Terrrible experience all around! Freezing cold inside even though its oh i dont know 47 deg outside!. No one is playing host/ hostess. I literally had to walk up to the take out desk and say hi. I sat myself. I order, and yes i was warned that the deepdish takes 45 min. Ill give them that. 45 min later...my waitress comes by and she told me she dropped my pizza! They were unusually expensive which I was initially ok with considering how good I anticipated the food to be. But when I tasted the food it was garbage. I ordered the Chicago stuffed style pizza. We came here for a very affordable dinner after a long flight. It was within walking distance from our hotel which was perfect. The hotel also offered a free appetizer when you show them the ad from a coupon booklet. Flyers with the coupon at the back are also available at the front so you don't need to get the coupon at a hotel for the free appetizer :) Beware of the pushy lady who owns a touristy kiosk thing across from the restaurant who will try to earn some $ from the restaurant by "recommending/referring" you to eat at the place!!!! You can get the free appetizer from the other ways I listed above instead! Service was okay. The waitress was about average in terms of attentiveness, efficiency, and speediness. She was very friendly and nice, though. However, she served us hot water with lemon in a tall glass and with a plastic straw. That was really weird - you can't hold a glass full of hot water, and the straw could be leaking chemicals into the water due to the heat! Anyway, I guess it's not a well known thing to get hot water there or something. There was a balloon guy coming around and making balloon animals for everyone. I guess it's a very family friendly place. Pretty neat to have someone do this - it's the first time I've seen it. Meal portions were huge. We could have shared 2 things among the 3 of us probably. We all got sandwiches. I would have liked a deep dish pizza but we knew we wouldn't be able to finish and we didn't want leftovers. They were very reasonably priced, as I remember, and they each came with a side. Our free appetizer was so good. I think normally they cost $7-9 which is ridiculous because although it was good, it was super small. The bread was super cheesy and came with a marinara sauce for dipping, probably what they use on pizza. It matched really well and was super delicious! Although the appetizer came fast, our mains took forever to get there, for sure longer than average. Two of us got the same sandwich - the chicken club. I got mine with Caesar salad and my dad got it with fries and ranch dip. It was a large sandwich with a giant chicken breast inside, as well as bacon, sauce, lettuce, and tomato. The bread was really good and the pesto was yummy. The bread was ciabatta and crispy. The Caesar salad had too much sauce but still good of course. Fries were skinny and a little tasteless and wimpy, like a worse version of McDonald's fries. My mom got the meatball sub. She liked it and it had the same delicious marinara sauce as the free appetizer. She got it with the soup of the day, which was minestrone and very salty. In the end, it was an okay place to grab a bite before beginning our more pricey part of the trip. The food was good, service and food took a little long, and the free appetizer was a plus. My husband and I went to Giordanos hoping it would be as good as it was in Chicago. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Where do I begin? We were seated in a timely manner. However, it took 15 minutes before a waiter came to the table. I was talking to my husband asking if anyone would ever wait on us. A snippy waitress asked if I was talking to her. I told her we just wondered where our waiter was. Luckily, she did get someone to come & he did apologize for the delay. We ordered the ravioli appetizer which came very fast. It tasted stale & didn't have a lot of flavor. Then my husband's meatball sandwich came shortly after. I will say my husband is tough on meatballs & so am I. Even still these were not good. They were extremely bland. Not good at all. He had to remind them to bring his soup, which actually was very good. Even though on the menu it says the stuffed pizzas take 45 minutes, I think they should do a better job of checking on you in the meantime & making sure you have drinks. Luckily, they left the water pitcher on the table next to us and I was able to refresh our drinks multiple times. I should have taken half the tip. The stuffed pepperoni pizza finally came. It looked like the one I had in Chicago. It didn't taste bad, but it wasn't as good as the pies in Chicago. After the whole experience, I would never go back & wouldn't recommend it. Too many other good options in the area. The balloon man was the best part of the experience. He was wonderful to the children. Giordani's main food is pizza. They have many choices and we've had them on former visits and enjoyed them. But when we went on 10/13/22, we had meatball subs. They were plentiful of meatballs, sauce and cheese. I had Italian wedding soup as a side; it was very good. My husband had a side of Parmesan French fries. They were outstanding. Normally he leaves most of them, but he thoroughly enjoyed theses. We had sweet tea and it was served to us by the bartender. He was an amicable, friendly guy whom we enjoyed talking with. There were a steady stream of people having pick-up orders; a sign of a great restaurant. We'll be returning next time we're in Orlando. Just wish they had more Italian dishes on the menu. read more

Where to begin...waiter finally takes our drink order, sets it on adjacent table, then disappears. This becomes a recurring theme fraught with "sorry for the wait". By the way, ever meet a waiter that doesn't understand sweetener on the side of an iced tea? Yeah, this place has one. Then comes the calamari, which is better described as fried onions, fried banana peppers and a few bits of calamari in a bowl about 6" across. Nearly the entire time the waiter who we need to track down for drink refills promises that he'll bring out these pizzas as soon as they come out, so it's a pretty empty message. Mind you, this is on a Sunday around 2:30 pm. Pro tip here is if you want dinner, order at lunch. At 4:00, we get the 2 minute warning. 5 minutes more and it finally arrived... and it's disappointing. Crust is more like a Crostini than a deep dish pie. Not worth the wait. With so many good places to go in the area, UNO's would be an upgrade from this. And that's not a high bar to set. And to add insult to injury? They charged an 18% "service charge" on top of the order. We saw it, spoke with manager at the counter and firmly told them we weren't paying that based on the lack of service we got. He blamed the rain for getting so busy. The restaurant was mostly empty and rain happens daily here. Ok so I didn't know this was a chain. Just wanted a good pizza after a day at the parks. This was not it 71 dollars later for 2 thin crust pizzas and 8 chicken wings was a crime. We went to Disney all day and we were exhausted and starving! There's not a lot of options super late at night and a couple of other places were a bust. I was super excited to see there was a Giordanos nearby. They closed at 11 and we were those people walking in at 10:20 and were kind of scared it would be too late (we had been to a few places while in Florida that closed earlier than they were supposed to and turned us away). Also since we had been to other Giordano locations before, we knew the deep dish crust can take a while to make. However, we walked in and met some of the friendliest people ever! Everybody who worked there was so so nice and welcoming. They definitely didn't act like we were coming in last minute! We never felt rushed or anything. My wife and I were in the mood for a good Chicago style pizza after a day at Disney. We ordered the Chicago special and it tasted a bit bland. After getting the left over home we realized there was no pepperoni or mushrooms on the pizza. We ordered it with no green peppers but all it had was onion and cheese. Later, I heard a waiter say that they were out of pepperoni. We were never told. I thought I misunderstood. We also had to flag our waiter down several times or ask someone to get him to refill our sodas and bring the check. When you're going to pay $35 for a pizza, the least you can do is give us what we ordered or offer a substitute. read more

I've been to the other Giordano's in Kissimmee so this is the first time I've been here. Once again, my mother and I got a small deep dish pizza with mushrooms and black olives (because that's all the toppings we can agree on hahaha). We were told that it takes about 40 minutes to be done, which is the norm and it's soooo worth the wait. I love the decor which is mostly Chicago memorabilia and looking at all of it throughout the restaurant certainly makes the time go by faster. We got the pizza and took it back to our villa. A small is definitely enough for two people, six big slices. I don't believe someone could eat a whole one in one sitting. The pizza is stuffed full of gooey cheese and deliciousness. While vacationing we thought we'd give Giordanos A try. Last night we placed an order for delivery at 5:07pm and was quoted a delivery time between 6:07-6:17pm. After several calls to Giordanos without any help to understand where our order was or if/when we would receive, it finally arrives at 8:01pm. I spent over $70 dollars on 1 personal, 2 small pizzas and a side of calamarI. Upon opening our food, you could tell it had sat for a long time and was cold to the touch. I ordered a mushroom and green pepper thin crust pizza. My beer came perfectly cold and with a frosted glass while I waited for my pizza. I have to say it was, by far, the worst pizza I have had at a restaurant. The crust was stiff and flavorless, like sauce and cheese on thick cardboard. There was abundant mozzarella but the sauce was thin and also not very flavorful. For a small pizza it was about $18. Being our first night on our vacation pizza was definitely a very comforting and superior option for dinner plans to feed a group of 11. We've got a very eclectic range of tastes so our order was, simply put, more complicated than usual. We were able to narrow it down to 2 of the largest pizzas split with different flavor combinations on each half, and the family size salad. We ordered it online and picked it up in store.
