The place was semi empty but the decor was beautiful very traditional Asian designs and art work. The staff and family that runs this business are very kind and knowledgeable. They offer many types of Asian dishes. (Japanese, Thai not just Chinese) Other than the surprise mushrooms (just not a fan personally so I took them out) it was delicious! Great place for 2 or a large party as they have plenty of seating.

It's been 10 years since I left lancaster and havent had this place, but coming back reminded me of the good old days of running around Manor shopping center after a movie and having a good dinner. I had General Tso's chicken, crab Rangoon, a sweet potato roll, and a crispy spider roll. It was delicious--all fresh, hot, and tasty. The place is always clean, and the staff is friendly.

Food is pretty good. I am picky with Asian food, and the food here is very favorable. The seafood Udon is full of delicious shrimps, veggies, scallops, and udons. The soup is delicious. The Singapore mei fun has perfect curry seasoning. The Hunan Chicken and sushi roll are also delicious. Highly recommended!

We came here thinking of getting Japanese food but this is actually more of a Chinese restaurant with Japanese options. The place itself is pretty spacious and there is plenty of parking. It's also BYOY which is always a plus. The service was great as they were short staffed but very attentive to everyone. We ordered sushi (the bridge), lo mein for the kids, and some sushi rice box. The sushi was okay, it wasn't great quality but it was okay. But honestly, you cant beat the price for what you get in terms of sushi. The lo mein was good and the kids enjoyed it.

I have not been to Ginmiya in several years due to a bad customer service experience in the past but today, being in the area, stopped in for lunch. Upon entrance I was quickly seated. Water was promptly served and my order was taken shortly thereafter. Kung Pao Chicken with Vegetable Fried Rice, and I asked for "extra spicy" as I always do. The lunch special also included choice of soup or egg roll; I chose Hot and Sour Soup. The Hot and Sour Soup was decent, slightly above average. The Kung Pao Chicken was chock full of celery, mushrooms and peanuts and actually spicy, to my liking. The portion was filling and at $6.40 it is a great value. I saw another patron being served the tempura lunch and it looked very appetizing-a mound of vegatables and shrimp served with dipping sauce and white rice. Today's experience greatly surpassed what I experienced a few years ago. I will return to try the tempura I saw today.

When I first walked in the aromas were enticing and I was pretty much committed at that point. I ended up order the multi-meat rice bowl that came with pork, chicken and beef I believe. The sauces were nice and the black garlic was pungent but not too overpowering. Overall I was very pleased with the dish aside from one piece of protein that I wasn't able to identify. It was very hard and spongey. I wasn't able to sink my teeth into it but it gave off the earthy flavor that I sometimes associate with tripe. It seemed to be in there by mistake and so I put it to the side and tried not to think about it. Everything else was good and I appreciated the quick service and served-to-order freshness.

The aroma of sizzling meats and savory delights danced through the air like a minstrel's song upon a spring breeze. Golden crab rangoon, tender meats, steaming rice, and dishes beyond count stretched before me like the treasure halls of a mighty king. Each bite was a triumph. The food was prepared with such care that one could believe the royal chefs themselves had descended from their castle kitchens to labor in this establishment. The staff moved with the grace and swiftness of loyal knights, ever attentive and kind. Truly, for a moment, I believed I had discovered paradise upon this mortal realm. Alas, every grand tale bears its dragon. When nature called, I journeyed into the restroom expecting only a brief respite. Instead, I stumbled upon a scene fit for the darkest chapters of medieval history. It was as though a great siege had taken place within those walls. The battlefield lay scattered with unspeakable horrors--pee and poop strewn across the land as if rival kingdoms had waged war and abandoned all honor. I stood frozen, a lone knight gazing upon the ruins of civilization itself. The feast had been worthy of legends, yet the restroom was a tragedy that would make bards weep and scribes record with heavy hearts. Dragon Hibachi and Buffet serves food fit for royalty, but the kingdom must reclaim and restore its lavatories if it wishes to remain a true castle of dining.

While the broth and noodles didn't necessarily stand out compared to some of the many ramen shops I've tried, everything was well prepared and the ingredients tasted fresh. They could have been a bit more attentive throughout the meal, but nothing that took away from the experience The restaurant has a classic ramen bar setup with a clean, inviting atmosphere. Dinner for my party of three which is characteristically occurring either at 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm…read more(pending all three's physical presence together) we dined here on Independence Day 2026. Surprisingly Yi Pin is open and fully operational on a major federal holiday. The air conditioning is rather weak during our dining experience as I felt warm during the Northeast heat wave oppressive humidity continuous week. Condiments issued at the table were aged dark vinegar, green tea but not Matcha was complimentary served. My party only use aged dark vinegar as a condiment for dumplings. We have a predilection for mellow, malty sweetness of dark vinegar rather than the high salt content in soy sauce. Customer service is attentive and staff is fluent in Mandarin and English. Yi Pin is a Chinese restaurant that serves regional cuisine of Shanghainese and Szechuan province. It is what my party of three refer non-Cantonese, Guangdong province 外省人 ngoi6 saang2 jan4 (noun) outside province; foreign person. Ergo, staff does not speak Cantonese - neither rudimentary level. Price is extortionate high, but expected in 2026 stagflation era. I was able to obtain the sales receipt as keepsake. Asian melon hard candy is distributed with the bill upon meal completion which is industry standard for Asian restaurants and cafes. At the bottom of the sales receipt there is a suggested gratuity in intervals of 18%, 20% and 22% where customers do not have to perform math calculation. There is one large beautiful Japanese beckoning cat, (maneki-neko) which adjacent to the cash register. Business cards are available for grabs. There is a customer parking lot available. Beef noodle soup $15.95 The soup broth bubbles are very visible for the high level of cholesterol and fat content. I believe the cook or kitchen staff used and implemented MSG. This was a big setback leading to disappointment for my three Yelp stars. La mian wheat based noodles were embedded and sufficient. I enjoyed the La mian wheat noodles. Lo Mein chicken $12.95 It was stirred fried and abundant for excessive quantity. I did not consume any - neither one bite. It seemingly appeared very high grease and fat content for excessive oil. Shanghainese soup dumplings 6 pieces, $10.95 Pork steam soup dumplings siu2 lung4 baau1, 小籠包 tasted average, but not exuberant great to awaken my soul for sprightly liveliness. There were very minimal soup liquid inside the dumpling upon biting. I did ponder with hope and wonder during our wait for our food order arrival that these soup dumplings would be bursting with excessive soup liquid and flavor. It was not served piping hot as I am accustomed in NYC Shanghainese restaurant industry standards. These dumplings prepared by the cook(s) or kitchen staff at Yi Pin are egregiously appalling and insult to New York Chinese. I refused to apologize for being a native New Yorker. The dumpling skin tip where placing the serving tongs also tasted hard. Also another reason for my three Yelp stars.

It was pretty busy on Saturday when we went for dinner but we didn't have to wait too long and our food actually came out pretty fast. The service was as expected because it looked like 1 guy was serving all tables and he was literally running between table to table. I don't blame him for any waiting because he was busting his butt and we didn't really need to wait too long. We ordered a variety of dishes coming here but my favorite has to be the Homestyle Tofu or the Fish Filet. I would like to try more dishes next time. They give you quite a good amount of food for the price. Some places charge the same and give you much less. This place has authentic Chinese food with some common favorites that many of us also know (chicken with broccoli, lo mein, general tso's etc.) so there is something for everyone. There are vegetarian dishes available as well. If you're in the area and would like more savory, authentic Chinese food I recommend coming here!
