We are hooked. We asked someone in Buellton, where to get a good pizza and this definitely made its Mark. We ordered the Gino's special pizza and the small antipasto. Now we keep wanting to go back for more. The crust is very delicious and the Gena's special has everything they have on it. The sizes are what are deceptive. The size small we ordered for the two of us is more like a normal size medium elsewhere. The anti-pasta was different in the fact that everything is chopped up in it, but it actually makes it better. Their Italian dressing is so tasty on it. they also have two other locations, one in Pismo Beach, one in San Luis Obispo, and then the one we went to in Buellton. Was really looking forward to trying a new pizza place on this trip. We have been enjoying the Central Coast for more than 40 years and are really trying to enjoy some new places to eat this time. So...we looked at Yelp and decided on Gino's Pizza. We ordered a large pizza - half BBQ Chicken and half Cheeseburger Pizza - since we were looking for something different. When we arrived at our AirBnB (about 10 minutes away), the pizza was still nice and hot. Opening the box, the pizza looked and smelled great and we dug in. The cheeseburger pizza had an interesting flavor right away - I mean - bacon!! But, by the 3rd bite, I felt like I was ingesting grease and salt but nothing else. Setting this slice aside, I tried the BBQ Chicken. This one was much better and not as salty or greasy. I think the cheddar cheese on the cheeseburger pizza is the culprit for it being so greasy. The BBQ chicken was more fresh tasting and pretty good in general. The salad was crisp and fresh and we all enjoying having it to counteract al the grease! So...pretty good pizza. Good, fast service. Fair price for what you get and a good tasing BBQ chicken pizza and salad. Skip the cheeseburger pizza unless you really feel like your stomach can handle it. read more

We visited Oceano this past weekend and when we got there Friday afternoon we needed a fast meal to feed everyone. Luckily the air bnb that we got had a list of local foods to get from. Ginos Pizza was one of the first ones. We had to order through door dash for delivery, apparently they were short staffed, but not a big deal. Now as someone who personally eats pizza once a week, I know I love pizza, I am a huge critic when it comes to pizzerias. Ginos did not disappoint...we ordered four large pizzas, one Ginos Delight, an All meat, and two pepperoni's. We also added some bread sticks and cheese sticks. For the amount of food the price was worth it, and the pizza was amazing. A little greasy, but hey it's pizza. Toppings were plentiful, sauce tasted great.
