You really can't say much more. When a restaurant sweeps the slate with all 5. Taste of every dish was refined and sublime. The look of every dish was well thought out. The timing of firing each course was on point. The service was not intrusive but attentive. The ambience felt intimate but not reclusive. There is not much I can criticize about our experience. Oh and the Happy Birthday plate with a candle was a cute addition. Here is the one critique I can make. Make that delicious one bite birthday treat a little bigger. Cheers V Brothers. I watched and rooted for you on Top Chef every time you guys competed.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday night--had reservations and were seated right away in a nice big comfy booth for just two people. Our server Earl was great--super friendly, attentive and had such positive, happy vibes. All the staff were pretty nice. Overall, food was just okay. For starters, the Caesar Salad was fine. For steaks, we got the 16 oz. Ribeye ($82) and 24 oz. Bone-In Strip ($110)--both steaks were not flavored enough, very bland. We were given three different sauces for the steak, but the reality is, if the steak is perfectly cooked and marinated right, you shouldn't need any steak sauce. For the steak pricing too, we were disappointed with the experience. For sides, we got the "Three for $35"-Spinach and Artichoke Gratin, Yukon Gold Potatoes, and Shells & Cheese--all relatively good but nothing exceptional. For dessert, the Banana Foster was my favorite dish of night! They flambéed the banana on a portable stove right at your table, super neat. Also got The Macallan Flight ($80) which was amazing, especially the 18yr pour!

This steakhouse is tucked away in one corner of the MGM casino and can be a hike to get to if you are inside the casino. But you can bypass the casino and go straight to the steakhouse - if you make a left turn at the entrance. The food here is phenomenal and the services pretty good as well. I'm looking forward to coming back here again with a smaller group.

My friend and I had dinner at the steak house before a concert. Everything was great and the service was excellent. My friend got steak and she enjoyed it. I loved the crab cake and all of the shareable sides were really good. I would recommend to celebrate a special occasion.

I had a few hundred dollars in MGM points to burn so decided to treat the family to a very nice steak dinner. I've also always wanted to sample the menu from these celebrity chefs so it was a great opportunity. The joint is jumping. I'm happy that I made a reservation several weeks in advance because there was waiting room only. The atmosphere was comfortable but not cozy, probably because they have to handle such high volume. Service was prompt and friendly, but clearly, the wait staff is rushed. That's not to say that our waiter wasn't pleasant, but he had to hustle, so it affects the experience. The food is excellent as one would expect. Steaks were seasoned and cooked perfectly. My daughter said that she had the best filet of her life. The treat at the end of the night was table side preparation of their take on a bananas Foster. A sweet and entertaining end to the evening.

    Crab cake NO filler! AMAZING

Kalen is your man! Excellent recommendations and service! A MUST when at MGM! Food is chef kiss's! Service is even better if that is possible! 10000% a must!

Had a very delicious meal here. Reservations were for 5:30pm on a Saturday evening. It was busy but that wasn't what caught my attention. The ambiance did. It was quite dark inside. Tables were spaced apart well, but I was also surprised at how casual some folk were dressed. I thought this was a fancier restaurant (shrug). Our server was quite pleasant. I think his name was David. My table ordered the blue crab pop tart as an appetizer it was delicious! Three people split it just fine. For my main, I had the cedar plank salmon. I was quite impressed with the size, as most restaurants only give you a little sliver. And it was quite tasty, along with the cauliflower falafel with hummus and broccolini. My table ordered a few sides: broccolini, mushrooms, brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes. I only had the brussels and sweet potatoes, and as others have mentioned, I would pass on the potatoes. Not really sweet; quite underwhelming. No dessert or drinks this visit.

Table for 2 on a Wednesday night. Always a great place to eat. Service is always on point. Dinner was fantastic as always

Fantastic restaurant with classy decor/atmosphere, well put together beverage presentations and great food. My husband had the Caesar salad , filet and mashed potatoes. He was hoping to enjoy some croutons or bread with his salad but we did not receive any of the sort. A friend had the wagyu pot roast (he has a gluten allergy and he was very pleased). I ordered the tuna tar tar and salmon. The tuna was the only dish I do not recommend. Though I love onions rings and sour cream, it did not go well with raw tuna and I was very disappointed with that dish as it states nothing about fried onion rings or sour cream. All in all, I would dine here again. Plenty more wonderful items to try! Service was great and right on pace.

It's ok for a Casino, but wouldn't survive as standalone steakhouse in DC

Very mediocre steakhouse . There was no char on the steak and the bread service was pricey. They forgot many of our food items, but the Cesar salad was good. Basically a Ruth Christin the MGM. Won't be back. Pricey by underwhelming

Booked a reservation for two for dinner before the show that we were scheduled to see in the theater. I was concerned after reading the email sent earlier that day that their may be delays in being seated due to high volume. Upon check-in we were asked to sit and wait however it wasn't more than five minutes. We actually arrived three minutes before our scheduled reservation slot, thankfully. From the moment that we were seated, service was phenomenal and attentive. I had already looked up the menu prior to booking so I had an idea of what to order and be shared between my mom and me. They shared specials. Every dish was absolutely delicious. We shared a 16 oz ribeye (medium rare) that was conveniently sliced for easy sharing. It came with three sauces as listed. We chose the three sides for $35 deal: asparagus, spinach artichoke, and russet potato. We went back and forth about getting our own potato but in hindsight we are so glad we did not. The potato was more than enough for both of us. I've never seen a potato so large. The ambiance was upscale and dim lit. Everyone was well mannered. While we did not have room for dessert they brought out a complimentary birthday dish for my mother. I will definitely return but for a special occasions only since it is on the pricier side.

I enjoyed myself here. Very accommodating for our friend in a wheelchair as well. Very polite hostess and servers. We had two people running our table. The table setting was nice. We ordered drinks and food. Each came timely, along with refills. I ordered the wood plank salmon shawarma falafel and a hummus spread. It was delicious. We also had the shared sides of mashed potatoes and pasta with cheese. We loved it. Those mashed potatoes were so dang good. My salmon was really big too! Friends all got steaks and wagyu. I had a couple Purple Haze coctails to top it off. Very tasty. A great dinner here.

    Voltaggio's

The food was excellent and the service was great. I ordered the Voltaggio's and really enjoyed it. It's kind of like a grown-up version of SpaghettiOs, with a huge chicken meatball in the center that was also really good. It may sound childish, but it was honestly a delicious dish. I'd definitely get it again.

If a child is in your party, what was the cost per child? I don't see a children's menu or options for children.

Hi, I went at night and did not see a menu for children..

Which parking lot is the closest one?

We used Uber to get there so I am unsure about the parking... sorry

Are reservations typically required? How about on weekends?

    Not required but strongly recommended

How long of a walk to casino?

It is like 30 Feet away from the Casino entrance

Going with a group... can a vegan have an actual meal there or just grab an appetizer?

I'm not sure. They do have an amazing cauliflower steak that's delicious.

The servers were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. We started with a few appetizers, and the Crab & Oyster Rockefeller was absolutely delicious. My mocktail was also refreshing and well-crafted. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Old Bay wings, and my cousins loved both the shrimp and grits and the salad with grilled scallops. Unfortunately, my entrée was the biggest disappointment of the evening. I ordered the Bolognese pasta, and it just completely missed the mark. It didn't taste like a traditional bolognese at all. The sauce was overly acidic and lacked the rich, slow-simmered flavor I was expecting. It's definitely not something I would ever order again. The only other downside was the temperature inside the restaurant. We visited during a heat wave, and while I understand the building is older, it was uncomfortably HOT. I found myself sweating through most of the meal, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. Overall, I have mixed feelings about my visit. The atmosphere, service, appetizers, and drinks were all enjoyable, but my entrée and the uncomfortable temperature kept the experience from being a great one. I would consider returning, but next time I'd stick to the appetizers or try a different entrée.

AB (I think was his name) was an AMAZING host (not the server). He sat me at my table and I immediately asked him for recommendations. He recommended the Dirty Chicken. After some back and forth discussion about the 4 pieces the normal DC order came with, he mentioned I could order a kids DC so I could have room for a starter. He was just really great working with me to help figure out what I should order. I did get charged for a full order that I didn't catch until after I got back to the hotel . AB and the manager brought out my food and Riesling and it wasn't until after I started eating that I saw my server, Misha. She was great as well. Very nice, accommodating and attentive. Service def 5/5. Even tipped AB separately because he went above and beyond as a host by helping me decide what to order. He had good knowledge about the menu! The Dirty Chicken was some of the best FC I've ever had! I normally don't order chicken at restaurants because it often comes out dry but not here! It was perfectly fried, extra crispy and gochuchang sauce with blue cheese and pickled onions was such a surprising and delicious pairing!!! ABSOLUTE MUST TRY and would go back again for just this. The chicken was juicy and presented well. There was enough pickled onions and clue cheese and sauce to enjoy with every bite and you should def have some of each with every bite to get the full flavor experience. I also had the pork belly SSAMs. There were 4 with one slice of perfectly cooked crispy and juicy slice of pork belly with kimchi cucumbers and daikon underneath served on butter leaf lettuce leaves. They came with a citron tea BBQ sauce to drizzle over the pork belly and again...surprised at the flavor combination! Very, very delicious. It got kind of messy eating them as wraps so after the second one just ate with a fork instead. Another dish that requires you to get a little bit of everything in every bite to appreciate the creative fusion of flavors. The Riesling was a good pairing for those entrees/starters. I ordered the Sweet Potato Pie stuffed crispy waffle to go since it was closing time (and I was pretty full) by the time I got to dessert and omg did that hit when I tried it back at the hotel. The waffle was still perfectly crispy and an ASMR dream! The stuffed waffle wasn't very sweet at all but you had the option of dipping in the caramel sauce, syrup and whipped cream to customize your sweetness level. By far one of the best desserts I've had in a restaurant! If I ever come back it would def be for the Dirty Chicken and this dessert!

I don't eat beef or pork, but after watching a review from Peaks100, I saw that the manager also recommended the seafood along with the steaks. My wife eats steak, so I took her there for that, and I planned to order seafood. Spoiler alert: my wife enjoyed her steak. Now that I got that out of the way, let me continue. https://youtu.be/5uPuX7Fk_cE?si=H7NI2vI_uMWAeREq Appetizer Octopus Ceviche -- $18 I told our server that I didn't want any pork on it. She seemed surprised and told me it didn't come with pork. I had already looked up "pancetta crumble" and knew pancetta was pork, so I showed her the menu. She then said she knew what pancetta was and would make sure there was no pork on my plate. The ceviche itself didn't have much flavor. I didn't really enjoy it, but it wasn't bad enough for me to complain or send it back. Dinner Housemade "Parkerhouse" Rolls -- $8 These came out fresh and hot with butter. They were good. No complaints. Chef's Fresh Catch -- $50 The fresh catch was grouper. The fish had some salt on it and a nice char, but the heavy cream-based sauce on the plate didn't have much flavor. Again, I didn't really enjoy it, but not enough to complain or return the dish. Jumbo Lump Crab Oscar -- $28 Wow, this was not good at all. I probably should have sent it back, but I didn't. It was tough and rubbery (see pic), almost like it had been left under the broiler too long. I took it home with me, but I honestly will probably end up throwing it away. Sides Crispy Brussels Sprouts -- $13 These were good, but somewhat oily. Yukon Gold Potato Purée -- $12 They were okay. Nothing to write home about. Dessert Coconut Cream Bread Pudding -- $14 It was just okay. The coconut flakes was too much, in my opinion, and eventually became overwhelming. It didn't feel very balanced. Overall, I felt the service could have been better, and most of the food needed more flavor, especially at this price point. Nothing was so terrible that I felt the need to ask for a manager, but I also didn't enjoy most of what I ordered. I ordered it, so I paid for it and kept it moving. Also, a 25% gratuity was already added to the bill. Maybe that is why the service was lacking, because they already knew they were going to get 25% "allegedly". Honestly, I don't think I'll be back. There are too many other good places in the DMV where you can have better food and a better overall experience for the same price or less.

About seven minutes later, someone finally came by to offer us water and explained that our server was busy, but she would help us in the meantime. No problem. We ordered the Avo Goddess Salad and asked that it be split so we could share it. A few minutes later, our server arrived, introduced herself, and we let her know we had already ordered the salad and were ready to place our lunch orders. She was very helpful in guiding my wife toward the Old Bay Shrimp Burger. I was excited to order the Shrimp and Grits until I learned it contained Andouille sausage and, according to our server, couldn't be prepared without it. Since the restaurant highlights that everything is made from scratch, that surprised me. I ended up ordering the Ahi Tuna Salad instead. So far, so good. Then came the frustration. We spent the next 20 minutes slowly picking at our salad, growing increasingly hungry and confused. You know something is wrong when guests who were seated after you begin receiving their meals before you. Finally, at 2:10 p.m., our food arrived: my Ahi Tuna Salad and a Pulled Lamb Sandwich for my wife. Except my wife had ordered the Shrimp Burger. When we pointed out the mistake to what was now our third server, she quickly assured us it would be corrected. A few minutes later, our original server returned and took full responsibility. She explained that the lamb and shrimp items are next to each other in the POS system and she accidentally selected the wrong item. She assured us the Shrimp Burger would be out in two minutes and suggested we enjoy the fries that came with the lamb sandwich while we waited. Unfortunately, another ten minutes passed before the burger finally arrived. Here's where things became truly disappointing: the top bun was still cold--almost frozen. My wife ended up removing it entirely and eating the sandwich with just the bottom bun. At best, the Shrimp Burger was decent, but certainly not worth the wait and frustration. As for my Ahi Tuna Salad, it felt like something I could easily make at home, especially considering the $25 price tag. I'm also not entirely convinced the tuna was particularly fresh. I can't bring myself to give Matt and Tony's one star because the atmosphere is genuinely cool and inviting. So I settled on two stars--mostly for how I felt before the experience unraveled. And listen, I get it. Mistakes happen. We're all human. But as someone who eats out frequently, here's one piece of advice: when a restaurant makes a significant mistake with a customer's order, consider taking that item off the bill. Sometimes that gesture is the only reason a guest decides to come back.

I've been here SO many times and have always enjoyed it, but tonight was just a total…read moredisappointment. We arrived early for our 6:45 reservation and were seated accordingly, and our server was quick to come over, so it felt like we were off to a great start. Unfortunately, that didn't last very long. A second server eventually had to come over to take our drink order, and then it was another ten minutes before we even got our waters. Our appetizer took a while as well. They were nice enough to bring us more bread, but otherwise, it felt like our server(s)--I'm honestly not sure if the second person was actually assigned to our table--were MIA for most of the night. Our food took forever to come out, and to make matters worse, there was a screaming baby in the booth behind us for a good portion of the meal. Somehow, the table with the screaming baby, who was seated after us, managed to finish their entire meal before we did. The food itself was great, which is why I'm keeping this at two stars rather than one, but the overall experience was a total bust. The bathroom was a mess, and the A/C was clearly not working, so the ambiance was pretty terrible on top of everything else. We would have ordered more drinks and dessert if the service had been better, but it genuinely felt like they forgot about us. And it wasn't just our table--another customer came up and mentioned that they had been waiting about 15 minutes for their drinks. At that rate, what was even the point of making a reservation if we were going to be treated like an afterthought? Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
