Ordered the deep dish with onions and broccoli. The pizza took about 40 minutes to prepare but they tell you that before hand. The onions were not chopped small enough and they barely used any broccoli. They do use a lot of cheese though a real lot of cheese. The red sauce was bland overall the pizza was not good and a little on the expensive side about 23$ for a medium. The service was decent and they have two flat screen tvs not recommended. read more

This place is a time vampire. The only way I would recommend you eating a pizza here is if you own a flux capacitor and don't mind scrapping up the nuclear fuel rods required to power your time machine. I've seen cruise ships built quicker than the time it took to construct our pizza. It takes so long that you could legally call this place your home residence. I've had relatives pass away while I waited, which only fueled my worry that one day I may pass in this booth as I waited for my pizza. I only assume that it took so long because they had to grow the vegetables required to build the pizza. Seriously though, please save your soul and avoid this place as you would a starving tiger, lest you become one. Really. I mean it, and we were not the only ones, the folks in front and behind us both complained of the wait (which totaled nearly two hours). While the pizza is great the service is not. I should've taken names but I digress as I do not like to outright call people out. I just feel like the front of the house, in this case it was this rude fat short girl, was terrible at her job. She seemed to me as a person that picks and chooses who to be nice to. I was told she'd be right with me even though she just stood there to chat with others. I then went over to this nicer taller girl who rung me up but did not say even a single thank you or please wait while we get your order. So I took a hint and waited about 15 minutes until I asked the fat short girl about my order- to which see took 5 minutes to get. She came back looking grossly pisst as if I was an inconvenience to her. I just think that if you hate your job so much about it then please work else where. Most people would be happy to take your job. And they're service would probably outshine your disgusting service. Again the food was good but I won't come back or order from here again. Also the manager that night walked around oblivious to EVERYTHING! As a customer service rep and having managerial skills I am appalled. read more

PLUS, we had to ask for our order 3 TIMES AND had to deal with LAW ENFORCEMENT INTERROGATING THE EMPLOYEES! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I am not upset, I'm disappointed. We would've gotten our delivery faster if it came from Italy. They told us that it would only take 1 hour. After multiple phone calls and 2 stomach-growling hours later, the order was still not delivered. We called back one last time to check on it they told us that it would still be another 15 minutes. We called in a delivery order from our hotel & they screwed up one of our entrees. Called the location back & the lady told us we needed to take a picture of the messed up entree & the receipt & email it to an address. So we did this (what an inconvenience while the rest of the food was getting cold) my wife asked if they we're going to bring the correct entree? The lady said they would need to be reviewed & they would get back to us. Twenty minutes later and nobody responded to our email. I called two days in advance to place and pay for the order. I was flying to the area from California and wanted the food to arrive before I did because some family members were already at the vacation rental. They had to call in the address and were told that the pizza would arrive at 6:30 and it never did. I ended up driving to get it myself because they did not have a delivery driver despite telling my family that the delivery was scheduled. It was a $200 order and when I arrived and spoke to Anthony the manager, he agreed to a 50% discount because of the delivery mishap. I called about this a week after the fact when the credit was not issued and was told that it would be processed. It is another week later and still no credit. VERY poor customer service! read more

Delicious! Being the Midwestern girl that I am, I must say thank you thank you thank you Giordano's for satisfying my Chicago pizza cravings! I have had you in Chi-town and glad to see you in Florida. I wish that we were able to sit down and eat everything fresh at the table on this visit, but with 2 sleepy toddlers we had to take it with us back to our resort. The pizza was the typical, deep dish style Chicago is known for and was very good. Thick, awesome crust, cheese and sauce tasty, tasty, mmmmmmm. Would've been better fresh and piping hot at the table, but not their fault our resort wasn't close and of course traffic here is a nightmare (with an accident to boot). But for some reason on this trip, my calamari and my Greek salad made my life!! The calamari was delicious and I love SPICY so I ate all of the hot peppers out of the box (greedy, I know, don't judge). Despite its tastiness, it still wasn't as good as my Greek salad. I'm a Greek food junky and I thought this salad would be mediocre or average but man, I wish I could have it everyday. We got the family portion for $20 and it was a great size with huge blocks of fresh Feta cheese on top and lots of fresh veggies (and more peppers hallelujah!). So glad I got that one over the other regular (Italian?) salad. Their red wine vinaigrette even pleased my italian dressing only loving husband. My wife and I come to Orlando often, and no visit seems complete without the requisite stop at our favorite pizza joint, Giordano's. My mom was with us on this summer trip, and she had never tried the deep dish pizza before, so my wife and I ordered that so she could taste it (she can't eat tomatoes,) and it was as great as always. She ordered fettucine alfredo and we all took portions home they both were so plentiful. We had beer with our pizza, Goose Island 312 urban wheat, and frozen margaritas served as dessert since it was so hot outside. OMGOSH!!!! I have always wanted to try this place and let me tell you, it is fabulous! Although it takes about an hour to get your pie, it is well worth the wait. The pie is so flavorful and the crust is crispy...which was a wonderful and pleasant surprise for me. We got the meaty one and the Chicago style one. Let's just say that there no one is talking much and I see happy faces. To help with the wait, we got appetizers. My fav was the Bruschetta! It will make you want to slap somebody. The pizza was very good but our wait was very long. I know that normally deep dish pizza takes 35+ minutes to fix, but it seems like maybe our order didn't get put in. It was about an hour and a half from the time we ordered till the time we had our pizza. That being said, it was worth the wait and exactly what we were looking for. We got a medium deep dish pizza with meat and the other one was the house special. Our server was Katie and she did an excellent job of taking care of us even though we had a lengthy wait. She even gave us a free dessert to compensate for the wait time. We were staying at a Disney Resort and wanted to try something different. We called and were told it would be 1hr30mins for our pizza to arrive. We called after waiting 1hr40mins and we asked about our order, what sounded like teenagers were laughing and saying it hasn't even left in the background and then we were put on hold for the third time. Another person answered the phone and said our pizza would arrive in 20 minutes. We had already given our credit card information and it was too late to cancel our order but if we were given the option after that conversation I would have. UPDATE: We just got a call and they said our pizza was never made but they charged our credit card so now we expect a full refund from these pieces of garbage and an apology. If you are staying at a Disney Resort avoid this place. I will be writing a complaint to corporate because this service and behavior is unacceptable! read more

My family and myself were excited to order from this place. The order was made online at 5:00PM, we waited until 6:37PM to check on the status of the delivery. We were told the system was down - fine, no problem. Two hours passed! No pizza, no call or text after our initial phone call. I called again and was met with the same story about the system being down. No apologies or anything. The person was rude and unprofessional, and went on to tell me the order had been canceled about an hour ago without our knowledge. I asked for a refund, seeing it was an order of $100+, and the manager said to wait 7-10 for the refund. That is unacceptable. I expected better service, an apology even but received neither. I stumbled across this restaurant in an Orlando magazine. Not high expectations. Much to my surprise, it was awesome! I had the stuffed crust super veggie pizza and I have to say it was The Best pizza I've ever had. It takes about 40 minutes because each is made fresh to order, but well worth the wait. The crust is almost like pastry crust. Light crispy buttery/sweet. The veggies inside were perfectly cooked. You could taste every single flavor. The cheese was no less impressive. A small pizza is more than enough for 2 people. It could be shared by three. This is a pizza for all others to be judged by.
