Good enough :) Arriving into town..originally wanted NY style, but got a craving for deep dish.....pulled yelp up....and found Giordano's (which I have eaten at in Chicago). The pizzas are huge, even for a small. Wife and I and my two girls didn't finish a medium, so small would have been a fine. We ordered a make your own, with a few ingredients. It does take a while (we knew this, no surprise). While it tasted great, it didn't come out hot...sent it back...still not really hot when it came back out. Was so hungry it didn't matter. Excellent service and the pizza taste amazing. It remains a bit pricey but you definitely get you monies worth. We ordered the wings as well and they had excellent flavor. In town vacationing and totally forgot that they had a Giordano's. Glad I saw it on Yelp an d the reviews held steady that it was a solid choice overall. My boyfriend picked up a cheese deep dish from here on a Saturday evening around 9pm. Disclaimer: not my first time experiencing deep dish...had a triple meat deep dish from Giordano's in Chicago a couple years back. Never knew they had any locations in Florida, let alone Orlando! A complete random find on the way back from the store. Thoughts: good...but we prefer New York style, thin crust. I like deep dish if there's a mix of meat and/or veggies, but heaps of all cheese is just too much. Would have liked a side of marinara for extra dipping if anything. I love deep-dish pizza. I've been to other locations and this was just as good. In case you've never been to any, their big selling point is their Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. BUT it take 40 minutes to make one. So you'll want to order an appetizer while you wait. The first time we came we didn't want to get an appetizer but after waiting a bit we caved. Ordered a carry out pizza. Build your own Chicago style pie. Pepperoni, mushroom and sausage. No need for extra cheese-- believe me. We've been to Giordano's in Chicago, Las Vegas and here in Orlando. I'm not sure why, but the Orlando locations haven't been quite as good the last several years. Seems to be a saltier crust. We didn't order the deep dish pizza because it looked it was too much. We ordered a thin crust large pizza with tomatoes and mushrooms . Nothing complicated. It took forever for the pizza to come to our table. But that is not my complaint. It was the worst pizza we have ever tried.! When you think pizza can't not be messed up, somehow this place did it. The dough was horrible, like a flavorless cracker type. My kids are not picky and not even they ate the pizza. We ate only the the toppings because we were starving and left the dough/ crust. Friends from Huntington Beach, CA heard about the restaurant and wanted to give it a try during their visit. We made a reservation for 12 and were seated in a room with another party of 24 and several other tables. This room had one waitress serving everyone. They may keep minimal staff because each pizza takes 45 minutes to cook and it appears as free time. What they are not taking into consideration is that within the 45 minutes guests may decide on an appetizer, another beer or a drink refill. We ordered the large deep dish pizza ($35.50) and house salads. ($4.95 each) The pizza was cooked perfectly and it was very cheesy. They did not skimp on the ingredients. This the first time I've ever had true Chicago style pizza. I ordered the cheese Chicago style pizza... the crust was bland and cardboard like. The sauce was tasty and sweet. Overall the pizza was stuffed with so much cheese that it was just entirely too heavy and one slice left me feeling blah. When warm, the cheese spilled out all over the sides, making it very messy and difficult to eat. The pizza was better cold the next day, but I felt like I was just chomping down on a block of cheese (the crust was not better the second day). My husband ordered the thin crust pizza and the crust was terrible! Bland, dry and flavorless. His pizza has barely any sauce at all. He barely ate it. I also had a side Greek salad, which was a basic Greek salad with a vinaigrette.Nothing special about it, but it was okay. Oy, Giardano"s. You better hope Dad in Chicago doesn't find out how you're destroying the reputation he worked so hard to build and perfect. I visit the Chicago locations often as they're my preference for good Chicago pizza. I feel like we've been to this location as well the last time we were in Orlando a few years ago. I guess I should've checked the recent Yelp reviews because it would've saved us a trip. Hopefully management reads this and all the other recent reviews, takes them seriously, and takes action to correct them before it's too late. I'm surprised when we get in around 8:30 to see the place more than half empty. We're shown to one of the available tables. Of course, it's one that's been cleared but hasn't been wiped down, so it's dirty. Table and booth get wiped, so now they're wet for the next several minutes. Waitress (kind of young woman with tattoos and reddish hair pulled back in a bun) comes to take our drink and food order. We just get a medium cheese deep dish for the three of us to split. Waitress says it'll be 35 mins. This surprises me because the deep dish usually takes 45 mins. Great, we say. She departs. And doesn't come back. For seemingly ever. We could use some water, but we've got no waitress. My wife starts feeling nauseous because it's so hot inside, but can't get a water. Because we've got no waitress. Did she go on break? Did she go home? Did she quit? She finally flags down another waitress and gets a water. 30 mins after ordering, another family comes in to sit, and someone apparently wakes up our waitress because she's out to greet them. She asks if we need anything while she's already here, and we say no. She comes back with drink refills for my wife and daughter, even though their drinks are full, but not for me even though my drink has less in it. She then goes again. At 40 mins she comes out to let us know our pizza only has 15 mins left. Wait a minute, that puts it at 55 mins. What happened to 35 mins? Well, it's 35-45 mins, she says now even though she didn't say it before. Ok, but what about the extra 15 mins. "Oh, I don't know what's going on back there", she tells us, "I don't make the pizza. I just say what they tell me." Really? How about an apology for the long wait?!? She really needs to learn some customer service skills. 10 mins later, she finally brings the pizza out. I don't know if I'd say it was bad, and I couldn't really pinpoint what was wrong with it, but it wasn't the amazing pizza I always get in Chicago. Cheese and sauce didn't seem to have much flavor, and the crust, which I usually love, seemed a little stale and I had no desire to eat it. BTW, my drink, which was empty before I started my second slice, was never offered to be refilled. Sad, Giardano's. Very sad. I'll stick with the Chicago locations from now on. I grew up near Chicago and have always enjoyed real deep dish pizza. It's been along time since I've had it and this place delivered! There are a few other restaurants that offer a deep gash and they're good, but nothing compares the experience like that here. My boyfriend had a traditional pizza and was very happy with that, it looked very good. I was offered a slice but declined, I wanted to enjoy my cheesy masterpiece. I can't say anything other than this was one of the best deep dish experiences of my life. I love cheese, almost as much as I love my mother. The sauce was tiny and the crust was crispy. Oh Giordano's, you sandlot are one of my my favorite pizza chains, I have eaten there in several different places, from Vegas, to Columbus, Ohio, to even here before. But, living here, you find little places that you love, but still, ever once and a while you want that sense that you're on vacation, so that's why last night I turned to Giordano's, hoping to get that escape that it always reminds me of. Where do I begin, i ordered online, so that whole process was pretty painless aside from the fact that you are required to pay with card. You have absolutely no option to pay with cash. I don't know if this is a glitch, but this could be a huge detractor for some people when ordering a pizza. I chose to pick up the pizza, because I have heard of some horror stories from this location. That's where everything that was going well ended. Now comes the beginning of the worst Giordano's experience I have ever had. I come to pick up the pizza a few minutes after I was quoted online due to being stuck in traffic and it still wasn't ready. I asked for an ETA and they said "Soon". Just so everyone can be made aware, soon means 10-15 minutes. I get my pizza, was not offered any type of cutlery, plates, napkins, pie slicer. None of the Togo, accessories that you would get without question at any other Giordano's. The person just didn't seem to care, shoved me aside and moved on the the next guest. Sadly the line was too long to wait, and luckily I am a local and have everything needed at home, I was just trying, again, to treat myself and have an experience of being on Vacay. Now, onto the pizza.... this poor thing. I ordered the BBQ Bacon Chicken pizza and from the outside it look okay. Which, had me excited, even after the experience I just had. Slice one, where's the chicken? Where's the caramelized onion? Oh, I see a few pieces of bacon. Wait why is there so much BBQ sauce on this pizza? Those were the thoughts going through my head as I started dissecting the pizza with my husband. There came a point where we just laughed because we were so disgusted. There was no caramelized onions, very little chicken. By very little, I mean we at this pizza like an open face sandwich, and there was maybe a total of 6 little pieces. There was an okay amount of bacon. What the true advertisement should be, is a crust with 1" this slab of melted cheese that is covered in cups of BBQ sauce. So much BBQ sauce that you can tilt the pizza over, pour some off and make your own BBQ chicken tomorrow, because you sure aren't getting any on your pizza. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had. It really saddens me, because I do really love Giordano's. Overall, it seems like they may have a kitchen staff that just doesn't care anymore, or mismanagement. I do hope that they can get their act together. As an addendum, as you can see per the comment on this review someone did reach out. Per their request I did email them. It has now been almost a week if not longer and I have not received a response. So it sadly appears that even corporate doesn't care at this point. read more

If I'm being completely honest, their pizza was not what I had expected at all considering it's an Italian place. Our waitress strongly recommended the deep dish pizza and I think that it's because it's the only good pizza on their menu. Their non deep dish pizza is considered their thin pizza which came out served in a piece of cardboard, making my party and I think that it was frozen pizza. The pizza did not also taste well at all. The bread was hard like cardboard and the cheese wasn't tasty either. Digiorno is better than this pizza. I think the taste was comparable to frozen tombstone pizza but I didn't even think it's better than frozen tombstone. If you want pizza, you're better off enjoying domino's or Pizza Hut that's right across. read more

I've never had a bad experience here and that continued this visit. I decided to take my department and their spouses out to dinner and was looking for somewhere good, but that wasn't going to break the bank. We had a party of 10 and I called ahead. They said they would be ready for us and they were. Chicago-style pizza takes a LONG time to cook. Especially large ones. I called about an hour before we arrived and got the pizzas in the oven. This is pretty much a must unless you plan on being there forever. If you came in blind, that would probably suck. We had Carlos as our server and he did a great job with our group. He was extremely lively and on the ball. We had 10 drinks and a bunch of apps put in and he let me know when our pizzas were ready. He insisted on personally serving each of us our slices. He was kind and attentive. The food was good and we enjoyed ourselves. I've been here solo. I've been here with my wife. I've been here with a good-sized group. All the experiences have been solid. This isn't a fine dining location, but you'll have a fine time. read more

The food, while tasty (earning the two stars), was cold. We found ourselves reheating our pizzas in the oven, a practice that did not do justice to, what others have reviewed as, decent deep dish pizza. We received no updates on the order and, once we called to check on the status, were promised a delivery within 10 minutes (we had been waiting an hour and 20 minutes at that point). It wasn't until the one hour and 45 minute mark that we received contact from the delivery driver. This may be a decent dine-in experience, but a delivery situation, unless you don't mind cold food and a long wait, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I was just trying to find something different to eat last night. Giordano's looked pretty good and was suggested by the hotel I was staying at. I ordered the chicken fettuccine with brocoli, the garlic parmesan fries, and the tiramisu. Problem 1: The food took an hour and a half to be delivered. It was cold. The delivery driver was really nice though. Problem 2: There was raw chicken in my fettuccine. This was the major problem I had with my order. My girlfriend called to resolve the issue and the lady refused to help at all. They said they only used pre-cooked meat for their food, and that it was impossible to be raw. (The fact that they charge $14 for a pre-made pasta dish made me even more upset than i already was.) The lady didn't seem to think it was their responsibility to make sure that the "pre-cooked" meat was pre-cooked either. The only thing I actually enjoyed was the tiramisu, which seemed to be the only pre-cooked item there worth eating. The fries were to soggy to enjoy, and the pasta was inedible due to the raw meat. Terrible service. Will not eat there again. I don't recommend it in the slightest. If you're in the mood for Italian, don't choose this overpriced garbage. read more

After a long day at Disney World we decided to come here. I saw this restaurant the night before we when drove pass. There are no deep dish pizzas back home. I had Giordanos one time in Las Vegas at the ready to go take out counter so it wasn't fresh. We got here are there was no line so we were seated right away. We ordered the Giordano's sampler, soup, and pepperoni deep dish pizza. Not sure why but it took forever for the food to come out. The sampler was good because we got to taste the different appetizers. It came with cheese bread, chicken wings, bruschetta. The deep dish pizza wasn't too good. I'm not sure if it was cooked all the way and the crust was bland. I would have to go to Chicago to make my final verdict. read more

This place was recommended by our hotel. It really wasn't good. Not even a little. I asked for no onions and added artichokes on my salad. It came with onions and no artichokes. The honey mustard dressing was SO spicy! Never had that happen. Made the whole salad awful. The pizzas were not good either. The Crust reminded me of pizza from Chucky Cheese. Like cardboard.
