This is one of my favorite Asian restaurants in Old Town. They have such a great selection and the food is amazing. Im a huge fan or the shrimp and broccoli and lo mein. I wanted classic takeout options but with better quality and Kisso hits the mark. When I dine in everyone is helpful and things come out pretty quick. There are not a lot of tables so arrive early! The service and food were very good. We ordered takeout, there was a nice waiting area. The dining looked like it would have been nice. They prepared the meals well to go. Stopped in for a quick lunch and initially I would've given it a 2 because the greeting at the door was unhappy, almost like 'what are you doing here?' However, the waitress lightened up as the lunch went on. Fast service, but not necessarily with a smile. The restaurant is surprisingly bigger than it looks. There's a whole top floor as well as the first floor so they can accommodate large parties. The lunch was OK. It was off the generic lunch menu, which is usually like standard Chinese fast food and that's what I felt when I got the shrimp with mixed vegetables. It had brown sauce, quite salty, nothing to rave home about but the avocado salad was good. It just left more to be desired. The ginger sauce over lettuce was a little bland but good sized portion. Give it a try if you want something other than sushi. Pricing wise it's a little expensive if you order via uber eats so order directly through them. This place used to be amazing, but the service has gotten quite bad, it may ruin your mood. Reservation is not needed. They always have seats. Parking is hard. The sushi is decent. However, the server ladies are rude and always rushing you. They even took away our table's utensils to get us going soon. So, the family wanted sushi really bad and we found this place which I'm glad we did. The service was great. The servers came over to assist me with opening my soda. But they also made sure we were taken care of even if it wasn't our servers. So, we had a lot of food (took videos and can't upload them). All of the food was delicious and fresh. They have nice size portions. My wife got the soup forgot which one and she was so excited. She got the angry dragon roll which she truly enjoyed. My oldest got a sushi special roll and he said it was good. The little one which sushi is his favorite ordered the shrimp tempura and almost ate all 16 pieces there until I told him enough lol. I got the scallops roll and it was Devine , the calamari and the crab Rangoon were both amazingly cooked. This place was nice and clean. I like how they cleaned up immediately after someone left the table but what caught my eye was that they swept each time customers leave. Bc after you are finished eating here you really want to give it a Kiss :~* I do crave sushi and was craving some and found this cozy place with very welcoming hosts. I sat at the sushi bar. There were so many delicious options but the Angry Dragon roll and Salmon Lovers roll caught my eye. Both rolls were very delicious and worth it. They were both pretty big rolls and filing. If im ever back in the area i will be coming back here for more. Also Kisso is in such a nice little area it's so intimate and cute. I believe its called Old Town, it has a little waterfront to walk around l, a few little shopping stores and plenty of restaurants. Im so happy my friend who i met there suggested this area.
