    Teriyaki chicken

Really big portion sizes and great service!! Def recommend coming here after Hershey park, esp on the a chilly day -their steaming soups will heat you right up! The teriyaki chicken had A LOT of chicken but the flavor was just average. They also give you some wontons and sauce though before your food arrives to munch on while you're waiting which was really yummy!

Sushi was amazing!! I had the coconut shrimp roll, wasabi tuna roll, and spicy yellowtail roll. Very good...... Food took a little long to get with only one other table here besides us but it was worth the wait.

Unfortunately, Wasabi Bistró was having an off night. Normally we don't wait long for our food, but it took almost 30 mins and we were one of three tables there. The short staffing is still affecting restaurants. Our waitress was very attentive though, she refilled our drinks as soon as they were low. Spicy crab could have been a bit more flavorful with more spicy mayo but overall, solid sushi.

One of my favorite lunch spots in the area! I usually stop in for lunch during the week and have never had a wait. They also have a decent sized parking lot in front of the restaurant. The lunch menu has lots of options that are all delicious! One of my go to orders is the three sushi option on the lunch menu. Their sweet potato roll is one of my favorites. The eel cucumber is also delicious. And the salmon avocado that I got was also great! Plus the sushi comes with the option of miso soup or a salad. Their udon is also good and very reasonably priced. The service is consistently fast which is appreciated. The staff are not overly conversational but that is fine with me. The ambience is nice and they even had a Christmas tree up during the holiday season. Overall a great spot for sushi!

Surprisingly good sushi and sashimi! Portions were just right and the fish quality was really good. The waitress had a photographic memory and didn't write anything down. I'm still surprised! And she got everything right! The only thing holding this back from five stars is the light over the table kept flickering and the smell from the nearby bathroom would sometimes waft over toward our table.

Randomly stumbled upon this place based off the lunch special and really can't beat the pricing.. $11.95 for 3 rolls and a ginger salad. Not the best sushi I've had but also didn't try their fancy speciality rolls. The classics I had were good and fulfilled my craving. Would be curious to try the others

There are two of these in the area, we weren't quite sure which one to hit, so we opted for the one closer to our hotel in Hershey. We arrived just as they were opening at 11:00 am for lunch. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the bartender and the server. They were the only two working up front, but it was fine; our entire time there, only one other table came in (this was on a Friday). The inside was nice, and we were seated by a fire. The only gripe I have is that the chairs seemed to be the wrong size/height for the tables. But other than that, the place looked good. My wife ordered a beer flight with an assortment of sours and a wheat. I went for the Annville IPA Bold Cask. It was a really, really good beer. Smooth, fully-bodied, and with a good amount of hops. Plus, it's 9.8%, so if you ask me, that's a great way to start off a lunch! The beer flight was decent, but more my wife's thing. Now onto the food. There were a lot of great choices, and we were starving, so of course, everything looked good. We always order for our six-year-old first so they can eat while we relax. We ordered him the hot dog and tots. For our apps, we ordered the Tator Tot Nachos: house cheese sauce, fresh pico, scallions, jalapenos, cilantro lime sour cream, and chicken. And also the smoked wings with hot sauce. I'm always a fan of tator tots, maybe it's because I never had them as a kid, or they really are that good. But these were perfect on a cold day in central PA when you're hungry. The right amount of salt on the tots, crispy exterior and creamy inside, plus the toppings (I love fresh jalapeño). The wings were okay, but this was to be expected. They're smoked, and as much as I love smoked food, you never get the skin crispy (especially on wings). They had a slight smoke flavor and a good sauce, but I'm a "well done" wing guy, so these I would pass on next time. By the time we were going to order lunch, my wife realized she was already full, and we still had a decent amount of food left. So she just picked at the appetizers. I was getting there myself, but I wanted to try a burger. I ordered the Pub Burger: 8 oz, Cooper Sharp, red pepper-bacon jam, dill pickle aioli, lettuce, brioche, and fries (because who can resist more fried potatoes). It came out perfectly medium rare as I ordered and seasoned well. I was apprehensive about the red pepper-bacon jam; I'm not a fan of sweet, but in this case, it worked. It was a great burger (although I only ate a quarter of it). The service was good, and she was very personable and polite. But one thing that was strange. She was on the phone almost the entire time we were there with whom she said was the owner (or maybe a manager). We heard her discussing the reservations and large parties coming in. This was a long call, and while I know there wasn't a lot going on in the restaurant, we felt at times we needed something, and she was busy talking. I'm not blaming her; if it were the owner or manager, they should certainly know better and keep it short. But when she was there, she was great. All in all, a great recommendation from a friend that we are happy we stopped to try. We will be back again, maybe sooner than our annual trip to Hershey!

We've eaten here a few times before and have always had great meals, so we wanted to bring our friends to experience this hidden gem. I made a 5:00 p.m. reservation, and we arrived right on time. We were seated a few minutes early, which was a nice start to the evening. Our server greeted us promptly with water and then returned to take our drink order. My wife ordered the Dragon Fruit cocktail, I had the Rye Old Fashioned, and our friends enjoyed the Watermelon Refresher and the Black Walnut Old Fashioned. For dinner, our friends ordered the salmon and the burger with fries. My wife and I shared the Green Goddess Salad and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. When our meals arrived, everything looked absolutely amazing. We all dug in, and every dish lived up to the presentation. Our friends said the salmon was fabulous, and the burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Green Goddess Salad was fresh and delicious, but the star of the evening was definitely the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. They were incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and simply OMG good! Even though we were all full, we couldn't pass up dessert. We shared the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the drinks and food to the friendly service and atmosphere, Hidden Still Spirits continues to impress us. We're glad we brought our friends here, and they were just as impressed as we have been on our previous visits. We'll definitely be back again!

I thought this was an ideal spot, so off we went. Iberian Lounge is located on the second floor of the hotel, off the fountain lobby across from Trevi 5. The space is kinda large for a lounge - they have a mixture of tables with soft furniture, a couple of couches, and stools at the bar. The decor has a somewhat Spanish theme (hence the name), and it matches the former hotel lobby it sits off of. In addition to the obligatory drinks, the lounge also serves food. We were gonna eat later, though, so we opted to just have the former. I was in Hershey so I wanted to try one of their signature drinks so I went with their Hershey's Kiss Signature Martini. This kinda blew my mind if I'm being honest - the drink was clear like a martini but it tasted so much like a Hershey's Kiss - my mind couldn't comprehend this as i consumed the delicious sips. Service was great, everyone was friendly and our drinks came out promptly. Overall, I had a great experience at Iberian Lounge - the drinks were fun, and the atmosphere was comfortable. This is an ideal place to chill while at Hotel Hershey.

The atmosphere was fun, utilizing retired ride vehicles as booths and playing into the park setting. As expected in Hershey, the menu explored how chocolate can be integrated into a very American menu. I enjoyed the pulled pork grilled cheese: the chocolate barbecue sauce reminded me of a lighter molasses-based sauce so it worked with the barbecue. We had the Ferris Wheel appetizer which was mostly a win, but the items could have shown up on a TGI Friday's menu. The next day, to escape the millions of middle schoolers in the park (I have a whole travelogue brewing for that) we came back because I wanted one of their gigantic milkshakes. The Reese's peanut butter shake was peanut butter to the Nth degree, and it was topped by an entire slice of peanut butter pie. My friend got a stomachache but I love anything peanut butter so this was a win for me. Both times the service was really good. One thing I definitely like better now is that they take reservations, and I would highly recommend making one. Otherwise, you could be looking at a pretty long wait. Our service was excellent. Our waitress did a great job taking care of us and managed to make sure our drinks were never empty, which is basically the restaurant equivalent of having a personal pit crew. One thing we discovered on the appetizer menu is the half-moon mozzarella. They're listed as part of the larger "Ferris Wheel" appetizer, but we asked if we could order them separately and were told yes. You get four for $15, and they were actually quite good. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was more average. I ordered the short ribs with mashed potatoes. The meat was tender, but it was also somewhat fatty and didn't have much flavor. My wife and son both ordered burgers, which were OK but nothing particularly memorable. They do offer gluten-free buns, which was a nice bonus and definitely appreciated. Since we were attending a concert, the location was extremely convenient and made grabbing dinner beforehand an easy choice. However, convenience comes at a price here. You're paying a pretty penny for food that, at least during our visit, was just average. Overall, the service was excellent, the mozzarella was good, and the convenience can't be beat if you're attending an event. But at these prices, I was hoping the food would be more of a standout.

Even on a weeknight, the restaurant was adequately packed, so I would strongly recommend making a reservation if you're planning to dine here. A few things to know before you go: Popular restaurant that can be quite busy, even during the work week. Reservations are a good idea, especially during dinner hours. There is a small parking lot surrounding the restaurant, as well as street parking. Both were full when I arrived. There is a free parking garage across the street behind the storefronts, which ended up being the easiest parking option. For drinks, I ordered the Peach Sangria, and it was excellent. Refreshing, flavorful, and not overly sweet, it paired nicely with dinner and was one of the highlights of the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the: Chicken Marsala Sautéed chicken breast with mushrooms in a marsala wine sauce served over house-made linguini or mashed potatoes & asparagus. Unfortunately, this dish didn't quite meet my expectations. The Marsala sauce itself was decent, but by the time the meal arrived, the linguini was somewhat cold. As a result, the noodles had begun to harden and stick together, which affected the overall experience. Considering the price point, I didn't feel the dish offered good value, and it's not something I would order again. That said, the restaurant's popularity, lively atmosphere, and excellent sangria make me interested in returning. I'd be curious to try some of the other menu offerings on a future visit, as there were several dishes that looked appealing. Overall, while my entrée was disappointing, the atmosphere and drink selection were enough that I'd be willing to give Chocolate Avenue Grill another chance.

The place has a very casual, come-as-you-are bar-and-kitchen vibe, which fits the area well. Nothing felt overly polished or fancy, and that is not a criticism. It seemed like the kind of local spot where people can just show up, relax, and get a solid meal. The problem was the service on this visit. We showed up right around the breakfast-to-lunch transition and thought we had made it in time for breakfast, but apparently not. We got seated pretty quickly, which made it seem like things were moving along, but then we sat there for about 20 minutes with water glasses and no water, and really no meaningful attention at all. By the time someone finally came over with the water, we were already done and decided to head somewhere else down the street. It was also getting fairly loud while we were sitting there, and the staff seemed tired or stretched thin, so I would not be surprised if we caught the place at a bad moment, maybe during a shift change or just an awkward transition between breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was busy, which usually says something good, and the food we saw going to other tables looked pretty solid. That is why I landed on 3 out of 5. This was not a bad experience in the usual sense. It was more of a non-experience. We never got far enough to judge the food, and I do not think it would be fair to hammer the place over one oddly timed visit. But sitting that long without even getting water was enough for us to leave.
