This is a food truck / container on the corner of Uluniu and Prince Edward - right in the heart of Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place on a whim and I'm so glad we did! The portion sizes are generous and the food is delicious. We ordered the kalbi and chicken plate so we could try both. They are equally delicious and super filling! They come with salad, mac salad and rice. We also got the potato skewer ($12) which you can't go wrong with, especially for kids! Service was quick, we didn't wait long given the line. My fun foodie adventures usually start with plans to go somewhere specific... and then somehow I end up walking around and discovering a completely different place instead. This happened to me the last time I was in Waikiki, and it happened again here. Honestly, these little detours are where I find the real gems, and I'm looking forward to many more adventures like this. I tried a really delicious sweet coffee drink, and it was amazing. I also got to try a potato tornado. Back where I used to live in Texas, we called it Spiro Papa, and you'd usually find them at the flea market for about $3. Here in Hawaii though... well, Hawaii prices are real! This one was about $20, but at this point I've accepted it. For a fun experience like this, you can't beat it and you're also supporting local businesses and helping them thrive. I really liked the setup of the space too. The LED lights, the umbrellas, and the chairs that kind of look like trash bins gave the whole place a quirky shabby-chic vibe that somehow worked really well. My friend Andrea ordered tteokbokki, and Raul got the kalbi. We even brought our dog Scrappy with us, and he enjoyed the experience too. We bought him a bottle of water, and the staff kindly gave us a free bowl to pour it into for him. I did find it a little funny that the Christmas lights were still up, but honestly it added to the charm of the place. The ambience was great, and I loved the music that was playing while we hung out. Found myself in a predicament on Sunday night since all the places I wanted to go had extremely long lines that I didn't want to deal with, so I decided to take a chance when I saw this random food truck and I'm glad I did. This place has huge portions and pretty high quality meats. I did the Kalbi & Chicken combo and it did the job well. All the plates come with rice, macaroni salad, kimchi, and a salad. I will say that while the loud EDM blasting from a speaker right next to the truck was fun, it definitely made it harder for people to order. read more

This place was so good we came back FOUR different times in the week we were there! Like another reviewer said, at first look you're kind of shocked at the prices but the portions are HUGE and a plate can be shared by two (although we did not hehe). Now, we didn't take pics all of the nights cause we were usually tired by the time we ate but we tried the [kabli - Korean bbq short rib, chicken plate, and shrimp plate, and ramen with chicken]. So yes, we kind of did our thing lol. I remembered to do a review on the last night when we both got the kbbq short rib. Sorry for the lack of photos! Now service: it's a quick order at the window vibe and on the weekends there is a longgg line so I don't expect it to be 10/10 friendly service each time but they're always friendly and the food comes out fairly quick (longest we waited was maybe 20 mins on a Saturday). But food comes out fresh each time! On the topic of food: the menu says each plate comes with rice, mac salad, mixed salad and kimchi. It is not always consistent. First time we came and got a rice plate it came with kimchi then it didn't, then it did, and then it didn't so the last time checked our bag and it was missing we asked if it came with it and the guy said no. Just inconsistent even though the menu says it does. So just check your bags to make sure you have everything. I say this because their kimchi is SO FREAKING GOOD! Some of the best I've ever had so it is worth checking your bag and asking for it. And for $21/plate they better have everything lol! There are a few tables for seating in that lil corner area. Turn around is quick so don't let it steer you away! This place is amazing! Worth a stop if you're in Waikiki! read more

My husband found us two tables and saved them while half of us waited in line to order. Nice little seating area with four chairs per table. Well lit for the evenings. The order came out within 5-10 minutes. Such big portions that several of us said we could have shared. The bulgogi bowls and plate were great. So much food. We have leftovers. On the corner in between hotels, a great location on the way to Waikiki Beach. Outdoor venue, which makes for a very authentic street food experience, an was always very lively and full of people. The service was quick even for dinner time on a weekday. The food was delicious, very good street food and came out fresh and hot. I was in Waikiki for the Honolulu marathon and looking for a good place to carbo-load. Let me tell you, K Street food is the place to go to get the most bang for your buck! This spot is so good. I got the Kalbi plate which is the short ribs with white rice and mac salad with greens and it was off the chart. A nice grill flavor with a little char which i like and a nice sweet flavor too which im guessing is a glaze of sorts. This outdoor food truck was steps away from my Airbnb and I must've eaten here at least 4 times during my stay in Hawaii, and for good reason! Always a line, no matter what time you stop by. This particular time I bought the spicy pork platter which is accompanied with white rice, Mac salad, and some veggies. The taste is 10/10 and I would also recommend the bulgogi platter as well. They have an assortment of fresh lemonades and juices, and I would recommend their original and pineapple lemonade. Does get a little buggy in the evenings so dress accordingly, I did not so got a couple bug bites as souvenirs haha but that didn't deter me from the delicious food! Came back the next morning to try the spam kimbap and it was delicious! Their kimchi is one of the best I've tasted, so fresh and crunchy. Incredible!! From the Bay Area and this blows all the kalbi's out of the water. The flavor is so intense - must've been marinating months! It was so tasty we had to return the very next night for more (mind you- there were tons of other options in HNL too). The mac & cheese salad was delish as well. And the kimchi- perfection! You can smell this place a block away. The portions are huge! The Beef Bulgogi was delicious. The Garlic Shrimp was good however the rice it comes with is soaked in butter. So if that's your thing, go for it. The dishes are both served with rice and macaroni salad. The Potato Tornado was good, just needed more salt. They get really busy so the girl at the counter wasn't really the friendliest. The outdoor tables can be dirty because its so busy. There are a ton of birds and pigeons, so be cautious leaving your food. It was getting annoying shooing away all the birds.
