Stopped here for a moderately priced meal before going to Disney. Eatablishment was nice, servers were somewhat friendly but not very attentive. We ordered the Giordano's Sampler as an appetizer. Very good! Everything in the platter was fresh and delicious. Loved the fact the tomatoes for the bruschetta came on the side to avoid soggy bread. The cheesy bread was crisp and definitely just made. We also ordered a side of garlic Parmesan fries, that were just regular ole' fries. Kind of disappointing, we added some Parmesan that was at the table in hopes that would spruce it up. The places I've been in NY, the pizza is always soggy and mushy. But here? The pizza crust was perfectly cooked. I'm also not used to the cheese being under the sauce, but it was a welcomed change. There was a great cheese to sauce ratio. We got a deep dish with green peppers, pepperoni, fresh garlic, and spinach. Absolutely amazing. When my husband brought in the box of pizza, I thought it was so small compared to what I'm used to. I was afraid it wasn't going to be enough. Don't let it fool you because the slices are so thick. Other folks in my party ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli, salads, chicken fingers, and a personal deep dish pizza with bacon, sausage, spinach, and garlic. We're a military family from southern Cali we're extremely familiar with Chicago style pizza due to living in Chicago. I was super amazed that someone down south can pull off the deep dish style pizza so well. The location is great and has plenty of room. For people who complain that the pizza takes 45 min to make if you want something done right it has to take its process go to dominos and get yourself a cheap 15min pizza. Giordanos has a very unique style and obviously if you're familiar with this style of pizza you know it takes time to bake properly. I will drive three hours to Orlando just for this pizza. My earliest memory of coming to this restaurant was one of my family vacations to Disney when I was seven or eight and I've been obsessed ever since. It's always one of the highlights of my trip when I come to Orlando. If you're looking for a delicious deep dish pizza, you won't find any better than Giordano's. You can get whatever toppings you want inside your pizza and when you cut it, you can't help but get cheese all over because it's filled with it! Definitely a plus for this cheese lover. Good things take time though, right? And in order to get this pizza, you have to wait a good 45 minutes as it takes time to make the creation that is Chicago deep dish pizza. First night in Orlando and we ordered here because we're familiar with the one popular location in Chicago. We ordered a medium pepperoni deep dish and a thin crust Hawaiian pizza. We also ordered the variety appetizer that included boneless chicken and cheesy bread. With the deep dish pizza I was expecting a good balance of sauce and cheese, but it was basically loaded with a huge layer of cheese and a fine layer of sauce. The sauce wasn't anything special just the typical pizza sauce. I was expecting more of a kick. Good spread of pepperoni which actually helped add flavor. The crust actually was airy and soft but it was too much bread that I couldn't finish that part. The Hawaiian pizza was okay. The ham was layered underneath the thick layer of cheese which normally isn't my preference but i thought it was fine. The boneless chicken actually went well with the pizza. It had a good kick of Buffalo sauce and the meat was cooked really well. OMG! First impression was good. I ordered take out for pick up. While visiting the area I pick this restaurant for the convenience as it is close to where I am staying. They answered the phone quickly, took my order and said 30 minutes, easy. He liked the look/ambiance of the restaurant and the aroma of the food gave him the feeling that this was a good pick for a simple thin crust pepperoni pizza and garlic bread. I know COVID is around so maybe this you why the order was a hour later than they told me it would be. So 2 hours from when I ordered. I ordered online so they couldn't have misunderstood what I was saying. But still I didn't receive a drink. Then when I call they said I didn't get charged but the amount I got charged was the amount I was quoted on the email with the drink. Ok cool $2.00. Whatever. One of my favorite pizza places when I'm in Orlando! The pizzas are large and very filling. $6.25 for abottle.of Peroni-- kinda pricey. Pizzas take 35-45 mins to make, so don't expect to be in and out rapidly. Service is reasonable, but the last time we went the server disappeared for quite some time when we wanted a box and our bill.
