Very unique pizza do not get this kind up in Northeast New York. The sausage has great flavor of the cheese is high-quality. I always try to grab one of these pizzas when I am down in Orlando.

I was on a business trip to Chicago, and that's when I first discovered Giordano's. When I came back home from that trip, I was raving about how great my experience was and couldn't wait to take my wife there. Well, imagine my surprise when I found out there was a Giordano's close to our hotel!!!! Without any hesitation, I took my wife here to experience a Chicago style deep dish pizza and who better than Giordano's? Surprisingly, it was a bit slow and we were seated immediately. It was nice and toasty out, so we refreshed ourselves with some water and started off with their Mozzarella Triangles. Perfectly golden and fried, these were tasty little polygons!! Unique in the sense I've never seen them in this shape before. Now onto the main course! We ordered The Special 10" deep dish and it was more than plentiful for the two of us. So much so we were able to take several slices back to the hotel. Each slice felt like it weighed about 1.5 lbs- you'll leave feeling very satisfied and full. The pizza was easily about two inches thick and full of robustness and flavor. Every bite was loaded with meats, veggies, and sauce, but the pièce de résistance for me is the crust!! Absolutely love the snap of the crust on the bottom, meaning it's crispy just enough. And the buttery goodness on the outer crust is sublime. Every bite! Thank you to the staff for the experience and for an opportunity to share greatness with my wife!! As always, Enjoy & EAT PIZZA!!

Great pizzas as always - my husband's from Chicago. I ran into a sketchy situation this time. We needed to use the rest of our gift card. Unless your gift card is higher than your order value, you can't use a gift card for payment through the app. So I had to order in person. I asked for 2 frozen sausage deep dish and 2 frozen pepperoni deep dish. The order total came out $10 more than when I just tried to order through the app, $103 versus $93. I noticed they were being rung up as small sausage and small pepperoni and not frozen. I asked if the price for frozen was different. I had to show my cart from the app before it was adjusted to frozen pizzas and the correct price. Not sure if this was an honest mistake or something they do regularly. Then there was an issue with my gift card, not going through. I had just checked the value through their website and it was $76.26. They asked me how much was on my gift card and I told them. They tried to ring it up as $76 then $75. Neither worked. I was in the process of putting my gift card number into their website to show them how much was on it. Somehow he got it to go through with the full value after multiple attempts. They gave us some good instructions on heating it this time by letting it sit out at room temperature for one hour first. We followed the prior instructions for our last order (just bake the pizza) and it was still frozen in the center when we took it out. The crust was also pretty dark by the time the center was edible.

We Stopped in for lunch by recommendation from a colleague, they Chicago style so I was excited to try them. Was seated right away since it was kind of early. We ordered 2 Pies, One Sausage and one Pepperoni with some veggies, I don't really know what they added to it because I wasn't paying attention when they ordered lol The Sausage was my favorite, they were both thin crust, guess that's the Chicagoan way. But I loved the crust, both were really flavorful and I liked them. Took a while to get them so don't be in a rush when guy come in, about 40mins I'd say. Great for family and large groups.

This was my first time trying Chicago-style pizza, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but WOW I was not expecting it to taste this light and fresh. For something stuffed with cheese and filling, it didn't feel heavy or oily. I was genuinely amazed. There was a good five minutes of silence when the food came out because my whole party was just stuffing our faces. My party of five ordered two medium pies: the Special and the Margherita with pepperoni. Everyone ate 2-4 slices each. I, unfortunately, had to tap out after two slices. You can't go wrong with either pies.

We were surprised to see that Orlando had a Giordano's, so we had to get our deep dish fix. The staff were great at answering food and drink questions, and were friendly. We started with cheesy garlic bread that comes with marinara. It was ok. Could have used more cheese and some seasoning. The sauce was good, and enough for us. We ordered a double pepperoni with a side of pizza sauce. It was great! The crust was baked perfectly, with plenty of pepperoni, cheese, and sauce on top. I had a couple of old fashions, which were good. They are made with Makers Mark, so they are sweet. The place has seats inside and out, and was packed on the Friday evening that we visited, but the staff did a great job keeping up. If we're down that way again, we'll visit them for sure.

Outstanding food and outstanding service from our server Eric!! We are staying at a nearby hotel and the concierge recommended this restaurant to us for the classic deep dish Chicago style pizza. We ordered The Special for the meat eaters at the table and I ordered the small personal deep dish with green peppers and mushrooms. Both pizzas were outstanding! We also ordered the calamari which featured fried lemons and banana peppers. It was delicious! My Greek salad was generous and full of fresh vegetables and topped with feta cheese and lemon vinaigrette. Our pitcher of sangria was a great deal and paired perfectly with our food! We are looking forward to the cannoli for dessert!!

If you've never had real Chicago deep dish pizza, it's life-changing. I'm a huge pizza lover and omg it really does live up to the hype. I've had Giordano's before when I lived in a different state, but I had no idea we had one in Orlando! This made my day! I was staying at the Fairfield hotel, and Giordano's is less than a five minute walk away and so convenient. I ordered the personal deep dish and it was ready in about a half hour. It was just as perfectly cheesy as I remember, with some of the best sauce I've ever had on pizza. My only negative is that I asked for utensils and they said it was in the bag. When I got back to my hotel, the only thing in there were packets of red pepper. Eating deep dish pizza in a hotel with no utensils was really difficult and kind of a buzzkill. But still. I've had both Giordano's and Lou Malnati's, and I'm firmly on the Giordano's side of the debate.

Hands down my favorite pizza joint in Chicago is Giordanos! Every time we visit, i always bring a pizza back. We ordered the super veggie deep dish and it was really good, it just felt like it had too much black pepper or something spicy on it for some reason. Other than that, it was the same great pizza we get in Chicago. The service wasn't great, our waitress forgot about our waters and didnt really check on us. I might check out another location in town to see if it is any different.

Who doesn't love Pizza Night at least once a month? Not very many and that led me and hubby to try the deep dish experience. We typically opt for traditional pizza. We are local, so we ordered take out. What an A++ experience. We ordered a large deep dish, build your own. We had no idea how hearty a pizza like this would be. We were a little taken back by the price, but 4 meals worth of food took that price worry away. When we picked up the pizza we found the restaurant clean and the attendant friendly and very helpful with questions. The food taste and quality was outstanding. I did like that we brought the food home, as I could see it would get cold quickly if dining in. Hint - if you get it to go, the leftovers freeze well and taste great when thawed and re heated. Also, hint - for two people a small or medium at tops is all you need for deep dish, unless you want leftovers. So glad we found a new place to enjoy. Now a sentimental story - my daughter worked there for a little while in high school and met her fiance' there, as he worked there as well. She worked there a short time so we never ate there during the time she worked there.

So my wife and I are vacationing in Orlando and had just checked in at our hotel when we got the hunger pains and we missed this restaurant when we went to Chicago so there we go on our way. We started off with The Greek Salad which was yummy and i normally am not a fan of vinaigrette but this was a lemon one and it was very tasty and we ordered a medium Meats and More Meats Deep Dish pizza. We were informed it would be a 45 minute wait and we were ok with it. When it came, it was piping hot and cheesy and it was good. Both my wife and I compared it to Pequod's pizza that we visited in Chicago, and they are both good in their own ways. Main difference was Pequod's served their pizza in the pie pan and the crust is layered in cheese and Giordano's is served on a tin pizza plate. It was yummy and we enjoyed it but it was a little dry. Only downside was I also ordered a Bloody Mary she it was blah, had no taste and wasn't spicy at all and when I asked for some Tabasco to spice it up so they had was Cholula! Come on man!!!!

Tastes just like the one in Chicago and fills in the void between my trips to Pequods. The service is fine but warning to those who have never ordered deep dish, it takes a long time (30-40 mins), so we usually call ahead and we've even taking it to-go. The ambiance is fine, something you would expect from an pseudo-Italian restaurant

Awesome experience. Could not finish the small deep dish pizza. Also got the chicken Florentine pasta. It was delicious. Our waiter Rodrigo (I'm sorry if I spelled it wrong) was awesome ! I recommend this place. 4 stars because we were told the pizza was going to take 40 mins to be ready. There are no complimentary appetizers so we ordered one because we were starving. Other than that, exceptional! read more

This weekend we did a stay-cation at a Orlando hotel. Such a fun thing can be magnified in how fun it is with great food ordered in. With some debate, we decided on pizza in the hotel room. As we are both fans of Chicago Pizza(as we are fans of many kinds of pizza), we were excited to see Giordano's was close to our hotel. We thought about picking up but since the agreed to make it to us we did just that. It arrived piping hot! That can be rare in pizza delivered on a Saturday night, so we took note. The pizza was very good, and very classically Chicago in nature. The crust was thick and solid on the bottom. I love NY pizza too, but its nice to be able to pick up a piece with just one hand. The ingredients were fresh, the sauce tangy and rich, and the cheese was gooey awesome. It was on odd feeling, not having ate a Chicago pizza in some time, to be sorta full as I was half way through my somewhat small 2nd piece. There is just so much more in the depths of a slice. We really enjoyed Giordanos, and it's assured next time we are in town, we will partake of Chicago slices again. read more

Perhaps the biggest waste of Money and TIME! Here in Orlando for vacation and it was getting late with the family and thought about pizza... First off the girl who finally answered the phone was so unknowledgeable and actually hung up without saying thank you for calling or goodbye - when we said "we needed a few more minutes to look over the menu and we would call her back... "click"... So we ordered food and unknowingly because she was so inept she didn't tell me it was going to be over an hour to get a pizza and it was past ten o'clock to begin with... When I got there I knew exactly what had happened - I actually called it! One of the pizzas and the two garlic breads we're going to be ice cold while the small deep dish pizza I ordered was burnt on top and raw in the middle disgusting and chewy and wet! The other pizza spent so much time in the heating box that the bottom was chewy and the crust cracked like it was old and air dried! Some moron manager offered to make a new bread but what he did was reheated the same crap that he told me he wasn't going to so the bread was more like croutons with zero flavor! If I can give this place not even zero stars but negative stars it would be an understatement! Also the place looks totally disgusting they had no togo plates and they were pretty rude about that - apparently the same annoying tween from the phone call earlier! Some 60+ year old looking prostitute asking for several times for beer loudly, who was barefoot and had hands like mechanic was getting full attention - while my stuff was late and cold! To boot - this old lady reached into her crotchal area of her spandex bicycle shorts and pulled out a handful of debit/gift cards and started handing them one by one asking to check them for money... Skeeeved out and very happy I always carry concealed - I walked out with perhaps the WORST PIZZA and SERVICE HANDS DOWN EVER! Almost $60 later in well over an hour wait we drove across the parking lot to a Wawa - and every single thing was thrown in the garbage! STEER CLEAR - read more

Great Chicago style deep dish pizza in Florida. Tastes the same as the one in Chicago. Delivery was faster than expected (gave 1.5 hours but was there in an hour). Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for good pizza. read more

Walked in on Friday evening and ordered Italian sub to go. Paid and waited outside for 20 minutes. Went back in to get order, and employee says we are out of sandwich. No manager to make things right, no care about their error, it's clear this business fails to consider their clients and making good on their mistake. How hard is it for kitchen to let cashiers know of outage ?? How do run a pizza place but run out of the rather normal and mundane Italian ingredients ?? Their should be a zero star option for businesses that fail so badly. read more

We went in at 3:45 PM. They were not that busy we walked in. No one acknowledged us. We waited about 10 minutes. I asked the server walking by if we were if someone was going to see us she said yeah the house you have to be waiti to be seated and walked off, and then the other lady kept staring at us and no one ever talk to us so we walked out. There was no other families waiting.. just worst service ever! read more

SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT This location continues to serve a 14" thin pizza as a 16" pizza and charging for a 16" pizza. When the pizza came to the table I asked are you sure this is a16"? Oh ya the waiter says. I knew for sure it was a 14" and had suspicion on a previous visit. So we asked for a box and I stopped the server and asked him to include the circle in the box. So he tries to slide the pizza in and looked at me with a surprised nervous look on his face and he says, You are right. Sure enough the box which even says on the bottom of the box it is a 14". So I politely asked to be charged correctly and to see the manager. The manager refused to come out and took $3 off the bill and it should have been $4.70 off. It's not the money, it's the principle! BUSTED! Sad that business' like this want to take advantage of people, especially tourists. TOURISTS BEWARE! read more

3rd visit in 4 years. Each time it has slowly been worse. This time they delivered another customers pizza along with one we ordered. So half the table got to eat while the other half waited 20 more minutes for another pizza to be made. No apology, no offer to remove the charge for the pizza. Don't waste your time or money, the staff couldn't care less that you are there. read more

Tonight my daughter and I ordered a deep dish pizza at 8:30pm for delivery. We were given a 10:06-10:16 window for delivery. At 10:13 the restaurant called and said our pizza was on the way and should be delivered in about 10 minutes. At 10:40pm I called the restaurant and was placed on hold for 33 minutes. I NEVER was able to speak with a manager- I was told they were dealing with another customer. Our pizza was finally delivered at 11:24pm. It was cold and was delivered without the plates and utensils I requested. I'm sure the pizza would have been delicious IF it had been hot, or even warm; however we will not know. Almost a 3 hour time frame from ordering until delivery is ridiculous. This was very disappointing. Customer service is definitely not a strong suit for this restaurant or the current management. read more

I have been coming to this location for more than 5 years when I visit the area. And so far our server this time was the best so far. When you come here ask to be sat with Paul W. Had three pizzas here, each with a different type of crust. By far, each of these crusts was the worst we have ever had. We were seriously disappointed having been regulars at Giordano's in Chicago. The server said they were a licensed franchise. Tight, small area by host stand makes it hard to actually enter the restaurant and have any sense of privacy. Regret going and will not be back. read more

Great customer service! Ordered food on Door Dash. The food was over 2 hours late. We were given a full refund for our food. We were told they had no drivers to delver the food. The restaurant personally delivered the food and apologized. Due to the pandemic and the reopening, the demand has been so high that their drivers were inundated with orders. They could not keep up and that is understandable because a lot of companies including our own have been really busy. They didn't have to deliver the food knowing they were not going to get paid. We tipped our driver and felt bad. The food was excellent. The pizza is everything it is hyped up to be. We will definitely order again from them. This is our small way of saying thank you read more

Gotta love the deep dish pizza, but on a sweltering day and in a restaurant that wasn't very cool (temp) made it a bit unpleasant. Not throwing shade on the joint as service was good and friendly and the pizza came out right on time and was super delicious. Even the calamari was really good, but we did have to remind our server tonight please fill up our drinks more often. He eventually did towards the end of our meal. I'll always go to a Giordanos as their food is consistent at each location. read more

Giordanos is my favorite pizza spot! Being from Chicago, I love deep dish and this has always been one of my fave spots. On this visit we got the mozzarella triangles and a deep dish pizza which were both amazing. Our server was on point and we can't wait to come back! read more

Worst pizza ever ate. Don't ever order from here. They gave a thin crust pizza which was so hard to eat that we threw it away. Called the shop and the guy adamantly says that's how it is made what can we do. Never ordering here again read more

Awesome food, awesome service! Our deep dish pies were fantastic. Yes, their prices are higher but for the quality, it's well worth it. Just to give you a perceptive one slice of pizza is more like 3-4 slices in one. I was sooo full off of one slice of pizza, a handful of salad and one chicken wing! Giordano's definitely will fill you up. We ordered 2 Chicago style deep dish pizzas: pepperoni with sausage and a vegetarian. Well, we all had take home for the evening for a party of 11. Just to give you some heads up, it takes 45 minutes for those pies to cook so I suggest to order the pies right away and take advantage of a few appetizers if you're hungry! Giordano's is a must for large parties and families! You will be very happy and full with the quality and amount of food received. read more

In town on vacation. Ordered 100 dollars of food for delivery to the hotel and received a little over 40 dollars worth. The thin crust pizza is maybe 1 step below grade school cafeteria level. Their "famous garlic bread" is some melted mozerella on a crusty tasteless ciabata. Downright nasty. If you think this place has good Italian food, you either A) don't know anything about Italian food or B) don't know that you don't know anything about Italian food. Offered to refund my money but didn't, wasn't at all surprised that they're shady as well. read more

Giordano is a famous Pizza Chain from Chicago. It is well known for its Deep Dish Pizza based on a old family recipe from Italy. It has a two crusts with Cheese between them. Disney Park goers know if they want a good pizza Giordano is a great place to try. So why did I rate it Two Stars when it could have been Five Stars? I would give the Pizza a Five Star Rating. Service a Two Star Rating. Cleanliness of the restaurant a One Star Rating. The pizza came out and was fantastic. It had lots of cheese stuffed between the two crusts. It was full of the ingredients we ordered. We ordered a small for two of us and we were hungry and still had leftovers. This restaurant could and should be cleaner. The Pizza Plate Stand has crumbs and sauce on it. If had noticed it before I ordered I would have left for another restaurant. Before our pizza came I asked a worker to switch out the stand because it was dirty. He walked over to the "clean" table next to us reached out for the stand. It was dirty as well. He stopped and walked over to another table and brought over the stand. He left the other dirty (I can see leftover food on it from seven feet away) rack on the table. The floor was grimy in spots. The bathroom looked clean. There are plenty of TVs for watching sports. You could probably see one from any seat. The sound for the TV above our table was on but it was just at a whisper. I would not go to this location due to it not being clean. I would try another one of their locations. read more

Pizza was alright. Cheese triangles were pretty good. Pizza was lukewarm when delivered. It was a cheese deep dish. Presumably it was a reheated pie cause it delivered 20-30 minutes early. I've had original deep dish in Chicago and this pizza was what you'd expect of a knock off wannabe. It's decent. read more

Their family style dishes are plenty for a family of 4. Service is quick and they are always very helpful. If I could give negative stars, I would. The thin crust and extra thin crust tastes like the cardboard they're served on. Absolutely no flavoring in the crust. I ordered a medium thin crust with mushrooms and jalapeños. The jalapeños were only in the center of my pizza and the mushrooms were nonexistent. My girlfriend got a small extra thin crust with green peppers and mushrooms easy on the sauce. The green peppers tastes like green beans, the mushrooms were nonexistent, and her dough tasted cold and frozen. My friend wasn't allowed to order off the children's menu even though she just recently had surgery and is unable to eat a normal adult meal. They forced her to buy something more than she can eat. We ordered take out this evening when we got into town. Our food was ready quickly for pickup. The Italian beef sandwich was quite tasty. As close to a Chicago beef as we've had in years. The two salads were fresh and the Caesar dressing was really good. The cheesy garlic bread was tasty. Nothing was over the top amazing but it was good quality and filled our bellies. was never a big fan of Giordano's in Chicago compared to Gino's East or Lou Malnalti's and that didn't change in Orlando. I got a personal stuffed crust pizza with sausage and green peppers. We both had the veal (their specialty) hubby had the veal picatta. I had the Marsala. Both very good. It came with a polenta fritter that was good, I'm not sure what was inside, it had a nice flavor, maybe pimentos? Even though tiramisu or crème brûlée is usually my go to if having dessert, we went for cannolis for a "lighter" option. Very good as well. The last one the list is ambiance. Beautiful tables, classy elegant restaurant, and tuxedoed waitstaff. Excellent!

At $34, the dish should have been much better, and should have contained edible braised beef in an appealing sauce.

Review of Giordano's in Orlando Our experience at Giordano's in Orlando was incredibly disappointing. We were excited to try their famous deep-dish pizza, but it was a total letdown. The dough tasted frozen and lacked any resemblance to real pizza dough--it was dense, bland, and almost inedible. We ordered one deep dish and one thin crust pizza, hoping the latter would fare better, but unfortunately, it didn't. Both pizzas were so bad we couldn't even finish a single slice. Spending $80 on this meal felt like a complete waste, and we were left hungry and frustrated. Given its reputation, we expected so much more from Giordano's, but this visit was nothing short of horrible. We won't be returning. read more

Worked here for more than 11 years in Orlando and while I have my own business who is thriving now and doing what I love, I could've never been able to be where I am without the Disney stores owner and help of Chicago corporate. I love my Life now but I miss making customers so happy immediate gratification, we would get celebrities coming in, corporate was so helpful always, highest health department standards in the state of Florida as mentioned by top 2 people of Health department! Terrible sauce less doughy pizza that was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Coming from Chicago I can say this is nothing like Chicago style deep dish. Horrible food and extremely overpriced. Avoid this place, there are multiple Chicago style pizza places with far better pizza. On a side note, we ordered spaghetti and they couldn't make spaghetti because apparently boiling pasta was too difficult and they called me to tell me they had to refund my order because they were not serving spaghetti. The photos are not even close to what we got. The photos make the food look amazing but what you get is not what was in the pictures. read more

The pizza is truly drool-worthy, but be prepared to wait! Their stuffed pizza is exceptional, the best I have ever had HANDS-DOWN. Also, it is super filling...I can usually devour half a pizza by myself, but I was full after one slice! That said, it takes 45 minutes to bake so either call ahead or be prepared to wait....and wait, and wait. The drink selection was lacking, soft-drinks but very limited wine and beer. Their sangria was meh. But let's face it, you are going in for the pizza, right? And you won't be disappointed! Only 5 minutes from Downtown Disney, so make the drive over if you are in the area. read more

Visited here for the 1st time on Sat 10 JAN 15. Ended up here after a horrible experience at a different location (separate review). Promptly greeted and seated. Promptly served. As anyone who has visited Giordano's knows, the pizza takes 40-45 minutes. As the appetizers were timed perfectly and were tasty, the 40 mins went quickly. Drinks were always full, server was very attentive without hovering and atmosphere was typical Giordano's. Pizza prices are a bit high but the food was excellent. read more

I went to try Giordano's because recently I went to chicago and had some deep dish pizza which was really good. Giordano's though, wasn't the same as what I had in Chicago. The issue I have with the place, is the long wait time- about an hour for a pizza, the high prices, and the lack of service. The pizza I did get, was Ok, but it really wasn't that great. The pizza in chicago is much better- these ones here in Florida just don't do it right. Though I ate it, it just wasn't that good. read more

Giordano's is a must-visit for deep-dish pizza lovers! The food was absolutely delicious--the pizza was flavorful, and worth every bite. The service with Mercedes was excellent, with her friendly and attentive demeanor made sure we had everything we needed. I'm from Chicago so this as real as Chicago pizza gets in Florida. The pizza tastes exactly the same as the Giordono's in Chicago which is absolutely spectacular. However, the service is extremely poor. I've been there twice in the past month and each time, I waited for more than ten minutes for the server to even greet us and ask us what we want to drink. Moreover, I waited forever to get a refill on my drink. The pizza is great, but the service is subpar. read more

We were so excited to try Giordano's after hearing great things, but what a disappointment! We ordered take-out, waited 25 minutes, and came home to a burned, overcooked pizza with a cardboard-like crust. Absolutely terrible. We were starving and didn't want to drive back and wait for a replacement. The only good part of our meal was my homemade Caesar salad. We even tipped! Definitely not worth the hype. read more

Bruno is amazing! He tries his best, while He is still new (only Couple of years ) , he gives his heart out to customers, honest guy, I remember he used to deliver pizzas to My Hotel before he became a manager and always same Polite, honest, willing to translate to Spanish speaking or Portuguese all the time, very nice guy! Horrible service! I live in the Chicago area and was staying at Disney and was somewhat excited to see Gios was here! Well, after 2 hours of waiting my food finally came to hotel! Pretty sure delivery driver was drunk, high, and whatever else! My food was cold when delivered! Needless to say I had a bite of pizza and left the rest in the hallway! Stuffed pizza at Giordano's was pretty good and different considering there's really no good pizza in Florida. But service seemed to lack. For such a huge restaurant, they just had 3 servers while we were there and they were struggling to handle all their tables at once. Besides the service though, I would say the pizza is great, but the pasta and salad dishes are horrible. read more

Customer service is horrible. Our waiter only came to the table to deliver our food and bill. Never came to make sure if everything was okay or if we needed anything. I would have to get up and ask someone to bring me things we needed. Only good thing was the cheesy garlic bread. Pizza was bland and tasteless (just dough loaded with lots of cheese). Food was mediocre. Salad was drenched in salad dressing with old wilted lettuce. Signature pizza dough was raw in the middle over cooked on the outside. Bland and not tasty. Not worth the calories.
