Can't ever get enough Gingers! They have absolutely mastered how to make healthy food taste delicious! I live about 35 minutes away but I love it so much that I usually go once a week to get my healthy fix. I always go with the intention of trying something new, but I just love my usual order so much that I can't try anything new. My usual is the Veggie Sandwich, Buddha Bowl, and ABC (Apple, Carrot, Beet) Juice, and of course a cookie! They have a great oatmeal, coconut, chocolate chip cookie. My husband loves the Turkey Avocado Club. They have great soups and I usually have to throw one of those into our order too. I just don't think you can go wrong with whatever you order. I will say that often when I get a to-go order it is missing an item or they accidentally give me someone else's order. So always check before you leave! I've never had that problem when dining in. I'm sorry to rate this bad. I don't rate bad normally. The smoothies were $9 each and terrible, one was so bad it made me feel sick hours after (the peach one), and hers was a solid 2/10. The sandwich was 12 or 13$ and not worth it. I would have gotten more for my money at Jersey Mike's or chick filet. We come here pretty often as it's my partner's favorite restaurant in the area for a quick bite. We are vegan so we like having close options to where we visit. I love coming here as well although I don't love everything on the menu and it often takes a long time to get your food. This is my favorite restaurant anywhere! We have gluten free and vegan dietary restrictions (as well as picky kids) to deal with and Ginger's always gives us actual choices and filling meals; which is rare! Their food is fresh, their tomatoes are red and their lettuce is green (as opposed to pale pink and that whitish color that looks green if you squint your eyes). I leave there feeling like I have eaten real food. Their service is quick and consistently nice and the atmosphere in the restaurant is casual, but really appealing. Their huge big windows are a beautiful place to sit, particularly on a snowy day, with gorgeous views of the mountains. Staff's Knowledge of Ingredients: 5 of 5 (they've always been able to confidently answer my questions about their food and menu) Labeling on Menu: 4 of 5 (I do think they could clear up a few questions I have on their menu, but since their staff is knowledgeable and easy to talk to, this isn't too big of a deal) Number of Options: 5 of 5 (A menu where a Gluten Free Vegan has more than one choice? Yes please!) Quality of Food: 5 of 5 (I've never had a dish I didn't like here.) Gluten Free: most of their menu is gluten free, although they recently added a gluten option that is cooked in their fryer so I can no longer get the falafel salad (which is sad because that was super good) for fear of cross contamination. They have two gluten free bread options so all the sandwiches are available gluten free and the servers don't ask me awkward questions about my health history, they just help me get food I can safely eat. Vegan: most of their menu is vegan. They make vegan cheese sauces and vegan ranch that are the standard on their dishes (I don't think they even have dairy based cheeses/dips...but not totally sure of that). One of our favorite dishes is the nachos. The cheese sauce is delicious and they come loaded with beautiful veggies, beans, avocados, etc. Ginger's does have a couple of chicken dishes, but they're the minority. Gluten Free AND Vegan: Choices! Even the gluten free breads are vegan so most of the sandwiches are a possibility, they have great salads, filling smoothies, awesome nachos, and more. read more

The Cookie Butter Chocolate cake was one of the best vegan cakes I have ever tasted (possibly THE BEST). I love Ginger's. I crave their food, and I don't get to eat it nearly as often as I'd like. Previously working in Utah County for several years, I began my love affair with Ginger's as soon as they opened. It's been through many changes throughout the years, most of them positive, IMHO. As prominently noted on the window advertising, they are located inside Christopher's Herb Shoppe on Main Street. Not hard to find, easy to park and get into. It gets really busy at lunchtime, and tables here are very limited, so worst case...get it to go! Great organic food, especially the soups. The sandwiches are packed with super fresh organic veggies, and you can opt for meat or no meat varieties. I love that they use Veganaise rather than mayo. The same super fresh organic veggies come standard on all of their house-made salads, which are so tasty. If you're lucky enough to hit Ginger's on the right day, you may even get to try the corn muffins and other specialty items that the chef makes ad hoc. They aren't listed on the menu last I knew. During the colder months, they also make a great vegan chili. Do not miss the bottles of Lavendar Lemonade they sell. Sounds a little strange, but it's absolutely divine! My fifth star is held back because, in order to eat here at all regularly, you will have to mortgage your house or sell a few of your kids on ebay. It's Pricey with a capital P. I realize the fresh food sourcing means paying more for the non-Sysco-type items. I get it. I do. But in my fantasy, you'd be able to eat here without the severe impact on your bank account. Ginger's Garden Cafe is both a small organic/herb shop and (mostly) vegan cafe. I say mostly because they have the occasional menu item with meat. This is actually more odd than anything. Why, you ask? Because you can get a Pesto TURKEY Melt, but while the turkey is real the cheese is vegan cheese. I think we can all agree that vegan cheese is just not the same... Now, I didn't go for the melt. I had the BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Even though I'm poking fun at the cheese on other dishes, I absolutely loved my BBQ Chicken Sandwich. The meat was organic, the veggies fresh, and the sauce locally made. It was a bit on the expensive side for what you got (that's organic for ya!), but altogether worth the visit! I challenge you to eat a BBQ Chicken Sandwich at your average diner and not leave feeling uncomfortably stuffed with greasy food. At Ginger's, the food is fresh, not greasy, and leaves you feeling quite satisfied with your meal. Service was fast & friendly, the atmosphere cozy, and, as mentioned earlier, the price was just alright. To be perfectly honest, not all the menu items sounded that great to me. I love bacon, but when you call it "facon" I am justifiably concerned. I didn't realize the gem I was stepping into when I went to Ginger's for dinner. When I first walked in I felt like I was in a store but a restaurant but a store, I was confused. Luckily there was a giant board in front of me with the options. I was a bit perplexed by the use of vegan cheese on a turkey sandwich, what is the point, turkey is obviously not vegan. At least the last time I checked. If I had one recommendation then it would be to use organic cheese on the meat sandwiches, not vegan. I had the veggie wrap, which was amazing. Not only was it stuffed with lot of veg, it had some great sauce in it that brought all of it together nicely. The best part is, it is huge I ate the leftovers for the next two days it was still yummy. I think the best part of eating at Ginger's is that you leave feeling satisfied and healthy, not like you just ate crap. Found this restaurant on Yelp and had to try it immediately. I had no idea there was a Vegan restaurant so near to me! The atmosphere is inviting and upon entering it is easy to see there are plenty of choices for every dietary restriction. I wanted to try everything, but I started with the Vegan nachos. My kids each ordered a kids meal, which came with a decent sized kids portion entree, carrot sticks with vegan ranch, a container of fresh juice and a small sucker. Considering I pay around $2-3 bucks for fresh juice, at $6 for the meal, it was a good value. My daughter ordered a turkey sandwich, which features free-range turkey, veganaise, and lettuce on a whole wheat bun. I had a bite and it was delicious. My son ordered the chick'n nuggets, and it was as expected. He was given about 6 nuggets and they were crispy and pretty good, too. The other person I was with ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich, and he raved about it the entire time. There was a man playing guitar, so we got a live show as well. Gingers Garden Cafe One of my favorite non-guilty lunch places! A fun, natural garden restaurant. You order at the register and can sit on their window bar seating or on tables under a gazebo with plants all around you. They have a hooked on small shopping area where you can buy ginger candies, essential oils and blends, different herbs and vitamins, Jewlery, and other healthy treats. Recently they changed to Kombucha juice on tap but they always have hibicus water and regular water for free. Some of my favorite menu items include the Turkey Sandwich, Apple Beet Salad, Avacado Toast, and their LAVENDAR lemonade! The lavendar lemonade is my all time favorite thing at Gingers. Every year during my birthday my husband loads me up with the lemonade. They have a half and half combo where you can try a sandwhich/soup and a salad. So much food! This is some the healthiest best tasting food I have ate in a long time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Initially when I walked in, I thought this place was going to be way too hippie for me, and I was worried the food would be overrated. The place kinda smelt like a funeral home. The water + complimentary tea was a nice thought , but was warm. HOWEVER, the veggie wrap I got was amazing! So fresh, so good. The quality of each ingredient was far above surrounding "salad/sandwich" type restaurants. I also got the mandarin chicken salad, which was really yummy, except the chicken was pretty dry. My date got the turkey avo club which was also fantastic. For the quality you get, the price is irrelevant. You just don't get this many places guys! Try it out for yourself!
