I had the server put the spice on the side and was glad I did. I added about half the amount she brought and it was plenty spicy enough. The entire bowl of spice would have been too much, for me. I had an unfortunate takeout experience. All around the food was made lazily and was mediocre at best. The best thing was the seasoned egg, but that alone couldn't redeem it for me. Granted, we didn't try the ramen, but we ordered enough to make 2 meals out of it and didn't have 2 meals of edible food. Gyoza ($6.95 - 4 pc) - tasted like they hadn't changed out the fryer oil and were definitely not made in house Korean Fried Chicken ($13.95 - 6 pc) - inedible, burnt, and dry. My family and I were craving ramen, so we stopped by Ginza Ramen after seeing all the rave reviews online. I'm a big Japanese food lover and have eaten my way through Japan and plenty of authentic Japanese restaurants in the U.S., so I went in with high expectations. Unfortunately, most of what we ordered wasn't good and felt far from authentic. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself was clean. Beyond that, though, there wasn't much we enjoyed. I was especially disappointed with the takoyaki ($13.90), which is usually one of my favorite Japanese snacks. The octopus inside was extremely tough (it really shouldn't be), and the batter was undercooked and soggy instead of light and fluffy. Entrees we ordered: Spicy Peanut Ramen ($14.95): The gyozas in the bowl were fine on their own, but the broth was overwhelmingly salty. None of us could finish it. In fact, the dish was much saltier than it was spicy. Shoyu Ramen ($14.95): The broth for this ramen was much more balanced and came with egg, fish cakes, chashu, green onions, corn, and shiitake mushrooms. Everything worked well together. Ginza Udon ($13.95): Pretty average overall. Not bad, but nothing memorable flavor-wise. Spicy Katsu ($16.95): According to my 12-year-old nephew, this was a win. He said the pork was juicy. With tax and tip, we paid about $80. This isn't a spot I'd return to when we're craving authentic Japanese flavors. read more

This was a carry out; I wasn't able to get the full dine in experience this time. Clean and relaxing atmosphere and a decent amount of seating. Staff was friendly as well. They don't have a pork gyoza but the veggie kind was pretty good. The broth was flavorful but I think I would ask for it to be more spicy next time. I would also probably go without the corn. You get half an egg and two pieces of pork belly. The noodles were stuck together but I blame myself for that since it was a carry out. Nice ramen place The service was so nice! Our waitress was very friendly and on top of anything we needed. The food was delicious! The gyoza was deep fried which I wasn't used to but it added a nice extra crunch. Cabbage is included with the purchase of an entree. Inside is clean and well kept. This was my first time going to this place and I had gone with a friend. We had amazing ramen and I thought this place was safe....... I found out the next day that my information for my credit card I used to pay for my meal was stolen and used over the phone/online later that night for phone/Internet and Utilities in Columbia, Mississippi. I only went to this place that day and hadn't gone anywhere else previously or made any purchases online at anywhere I didn't know and trust. It really sucks that I love the food and would love to go back, but how can I trust this place, now that this has happened!? This happened on June 22, 2026. And it happened with my physical card information, not an online card. And then after that it was used to try and buy items online for pick-up at a Walmart in that same town (Columbia, Mississippi). TLDR: For those who have eaten ramen at many restaurants, this ramen is fine. Service was good for those who care about it. The meal started with a simple shredded cabbage salad, nothing to write home about. The takoyaki was a little too doughy, though it was saved by having two pieces of octopus per ball. Oddly, the restaurant chose to put the sauce over the fish flakes, resulting in a soggy mess of a topping. The sauce normally goes underneath in order to preserve the texture of the fish flakes. The ramen itself was fine. The broth, which usually determines the quality of the ramen, had nothing of note to it. The egg was well made, and the chashu (pork belly) was okay as well. I had the chicken ramen and ordered shredded cabbage on the side - it adds a nice fresh crunch. The broth in the chicken ramen was great!!! My daughter had the pork tonkotsu ramen and she loved it. We ordered a variety of things- tonkotsu ramen (so flavorful) with a side of chicken katsu (the crispiest chicken I've ever had- they make their own bread for breadcrumbs!) bulgolgi entree (super tender), kids ramen (10/10 rated by a 6 year old), edamame & mochi. Everything was super hot and fresh and the flavors were fantastic and portions were big. Reasonably priced, at about $60 with tax. Restaurant is very neat and clean and Service was fast and extremely friendly. We will definitely be back! read more

Horrible service. Came in and was seated then proceeded to wait 10+ minutes for someone to approach our table. No one did so I went up to the front and asked if we order at the counter or the table. The server came and said "I thought the other girl took your order". Our order is taken and while we wait we see another server take our food to a different table. The customers at that table say this is not ours and she brings it over. When questioned, the server replies "I didn't read the paper" no apology no acknowledgment of mistake. As a frequent visitor of their Rochester HIlls location, I was so excited to learn that they opened a location in Clinton Township. This turned a 30 minute drive into a much shorter one. This is one of my wife's and I favorite restaurants in the area. They're still in the hiring phase but that didn't impact their service! We mainly get it for take out since we're pretty close, but recently had the chance to sit in and they were just attentive here as they were at the other location. The place was quiet when we got there, as they just recently opened, there were probably 3 other tables occupied at the time. We both ordered ramen, her the chicken and I usually get either the miso, tonkatsu or shoyu one. I always get an extra marinated egg cause I love eggs You can also add a katsu to your order as a bit of extra protein (fish, chicken or pork). Any of the 3 is amazing due to the breading. In any case, you can customize your order with tons of different add-ons They also serve korean fried chicken, which I get occasionally. This was delicious to say the least! The Ginza ramen was flavorful with a mild spice and noddles were al dente. I also had the chicken katsu and it was juicy/crispy.
