NEW Bangin' Shrimp Boneless Wings, honey siracha
    Fiona L.

I've been here a few times hoping my experience would improve.. the service here in the dining room has unfortunately been slow and not the greatest every time. The bar service is a bit better. I ordered the boneless wings with "honey siracha" sauce and it didn't taste good at all. The bangin shrimp was just ok. The cosmik fries are pretty good and I've had their salad before which is also decent. I would say the two dishes I've liked here have been the pretzel nuggs and the stellar brownie. Unfortunately, at least for this location, I probably won't return. It's nothing special and for the likelihood of poor service it unfortunately isn't worth it. I'd rather go to Bubba's 33 across the road for a similar vibe.

Place was quite busy on a Saturday night. Thankfully that take reservations so our wait time was minimal. Service was a little on the hectic side. Not from a food delivery perspective but from a manager coming over and saying our order will be out next and then still waiting 15 minutes for food while watching everyone around us get their food. We probably wouldn't have made a point of it outside the manager coming over and letting us know we were next which we never were. Ordered pretzel bites as an app and they were quite good. The cheese sauce is delicious. Entrees were buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the rodeo burger. Mac and cheese was a big hit. Chicken sandwich was difficult to eat as it was too big for the bun. Negative the breading fell off the chicken very easily. The rodeo burger toppings were very good, can with bacon, fried jalapeño and onion straws. With a cheese, bbq sauce and cheese sauce. The burgers patties themselves were dry and lacked any flavor. Cook was "well done" and most likely were frozen not fresh beef. Fries were good. Burger Cook & flavor: 7 Burger presentation: 9 Bun quality: 9 Toppings: 10 Fries: 9 Price: 8 Ambiance/ service: 7 Total: 59

We have come here several times and I just don't think we will be back. It's a bummer because Partridge Creek is losing a lot of restaurants so the choices are limited. We were treated well so it wasn't a matter of service. They have a very nice beer selection. I wouldn't get a cocktail here though. They are very generic and sugary. The food is just gross. I have tried several things on the limited menu. Even the burgers are sub par. If you're ok with mediocrity then it's fine. But there are too many places in the area that are much better.

Pretty good! Excellent beer list too. The bbq chicken Cobb salad was really good. So was the Reuben but I wish they toasted the bread more. Get a free dessert when you enroll in their (free) rewards program

I have never been to Hopcat before. We walked in on a Monday afternoon and the sign said 'Please wait to be seated' we waited. And waited and waited. And after about 7minutes sat ourselves. Food was okay. French fries were very salty. I had a turkey Reuben and husband had burger. Every thing was exactly average. Probably wont be back.

We came on a Thursday evening during happy hour and we had a great time! We each got a happy hour drink: husband got a beer and I got a mule. Both were good! We ordered the space curds. They were different than we were expecting but very delicious! They come with a Bloody Mary aioli, which I was not a huge fan of (but I also don't like bloody Mary's) so we asked for a side of ranch to go with it. We were charged extra for the ranch which was annoying. Husband ordered the $9 burger and beer deal. The burger was over cooked for his liking. I ordered the pickle back chicken sandwich and it was very good! The server was great and made sure we had all our happy hour drinks ordered that we wanted before the time was up. We will be back for more happy hour days.

Stumbled upon the soft opening and everything was outstanding!!! I had the Paging Dr. Rum cocktail. It was not too sweet and very refreshing! The food. All the food was delicious! I can't wait to come back and try more. The Nashville hot chicken was one of the best I've had outside of Nashville! The lobster dip is like a deconstructed crab rangoon! Move over cosmic fries, I have a new fav app at HopCat! Service was some of the best. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and excited for the new opening!

It's been a while since we've been to a HopCat location and we attended the soft opening for the Partridge Creek location this past Friday and WOW! They've improved quite a bit! The Royal Oak and Detroit locations have been hit and miss, but I was really impressed by this new location. Started with a nice FRESH M-43 and the lobster dip. Delicious! The lobster dip is served with fried wontons rather than tortilla chips and it was amazing! The sweet chili sauce was also very good and a great compliment to the dish. It actually had heat and wasn't just from a Frank's Red Hot bottle. The Nashville Hot Chicken was HUGE and despite its size, the chicken wasn't stringy or tough. The spice is just about right for the style of sandwich and it's actually an oil based sauce like they do down south. One of the best I've had outside of Nashville. The Bar Zee burger was good as well and I'm glad that all of their burgers are now two patty smash burgers. I've had some hockey puck burgers at other locations, but these were cooked perfectly. The house made bar cheese was great and the bacon was flavorful. The creme brulee cheecake was good, but made me wish we had actual creme brulee. It had all of the right flavors, but was missing the texture. All in all a great spot. Our service was awesome and the food was hot and well prepared. We'll definitely be back after the official opening to try the full menu!

Also tried the calamari, they were tender but soggy, and I'd prefer the lemon sauce instead of the mayo they served it with. The loaded fries were trashed, pretty much fries with a bunch of sour cream on top, not sure if they got confused in the kitchen and doubled the sour cream but there was absolutely no cheese on there. The only dish we actually loved was the ribs and shrimp dish from the specials menu. Our server was nowhere to be found, so service could improve a lot! Overall not sure we'd come back.

The restaurant was clean, spacious, and we were seated fairly quickly. Our server, Laura, greeted us promptly and was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We ordered three kids' meals (chicken strips with fries, mini corn dogs with fruit, and mac & cheese with broccoli). My husband and I both ordered burgers, taking advantage of the Wednesday burger special, and requested them cooked medium. The kids' meals came out incredibly fast. Laura explained that she wanted to bring them out as soon as they were ready so they wouldn't sit under a heat lamp and so the kids could start eating, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, it was nearly 20 minutes before our meals arrived. When our burgers were delivered, Laura let us know fresh fries would be coming shortly because the fries on our plates were cold. The replacement fries were excellent--hot, fresh, and delicious. Unfortunately, while both burgers were served hot, they were cooked well beyond the medium temperature we ordered. They were very overcooked and dry, which was disappointing. By the time Laura was able to check back with us, the kids had already finished eating and were getting restless, making it difficult to have our meals remade. When we mentioned that this was our second disappointing visit, Laura immediately apologized and said she would speak with the manager. She returned and let us know that the manager, Neil, had removed both burgers from our bill, which we appreciated. However, given that this was our second poor experience--and especially considering we were using a $50 BJ's gift card that had been provided after our previous disappointing visit--we were surprised that the manager never came to our table to speak with us personally. A brief conversation or acknowledgment would have gone a long way toward making us feel like our feedback truly mattered. Laura provided friendly service and did what she could to make things right, and we appreciate her efforts. Unfortunately, after two disappointing experiences, we've decided this restaurant just isn't for us and don't plan on returning.
