A wonderful Korean BBQ restaurant -- we absolutely loved it! The portions were huge and incredibly delicious. The family who runs the restaurant provides exceptional service; they were simply wonderful. Great music, fantastic Korean salads, and an overall amazing experience. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it!

It's unfortunate that I had to update my review. The menu has changed. I understand it's a tourist area so it'll be pricey but I didn't expect it to be so pricey for their portion size. Just a bowl of soup was over $21. I use to love going here every time I came to Hawai'i.

A hidden gem. There's a parking area across the street...a bit pricey, down an alley way off Lewers. Came with a large party of 7 with reservations on a Sunday evening and it was packed...had to wait about 20 minutes. It's a small but comfortable place. Be aware you will have smoky clothes when you leave as you bbq everything at your table. Enough said...but a fun interactive dinner. The meats were plentiful for all 7 of us, just wished there were more veges. The banchan was unremarkable, with only three selections and a very simple lettuce salad. The best we could do was order the B course with several additional sides. It was plenty of food. Best tasting was the marinaded short ribs. If in the area, should check this out!

Friday 6:30pm Party of 2 We were seated right away. Ordered bulgogi, rice, and salad. Everything was delicious. Diet coke and water to drink. Excellent service.

Boneless short rib, tofu soup, plenty Banchan and vegetables

We found this restaurant two years ago and had such a great dinner, actually twice while we stayed in Waikiki. We came back to This place and had a wonderful dinner again! The food is great. We ordered boneless short rib and meat has great flavor. Tofu soup has not been changed the good quality. This place is definitely our choice of regular for the next trip back to Waikiki!

Other than the alley where it's located which wasn't bad it's just not easy to see when walking on the street the place was very nice looking inside. The staff was so attentive and efficient the entire time it was already a pleasure being here. The bbq was just too delicious. All the sides and everything was very tasty. We enjoyed the entire experience here. Honestly we were waiting across the street for the Japanese bbq and when we saw this place we got curious so went to check it out and the clients coming highly recommended it they were sooo right. We made the right move in coming here.

Stopped by dinner with my family. My parents wanted eat Korean and searched near my hotel area. Took Uber go there and it took only 7mins to got there. Ordered yukgaejang and seafood pancake and hot ston bibimbap. Yukgaejang(1/5)-really disappointed. I never eaten like this Yukgaejang tasted before. Definitely I wouldn't recommend Seafood pancake(2/5)-you don't have to eat with soy sauce. Enough salty. Hot ston bibimbap(3/5)-it's ok than other food which was we ordered. If I travel to Honolulu again would not back to this place again. Maybe we ordered wrong food but I wouldn't go back. Service was ok and not pretty clean place.

Located in Waikiki, we walked here for the touristy shopping area. The set meal for 2 cost around $95, but it can easily serve 3 persons as I had left overs for dinner the next day. Bonchon was nice and I liked the tofu soup. The spicy if level of tofu soup was a little weak, like 2 out of 10 spicy but it's ok, they don't want to offend any taste buds. There were many choices for soju and we for a pre-mixed mango soju $22 which could have served 3-4 people. Great place to have Korean bbq!

Banchan - the "salad" was amazingly delicious!

This is a small place, 8 or 9 tables. We arrived for an early dinner and were sat right away but by the time we were done all the tables were full and there were people waiting outside (Sunday night). They brought a lettuce "salad," which was surprisingly good and 3 sides, one of which is kimchi. Usually there is more banchan at a Korean place but I didn't really miss them. Our meal was DELICIOUS. We had the marinated short ribs (super yummy though a bit fatty), the plain soondubu (which does not have kimchi, btw) and the vegetable dolsot bibimbop (it's not vegetarian, fyi). They also brought lettuce and bean paste for the meat (OG lettuce wraps!). We also had 2 bottles of soju. We had a very enjoyable experience and service was also excellent. It's away from the Main Street and places, but not far. It's right next to a tiny karaoke bar.

Came here about a week ago and ABSOLUTELY loved it. I've had my share of KBBQ, and this place definitely stands out. To start, the service was great - everyone was super friendly and they even gave us a list of recommendations to check out while we were on the island! We came for dinner (around 5:30 PM) and were seated quickly. We ordered the 2-person $95 deal. For our meats, we got kalbi, brisket, and garlic shrimp and the raw beef bibimbap. The stars of the show for me were the bibimbap - truly perfect with great seasoning and the perfect ratio of rice to veggies - and the garlic shrimp, which were huge! The shrimp were SO garlicky and paired well with all the banchan. I also liked how you get lettuce to wrap the meat in! The brisket was a great cut as well and was thicker than other kinds I've had in the past. Can't go wrong with the kalbi either! Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. It's a family-owned spot with great food and great people!

First time trying this place and we love it. The food was delicious! The hot stone bibimbap was delicious and the staff mixed it for me. We also ordered spice pork. It was delicious. Best customer service. The staff was friendly. I will definitely recommend this place

This got me worried that no one will see us when we raise our hands but thankfully our server was helpful towards us. My brother and I ordered the prix fixe (prime beef 9 course meal), and some parts of it got me confused as the cost is per person but there were certain selections (such as choosing between corn cheese and steamed egg) that you only get to choose one for the TABLE instead of per PERSON. It was unfortunately not indicated on the menu. The meat quality was good, and some of the banchans were great (kimchi and potato salad). I also liked their corn cheese as it helped balance the flavor of the meats. However, for the price of $77 per person, I am not certain if the experience was worth the price tag. Maybe next time I'll try their Lunch Specials as it may have better value for money.

The restaurant gives off Korean pub vibes, decently sized, and best suited for smaller groups. We ordered a variety of food: chicken combo, kimbap, bulgogi, bossam, and spicy rice cakes. The chicken was okay, but not something I'd order again. The spicy sauce was drenched all over the chicken and was very spicy. The regular crispy chicken didn't have enough salt for me and was overcooked.

We were told the waiter was the owner, must be under a new owner and if that's true, his behavior was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend eating somewhere where you're made to feel like an inconvenience. My soon do bu tofu soup was literally thrown onto the table, causing some of it to spilt over on the side. We were not given enough chopsticks, and when we asked for straws because the ones we had broke, his attitude became even worse. He started slamming things around, and when we tried to get his attention, he clearly heard us, laughed, said something under his breath and walked away. Thankfully, the other person working with him came over and helped us. At that point, I couldn't even enjoy my food because of how uncomfortable and unwelcome we felt. I ended up asking for my food to be packed to go. The overall atmosphere felt extremely toxic, rude, and unwelcoming.
