    Crab rangoons
    Laura C.

Crab rangoons were too crabby for my taste. Eel avocado maki was good, no complaints. Salmon avocado maki was too vinegary. Spicy tuna maki was pretty bad. Way too spicy, so much that you couldn't even taste anything else, and adding Cucumber makes it cheap.

This is by far my favorite sushi delivery spot near Watertown. The sushi always tastes fresh and they have a good variety. I will continue to order from here for my bi-weekly sushi fix! I also love the ramen soup with pork belly. Would recommend

This is the worst food i've ever had. i ordered the miso salmon and it was raw. in addition, the sushi pizza was flavorless and the spicy tuna tasted like sewage.

Amazing, delicious, great service, clean and calm ambiance, warm inside, overall a lovely experience. We got sushi rolls (all so yummy, Symphony, Sake-2-Me, and Spider), and sweet garlic udon. Very happy!

Pineapple fried rice, Watertown pad Thai, Korean galbi & bao bao dinner
    Victoria C.

A solid place for your Asian cravings with everything from Pad Thai to Bao sandwiches. We ordered delivery through GrubHub and got Watertown Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Galbi, and BaoBao dinner (3 baos & fries). I loved the extra amount of peanuts that were in the Pad Thai that added extra crunch to every single bite of noodle I ate. The pineapple fried rice was good but really oily. The galbi was sweet, but a little different from the taste I am used to. The baos were solid - we ordered the Korean beef, and the fries were average and come with a side of ketchup. We enjoyed leftovers the next day, so feel free to order and try that extra dish.

Pros: - Sashimi was fine - Seaweed salad was fine Cons: - Rice used to make nigiri and maki were not cooked through (i.e. raw and hard) Note: shows up as True Foods Asian Fusion on DoorDash

I mean, I've heard of rhdjdjd before, but my dislike for American corndog from a young age has kept me completely oblivious to an other version. Just a very select few times in my life, I have eaten something so good, it's made me question everything around me. Korean corndog?!? How could I have lived this long and overlook something so good? It is nothing like the corndogs we are used to in America. The panko is everything. The crunchy texture paired with the oooooeeeyyy gooooeyy cheese makes this what I can only describe as a eutrophic experience. Yes the corndog is phenomenal, but the crispy chicken sliders alone would have been worth the trip. The crunchy, light and airy breading is perfection. Paired with house made pickles, spicy mayo and a pillowy soft bun, and a honey teriyaki pineapple glaze crispy chicken. I did not come here for any sort of chicken item, but unexpectedly, this is easily a top 3 chicken sandwich/slider I've ever had. This little restaurant is dangerous. The menu is simply irresistible. Kimchi papi may be small in footprint, but it packs a huge punch to the tastebuds.

We ordered the cheese topokki (soft rice cake, fish cake, vegetable, & mozzarella in Korean spicy sauce) & the beef bulgogi bowl (fried marinated beef, vegetables, steamed rice & side of soup). The cheese topokki was just as good as we remembered - chewy, flavorful, comforting, & a little bit weird. The cheese was poorly distributed, but it was still very tasty. The beef bulgogi bowl was really underwhelming. Firstly, it was very little food. We were promised vegetables, but there were only a few scarce onions & zucchini pieces mixed in. It was also dry. It was devoid of moisture & sauce, so we added some from the fridge at home. The side of soup was a joke. It filled only about 2/3 of the container & looked so sad, we wondered if it was the sauce that we we so desperately needed. Nope, just a meager amount of watered down miso soup. So the conclusion - great topokki, sub-par bulgogi, non-existent soup.

For the food, we got the tuna kimbap, Seoul toppoki, and bulgogi hot pot for two. Everything was SO good. The ingredients were fresh and the food was flavorful (sweet from the bulgogi, savory from the mushrooms, spicy from the toppoki sauce, salty from the tuna, and sour from the pickled vegetables). The price for the portion size was a great value and we ended the night feeling very full and even had to pack up an entire container of the hotpot for two that we didn't finish. Overall, we had a great time and I can't wait to come back again. This might be my new favorite Korean food spot in the Boston area.

It took quite awhile to place our order, and our appetizers came out after other tables who arrived after us, got their food before us. unfortunately we were not able to stay for our entrees. We managed to flag our server down to ask them to box it to go instead of bringing the dishes out. It did seem like perhaps our order might have not been put in right away after ordering. We ordered the following: -rotı (w/ potato curry sauce) this was tasty, light and flakey / crispy. The potatoes curry sauce was so nice, balanced saltiness. -chicken wings (wl spicy garlic sauce), i personally would pass on these next time. My portion was a bit dry. The dishes we took to go, -pad see ew- this had a nice chew even after reheating later. Thought it could have used a bit more protein portion tossed in but that's just personal pref, looked a bit light. Probably the best dish we ordered. -pla pad kun chai (fried cod fish fillet w/ lemongrass + Chinese celery) this to me isn't good to take out. Needs to be eaten on site and hot. The fillets no longer were crispy, maybe seperate sauces on side next time instead of all in one container. It wasn't too enjoyable later with extra fishy smell, taste for a white fish. -Thai iced- i like a more creamier consistency Thai tea, this one was more watery style. All in all not a terrible experience but not great. 20 min before we were able to order and 40 min plus for appetizers to come out, hence we took entrees to go.

The Highlight: The Kalbi If you come here and don't order the Kalbi, you're doing it wrong. We got it prepared from the kitchen, and it was hands-down the best we've had in the city. * The Texture: Incredibly tender. * The Cook: Perfectly charred with that signature smoky sweetness. * The Verdict: We literally had to order a second round because one plate wasn't enough. It's that good. The Supporting Cast * Seafood Pancake: Light, airy, and actually crispy (no soggy centers here!). * Spicy Cold Noodle: The texture was spot on. Often these get overcooked and turn into a sticky mess, but these were perfectly chewy and separated easily. * Seafood Soondobu: Hot, comforting, and packed with flavor. A solid 10/10 for a chilly Boston day. The Banchan & Service The banchan (side dishes) were fresh and flavorful. The bean sprouts and kimchi were the standouts for me, though I was a little bummed they didn't have the spicy cucumbers . Service was fantastic--super friendly and very attentive without being overbearing. They kept the water filled and the vibes high. The flavors are definitely the same, but the skin on the wings are kind of different. Most bonchons have a crispy outer layer that can come off, but this location didn't have that. Second, the ambiance is really cool. With the neon wall art, cool LED-strip lighting, and the wooden tables with cozy lights. Good, chilled-back music that's great for this type of restaurant. Lastly, the food. Best pickled radish I've ever had. Couldn't even tell it was radish at first. Had this sweet, delicate taste to it. Also, there were several beers I came across that I never tried before. They had a lot of food options to choose from which is nice. Had the seasoned fries which were tasty. Would have been helpful if they listed what was on them (e.g. parmesan) since some might be lactose intolerant. I feel most Yelp pictures don't so the appearance of the chicken its justice. My main critique about the chicken is that it's overly friend but that's my personal preference. Much like when Chinese restaurants fry chicken wings. I think if they reduced the temperature a bit, the skin wouldn't be so "uncomfortably crunchy" when biting it (yet alone messy). With sauce, the skin can act like a carmelized shell. Chicken quality is alright, but wouldn't return for it. I'd rather try one of their other dishes.
