I'm not sure what caught my eye this time, but I'm glad it did. The first thing you notice is the attention to detail in the front of the lobby. They could have been strictly utilitarian, without much in the way of decoration. Or, it could have been a cluttered mess of disconnected themes. Instead, what you see is placed with care. There is a giant TV screen showing beautiful coastal scenes. It's relaxing, and lifts your mood after fighting traffic on 12 Mile Road. It looks like care was taken with the knickknacks and pictures you see here, too. Everything feels just right. By the time I wrote the previous paragraph, my food was ready. Seriously, it took about five minutes. If you look at the pictures, it doesn't look like it was thrown together, but rather assembled carefully. While the ambience is nice, what really matters is the flavor of the food. And, this is where this humble little place excels. The salmon in my salmon roll was beautifully fresh, and I was given a significant amount. They were eight hearty rolls for $11.
