Working in PA this week, staying in Lancaster. This place was right next to the Hampton Inn where I am staying. Love having places I can walk to after a long day. I love Sushi but my co-worker did not want Sushi so I had checked and saw they had Hibachi and Teriyaki dishes so he agreed to go. The place is very small but the quality is great. We shared apps of Tempura Shrimp ($7.95) and Chicken Yakitori ($4.95). The Chicken was good. The Shrimp Tempura was really good. I had a couple pieces of Maguro Tuna as a app also (2 pieces per order $4.00). It was great sushi. Cut just right, light but not paper thin and very fresh tasting. My co-worker had Salmon Hibachi ($18) and liked it a lot. The entrees come with choice of Miso Soup or Salad with Ginger Dressing and White Rice as a side to the entree. Fried Rice is $1 extra. We both had the salad (I am not a Miso Soup fan). The salad was simple and the dressing tasty. I would ask them to go lighter on it next time as it was pretty heavy on the dressing. I had the Combination Hibachi ($19) which is your choice of any two of the meat options beef, chicken, shrimp or salmon. I chose beef and shrimp. It was really good. Came over a medley of sauteed sliced Mushrooms, Onions and Zucchini done on the Hibachi with the meat. I usually mainly go for Sushi but I really wanted to see what they offered as a Japanese Restaurant beyond the Sushi and they passed the test with flying colors. Looks like they have some pretty fancy Sushi Rolls if you like those. Next time I might explore the Sushi more. And there will definitely be a next time as I will be working here off and on for the next few months and staying next door read more

Offspring and I splurged with the $20 AYCE roll special. Amazingly fast coming out of kitchen despite being fairly busy. Spousal unit doesn't do sushi, so she went with shrimp hibachi. Large portion and very flavorful. She is a critic and called I'd delicious. A bit more about the rolls: over 60 to choose from. Lots of selections new to me and I eat sushi frequently. All was good. Mango in a roll was a palate stretch for us and a bit too strange. Worth a visit! read more

if you live in the area and are a Sushi fan (and i mean an actual sushi fan, non of this "I eat California rolls" nonsense) If you truly like a variety of Sushi rolls and unique flavors this is a great spot. We tried it the other night and got 5 separate rolls. Each one was great flavor and good presentation! The sushi here is hands down amazing. The sushi tastes really fresh and every bite was perfect. They have the perfect ratio of rice to fish which is hard to find around the area. One major issue to as of why I didn't give 5 stars was because the waitress was rude. My first time being there and she rushed me and my husband. She completely ignored us by avoiding eye contact. My first review on Yelp goes for Ginza! The good: food is decent. Environment is nice and clean. The bad: this is what prompt me to write this review. This is so far the worst service I've seen. I had to ask for chopsticks, plates and the little thing for soy sauce. You would think those should come with your food, but no, I had to ask for each one. Then to top it off, I got my bill before finish eating and the waitress came to check whether I was ready to pay even though it was clear we were still eating. Simply great sushi and the prices are way below their competitors In Lancaster County. I've been to 3 other sushi restaurants in the area and not often to you find chef special rolls under $10. They give you excellent service and its very peaceful inside the restaurant. If you like sushi dates you have to go here. Fyi it is BYOB, but at the same time it's I enjoy that because I've notice other Japanese restaurants in the area with full service bars seem to jack up their food prices because of the appeal of being able to serve alcohol. Amazing sushi! BYOB. All you can eat sushi on Saturday and Sunday for $19.95. The place is family oriented, small, but never has a long wait! The service is sometimes slow, but that allows for plenty of discussion and for the food to settle. The prices are low, but the quality of food is great! I love Ginza. Their sushi is my favorite in Lancaster. Hibachi is also really good. I usually don't get hibachi, but I was so happy I did. The Shrimp Hibachi was awesome. The best Japanese Food I've eaten outside New York. Fresh, and excellently prepared, very quickly. The owners and staff are like family, and very, very nice, friendly, and efficient. It's hard to believe they can stay in business without having a liquor license for even Sake, but they do because their food and prices are amazing. There is no better deal in the world of Japanese food than Ginza's Bento Box. Frankly, I think they can double the price or more, and I'd still say it's a great deal. And, every bit of any of them is so good, you'll want more than one. The only negative I can find, is actually a positive. They are so good at what they do, you will want to make sure you don't order your dinner at the same time you order your appetizer's because you'll end up having a very crowded table and a less relaxing meal. You want to enjoy the place, and people, and atmosphere as much as the food, so take your time and order slowly and separately, and you'll never want to eat anywhere else. read more

We really enjoyed dinner here last night. Very nice atmosphere. Clean, nice decor. The aged tofu was great. Nice soft yet firm with good sauce. Gyoza were done perfectly. And the sushi was excellent as well as the sushi rolls. I had the shaky dog roll and a tuna and avocado roll. I usually prefer the raw rolls but the coconut with tempura shrimp and snow crab on top intrigued me. It was excellent! So was the tuna and avocado. Very filling and light! The vegetable tempura bento box was more than my son could eat! He took half of it home. We don't live in Lancaster but will go back if we travel through! read more

Sushi here is Amazing! I am from NY and have eaten at several different sushi places and Ginza still ranks high for me. It's always really fresh and rolls are a great size. Spicy mayo is excellent. Udon noodles (stir/fry lo mein) are excellent. Not greasy at all and very flavorful! Their Chinese dishes like sweet and sour chicken is the best I've had as well. Fried rice is amazing. Ramen soup is off the hook. Service is always perfect. I can't say enough good about this place. Their presentation of sushi is a bit lacking but I'll take it over crappy food. read more

Salmon yellowtail avocado mango sushi chef appetizer special was divine. Everything we ordered tasted ultra fresh. Aside from providing everything we needed at dinner, our sever noticed we could use a hand after the meal. A summer pop up shower started as we were paying our bill. The all you can eat tag for sushi is amazing, and the sushi is really good, but I did end up getting very ill from seemingly a parasite that's commonly found in tuna. It mimicked pancreatitis and I had severe stomach pain on the right side for the next 3 days. My family ate here with me and none of them got ill, so I must have gotten a bad piece of fish somewhere along the way. I guess that's the risk you take with eating raw fish though. read more
