Very sad. Came here from Kalispell Montana for my birthday. Rice was old saved crunchy, rolls fell apart, the fish cuts were bulky and sad. Was hoping for more especially with the reviews. Very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. I completely understand the no-sharing policy for AYCE. That was never the issue. My son doesn't eat sushi, so I ordered him a separate teriyaki beef entrée. Later, he tried one piece of fried shrimp from my AYCE order and the server told us he couldn't share my food. I immediately offered to pay separately for the shrimp or switch him to AYCE. The server eventually said I would have to pay for both his teriyaki AND the full AYCE price. I said, "That's fine, charge me for both." I was not asking for anything for free. We then told my son not to touch my food again, and he didn't. Despite that, the server stood directly across from our table watching him to make sure he wasn't eating from my plate. It made us feel like we were being treated as if we were trying to steal food. By then my son had lost his appetite and so had I. I didn't even want the fried food anymore, but I found myself quickly eating what I had ordered in front of my child because I didn't want another confrontation about leaving food behind -- I just wanted to finish and get out of there. I didn't enjoy any of it. Enforcing a policy is completely reasonable. Making paying customers feel watched and distrusted after they have complied with the policy and repeatedly offered to pay whatever was necessary is not. read more

Came here on a Wednesday during off hours, 1pm, and had a great time. Fast seating, service, and food! The appetizers we ordered were our lightining fast: the gyoza and edamame. Both were perfect and went fast at the table. We sampled the Sparkling roll, the Ginza roll, and a couple other delicious rolls I have now forgotten the name of. Literally nothing was left. I walked in expecting average all you can eat sushi, which honestly would have been fine, but this place somehow managed to miss even that low bar. The second I walked in I noticed flies, gnats, a dining room that felt weirdly hot, plus a smell that made me question whether I should have turned around right then. Then the food came out, which somehow made the atmosphere seem like the best part of the experience. The rice was absolutely terrible. It was warm, dry, tasted stale, plus every roll fell apart the second I picked it up. The fish was slimy, overwhelmingly fishy, plus had the kind of texture fresh sushi should never have. I ordered three rolls plus some nigiri, then couldn't even force myself to finish half of it because every bite made me lose more confidence in what I was eating. My friend and I went to Ginza on a Friday night around 9pm for their all you can eat sushi. The restaurant was busy but we were seated as soon as we walked in! The staff is always so friendly and give the best recommendations. We were able to order all you can eat sushi in shifts which was nice to space it out! The cheese wontons, shrimp tempura, gyoza, and sweet potato tempura were all fantastic and a great start. All the food came out fast and hot. We then ordered the mango roll and black dragon roll. Both delicious and full of flavor. Everything tastes very fresh. We ended with a side of shrimp fried rice, more gyoza, a mango-avocado-cucumber roll and a few pieces of teriyaki shrimp. Ended the night with some plain vanilla ice cream, yum!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about Ginza's food. The all you can eat sushi is $31.95 per person for dinner from 4:30-10 which is such a steal! Definitely ordered more than that and got our moneys worth.
