? I actually tasted the sweet and sour sauce a couple of times. It is one of the better ones I have tasted in quite a while. Wow what a bad place. I ask for plain white rice & EXTRA hot pepper for Szechuan beef. I got neither! The rice was brown in color I guess because of soy sauce. The portion was not very big. And no hot peppers to be seen.( I was VERY specific on hot pepper.) They were fast , nice english not so good. NO soy sauce was given to go and the hot sauce was a mexican pepper.( Cayenne.) All you can eat Chinese food. Just like in California. Just like in New York. Just like in Tulsa. The basics: crab, shrimp, sushi, duck, ice cream, coconut cakes, chow mein, jello, ginger chicken, dim sum pork, BBQ beef, chinese chicken salad, it goes on and on. I really like this place but everyone that I take here always says the same thing, It's good but only this one time.
