Man listen, this place is awesome. It's located within MGM, so it's pretty noisy but nothing out of the ordinary. Our waitress, Yennifer was amazing. She was very friendly, polite, personable and had a great attitude. She made the dining experience even better. The set up of the restaurant is nice and they move rather quickly. Like it didn't take long for our food to arrive. It arrived so quick I was nervous that they didn't even cook it properly. I was wrong! The food was fresh, plentiful and hot. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and the hubby had beef and broccoli. Our friends ordered general tso, wonton soup, spring rolls and some kind of curry. Can't place the name of it but it looked delicious. If you order an entree that comes with rice, you receive a big bowl to share but don't worry they will offer more if need be. Lacked a lot of flavor for being Asian cuisine..perhaps watered down for cultural standards. Service was atrocious. We ate on a Sunday afternoon. Not busy at all. Took 15 minutes just for the server to greet us. We saw her once more during our dinner. She asked how the food was. Had to request for our server to return for our check. We came here for my sister's birthday and had one of the private rooms. We felt a little secluded from the rest, so we opened the curtains and at last...we were able to spread out a bit. The server was great and polite...the food...kinda fell flat for me, nothing to write home about at all. It was nasty, but it wasn't great. You're paying for the MGM, not the food. Excellent experience! I had the wonton soup. Although the broth smelled and tasted "gamey" and one dimensional, the soup was otherwise good. Absolutely the worst Chinese food we have ever had. Eggrolls, uneatable pot stickers, a shrimp dish and a chicken dish for $105. The only positive about the experience was that we had casino credits so it didn't cost us anything. The entire meal was truly awful. I had ordered a meal at this restaurant years ago while visiting MGM. I remembered a delicious Honey Walnut Scollop meal that I had been trying to make on my own at home. Since I was staying at the nearby Wyndham National Harbor, I decided to drive over and get that meal again. First, they do not accept phone or online delivery services, and you must come this Ginger in order to make and receive a takeout order. Second, the walk from the parking lot to the restaurant was extremely long. I had to sit and catch my breath Three times. When I got to the restaurant I realized the only similar meal was a Honey Walnut Prawns meal made with large breaded shrimp. I had driven over and made that walk, so I ordered that with rice and broccoli. I asked for the ice cream that was on their menu, but they had none. I picked up some ice cream on the way back to the car. The takeout service was good and even gave me an extra receipt when I asked for one. This meal was not as delicious as I remembered. Even the broccoli seemed to have no seasoning, so was tasteless. I sat on the seat of my walker while waiting for my order. It really didn't take long to bring my order that totaled over $84. There was a large portion that I could eat from two or three times, however. I won't be getting food from this restaurant again. It just wasn't worth the walk or the cost. read more

We started with the lettuce wraps that were filled with more filling than I've ever seen before and freshly fried gyozas. The sauces with the small spoons were a cute touch. For mains we got the Peking duck (whole) and combo house fried rice which was a lot of food. We requested the pancakes and the bao buns. The duck comes with one or the other, or $5 extra for both. Great customer service from everyone especially Cindy (I think that was her name), the mgr. About a week ago I was there I ordered what I usually do , the Singapore noodles, but when I got home they forgot to season it with anything. I mentioned it to the person at the front of the restaurant today who also is awesome, but I don't know her name. Stayed at the MGM Grand and was starving when we arrived and boy did we go to the right place! Service was on the spot and the food was ready so quickly! We had 4 in our party and all was ready in the time it usually takes for an appetizer. Might be the best fried rice I've ever had! And I love Mongolian beef - this has a kick to it, a bit spicy but in a good way. The flavor was there. And then she brought a hot towel to everyone at the end. Portions were good for sharing. I've been and has had great service other times I feel like cattle or the forgotten woman under the stairs. The atmosphere is nice located near the theater and atrium of the MGM. I always order the same thing and the flavor definitely varies each time I get the chicken Singapore noodles. I'll ask for spice and it doesn't have any. The wait staff do try their best to be professional and hospitable because the crowd they have to work with on the daily are just so different from the standard in the industry - Gamblers. Do you realize how poorly some of the people get treated by self entitled Gamblers that have thrown away fortunes, family and their very lives away? The prices of the food on the menu are over inflated because they have to account for the insane amount of Casino Comps that are issued to each check every shift. I can't find the scallops, Pad Thai, Lamb Lollipops etc we had in my camera roll but I'll be sure to update the review when I find them, but the quality is there. The location is in front of the main entrance of MGM nearby the Valet Parking, Theatre, and VIP Casino Entrance. Again, while dining here keep in mind that the folks here most likely don't receive the best of tips because of the average guest that comes through there. Also, if you're looking on Yelp to see/read this review your pockets probably aren't full enough to tip them super crazy - food is supposed to be overpriced and you just have to deal with it. I've seen so many people lose a fortune at the Casino and then go to their Host and get a $300-$1000 food comp to Ginger and take it ALL Togo. Came here twice and both times I thought to myself "Wow this isn't good at all" then I will eat something else and think "Wow, this is amazing" You don't come here for the drinks, they are decent but go literally anywhere else for cocktails. Ordered the honey glazed chicken wings and those were AMAZING, like some of my favorite wings that I've ever had which got my hopes up for the rest of the dishes lolol. Potstickers weren't bad, but they weren't good either sighhh. General Tso Shrimp & Chicken were both fantastic, but the Squid and the bbq pork were terrible. We were seeing a show at the MGM theater and this place is very convenient for that. Otherwise, I'd give it 2.5 stars rounded up to 3. Very expensive, very noisy and busy with very average food. We had hot and sour cucumbers, shredded pork with crispy noodles and Beef Chow Fun. If we had to come back, I wouldn't get any of that again. You might find even yourself smiling at the poker table and someone will ask you why, and you will say, "Cucumber Salad." The noodles were good. Not a lot of taste but still good. Upon entering this restaurant, which is conveniently located right at the MGM valet door entrance, you are welcomed by the beautiful ambiance. It is situated right in a busy walking area but surprisingly the noise of the MGM patrons does not disturb the experience in the restaurant. The food was ok, we ordered a few items to share family style. The items we ordered were: Chicken lettuce wraps, which came with 3. They were over stuffed, but with mainly celery. The lamb lollipops, they were over done, so we had to send them back and we didn't no ask for more. The Chicken Pad Thai was not all that! As someone who loves loves loves Pad Thai I was pretty disappointed. The manager did try to bring me some sauce because it was very dry. The honey glazed wings, my mom loved them. Tasty and cooked to perfection. Crispy veggie spring rolls, were very hot and delicious. We came to Ginger for the first time and it was the first place we been that let's you tell the restaurant you are here via text. We asked if the entrees were family-sized because the tables around us looked like large plates, but we were told no and for us these are definitely family sized entrees. For appetizer we got the pan fried potatoes stickers but once we reached the entrees, as two people we were unable to even make a dent in the General tso chicken, Mongolian beef, and Chinese broccoli that we ordered. Everything came out hot and tasted great with flavor. Each item also automatically came with rice so we ended up with 3 rice bowls. We will definitely be back, but would be more mindful on sharing entrees since one was too large for us. read more

At one point we did have to get our servers attention as she hadn't been to our table in a while and my husband needed additional rice and we both needed drinks. Cons, the food overall was bland. The chicken in the lettuce wraps didn't have much flavor and they were loaded with a ton of celery. All of the hoisin sauce was in the bottom of the wrap which I found odd. I think it would be better on top. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai, and again, it was bland. I've had better pad Thai for half the price. The prices here are high for what you're getting. The portions are large but the food lacks flavor. We ordered drinks as well. We each had the scorpion and found they were very acidic and too strong. It tasted like I was drinking rum with lime juice. Another issue, the restaurant itself is beautiful but I wasn't a fan of our table. We were at a 2 person table, booth on one side, chair on the other and the table was extremely close to the tables to the tables next to us. We were in the middle, so I had to squeeze by the one table to get into the booth and I'm not a large person. It felt like we were dining with the tables next to us, that's how close we were. I did have a reservation but it felt like we were sat at a table that was for walk ins they just needed to stick somewhere. I would try other options in the MGM before returning here. read more

Of the several options at MGM NH, we chose this one solely because they had Sesame Chicken on the menu, and that's what we ordered. Instead, we were brought Sesame Shrimp. We made the mistake of not having them correct the error, cuz, ya know, shrimp is nice. At least it is when it's fresh. But when you order Sesame Chicken and the chef makes Sesame Shrimp, and you start to feel sick shortly after leaving the restaurant, you start to wonder what the hell they are trying to pull. I'm not sure if the shrimp was the culprit, but I'm not inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt if it follows a blunder that bad. Avoid this place like the plague. The restaurant was aesthetically pleasing and for it being in the MGM, it was surprisingly tranquil. It was so hard to decide on an appetizer and an entree but I was very pleased. The spring rolls were so good and the sauce, chef's kiss. My entree was so big and delicious, I would say it was kind of heavy for lunch, but it made for great leftovers and it honestly tasted even better the next day.
