No one spoke good English so they didn't understand the party we were with and who was paying. No clear instructions. Place was clean but food from buffet was cold. Eventually Got drinks but no straw. Large selection of food. Hibachi cook was nice but food was salty. Staff was not nice and it may be due to language barrier. Not a place we will come back to.

Another favorite of ours is the Manila clams man they're very tasty

Was asked do i feel i get my moneys worth for the price. I answer by all means, price break down snow crab in the store 2 pound box 19.95 chicken wings 10 are around 12.95 sushi is usually 8.95 for 4 to 6 pieces, so if you add up what and a.ount you eat you will see its a fair price

Beautiful new location opening. Very clean and well kept even through the busiest hours. Fast moving and friendly service. Great options on the buffet. All seafood is available after 4 PM and the weekends only. The sushi bar was amazing, tips are optional at the end of the bar. Great flavor, lots of soup options. Love the dumpling options and bao buns!

For $18.99, this buffet has great value, we went on Saturday night, they were busy and food comes out fast. They have Sushi, hibachi, all kinds of seafood, Asian can drinks, and most importantly Crab legs. The crab legs was good in quality, sushi was ok ( just don't get that Wasabi roll, that just look scary), all the other food tasted great. The place mostly clean. If it wasn't the low price I will give it three stars. If I am in the area will go back, but I won't go out of my way to eat here. Again great value.

I was excited to try this new buffet that serves hibachi, sushi, and seafood. The price point is different for lunch vs dinner. There is also various prices for children over the age of 1. We were taken to our table and drink orders were taken; then we were able to go get food. Honestly, I was disappointed with my food experience here. I came for crab legs, sushi, and hibachi. They have a wide variety of food options but none of them were quality. The sushi is all served cold (even the tempura). The crab legs were overcooked to the point that the meat was difficult to get out the shell. Which ended up being a lot of cracking but hardly getting anything. The hibachi was decent depending on the staff who cooked it. My main issue with the hibachi was the set up. The meat, rice, noodles, veggies etc are all out but there isn't protocol on how you put it on the plate. I can just see cross contamination incident happening. The decor beautiful and vibe is decent. If they focused on food quality more this could be a good spot.

Ginza Buffet is the new it girl in Gastonia. Everyone is rushing to try this Chinese AYCE buffet under new management with a new makeover. While waiting the couple next me drove 1:30 because they saw them advertised on Facebook! There are a lot of areas they can improve in from start to finish. We got there at 5pm. We were quoted a 2-3 hour wait time. Our party of 6 was seated in 27 minutes. The pager system is currently post it notes with numbers written on them. The host staff gives you a post it, writes down the size of your party and the number. Then the host staff calls out the numbers when the table is ready. People are crowded in the walkway and entrance. When taken to your seat, the host takes you with plastic forks (for you to eat with) and ask you what you want to drink. They ask how many in your party and write your ticket. My whole party wasn't there and I asked to wait for my whole party to arrive before we gave our drink order. The hostess kept asking and pressing the issue. I finally said it and she got the point and left saying our server would finish. There are no menus. My sister said we would all have water but asked our server if the kids meal came with a drink. The server said yes. So my niece got a Dr. Pepper. This is important because at the end of the meal we were charged for the drink and when asking the server about the drink he suddenly didn't understand. There was a language disconnect and another customer who spoke mandarin tried to come assist. It was kinda embarrassing because the server was getting loud with us but my sister was just trying to understand how she was charged for a drink when the server said the children meal came with a drink. A few other issues I observed that are definitely health risk are sushi that was prepared and sitting out on a cart uncovered and that looked like it wasn't on any ice or refrigeration. Then while standing in line for my Hibachi the cook saw a plate of white rice that had been left on top of the counter in front of the grills. He took the rice and added it back to the rice container on the raw food line that you grab for the Hibachi. So yes Ginza is well decorated and has all the bells and whistles (AYCE sushi, crab leg, and crawfish) but there are loads of areas they need to improve in. Wow this is probably one of the best buffets I've ever been to. Love the fake cherry blossom trees outside of the building and inside was stunning. There were so many options, I was a bit overwhelmed and wanted to try everything. The lighting and decor is beautiful inside. Everything I tasted was delicious. My favorite was the crab legs, steamed fish, raw sashimi, and fried chicken. It was very clean and our server Greg was pleasant. I can't wait to come back and it's one of the best prices for all you can eat including crab legs.

I would have given 5 stars but some of the food on the buffet was cold, especially the Chinese options at the back. The hibachi bar was good with a lot of options. Sushi was fresh and very good, they have soy paper and seaweed options which makes me happy. Music was very diverse, I would rather hear something of the culture but it's ok. Our waiter was working so hard, kept our drinks filled up. If you do come expect a wait, they do not have a good system to seat people, you come in and they give sticky notes with numbers on them, it's hard to get in and out with so many people and hardly any seating for those waiting. Is it worth the wait, that's the question? I would come during the week, I came on a Saturday at 4.

I saw someone commented that the drinks weren't included? What if you just wanted water? Or what is the beverage situation?

Drink is additional. Water is free. Thank you.

So I'm wondering where the taste buds of the people who left positive reviews are. Because I can…read morehonestly say this is the worst pork fried rice I've ever had. I mean, it's palatable if you're hungry, but if I want to enjoy good fried rice, this isn't it. First, it's not cooked completely, so yay for eating semi-hard, raw rice. Secondly, it definitely seemed they just put the pork on top of an already half-made fried rice. I found myself using ALOT of the duck sauce and soy sauce. The rice was with the butterfly shrimp; the breading is by far one of the worst I'vehad, and to add, how does fried shrimp actually get mushy internally? I ended up throwing away the five shrimp that were left because I couldn't handle the mushy mess. I also wasn't sure the egg roll that came with my husband's order would be good, so that went in the trash as well. My husband had the General Tso's chicken and pork fried rice. We asked for it extra spicy, extra sauce, and um, the spice is a joke. He said the General Tso's was subpar, something you would eat if you were starving. We had fried cheese wontons that tasted as if they were reheated in a microwave. You know how breading, like on pizza or bread in general, gets chewy when heated in a microwave. I feel bad for having to write this review, but I don't only post negative reviews. I post honest reviews that tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly, and I can honestly say this restaurant is now on my list of places I will "NEVER GO" again. When my husband went to get the food, I'd say at least they were very nice. The restaurant itself could definitely benefit from some repairs. But if the food is of such low quality, I would definitely focus on that. So, yes, this is my honest review and opinion.

Hidden Gem Stopped…read morein after realizing the new Catawba Two Kings Casino still has limited food options. Found this spot online, open on a Sunday evening, and decided to give it a try. It was packed just after 7 PM, but I was seated immediately. Drinks hit the table within minutes -- super efficient. The menu is huge, and they carry all the Asian beers (Sapporo, Kirin, etc.), which was a nice surprise. I ordered the crab Rangoon, Thai fried rice, and the shrimp teriyaki plate. Everything came out piping hot and incredibly fresh -- you can taste the difference here. Portions were solid, flavors were on point, and nothing felt rushed or sloppy. Service is a 10/10. You can feel the family vibe -- everyone working together in harmony, smooth, friendly, and the place is clean with good energy. Highly recommend. I'll be back on the next casino run

My husband and I went here on our anniversary. Some friends had told us it was a great place so we…read morewanted to try it. It was on a Sunday at lunchtime and it wasn't busy, just one large table of about six people. The restaurant is a small but cute and clean. We sat down and we both got water and our waitress brought them right away and also brought us out some ginger soup. I ordered the Taste of Thai mixed appetizer and my husband ordered the hibachi chicken. Our food came out fairly quickly and everything was very good. The reason I am giving it one star is because after we looked at our bank statement two days later we realize that they had added on an extra $24.78 to the tip after the fact. Our total bill was $28.25. My husband left a tip of $8.75 (Over 30%) bringing our total that we paid to $37.00 but they charged us $61.78. I have added a photo of the price of our food from their website and also a screenshot of our bank app showing the $61.78 charge and the $24.78 reimbursement. The food is good, but the integrity here is not, so we will not be back.
