After a long day at Disney, it was great to find a nice place to sit down and eat at. This Giordano's location is just outside Disney Springs. We wanted a break from the crowds and came across this place while driving to our hotel. Giordano's is one of Chicago's most popular pizzerias (I don't do the debate thing on which one is best) They got their start in the 70's and now have locations in many states. I wanted to introduce my dad to Chicago-style stuffed pizza because he had never tried it. The restaurant itself is pretty nice inside. We also had pretty decent service to begin with. The stuffed pizza takes 45 minutes to prepare when you order it. Even though we were starving, we decided to wait it out. They were busy that night and the kitchen was backed up. After an hour we found out that once our pizza was ready, it was accidently grabbed for a take-out order and sent out. So we had to wait an additional 45 minutes for another pizza. I think we were here for two and a half hours total. Even though we got our food bill taken care of, it was pretty sad how unorganized things were the night that we were here. And on top of it, our server stopped coming to our table because he probably got tired of apologizing and felt we wouldn't tip him. Giordano's makes a pretty good pie, but this location was severely lacking on this particular night. read more

We are obsessed with this place, I mean my husband didn't and really still doesn't stop talking or bringing it up. Our little loved the spaghetti and meatballs, the chicken wings were full of flavor and thick, not all boney. The garlic cheese bread was AMAZING and the pizza was AMAZING!!!! The pizza was seriously the best we have ever had. We had to fly home and my husband wanted to see how we could take some and savor it, maybe even buy a location LOL. Seriously. We loved it. My party, including myself, is from Chicago. We moved to Florida long ago, and this is as close as we can get to our hometown pizza. The service at this location during our visit was exceptional. Having grown up in Chicago, I grew up with great deep dish pizza. The carry out host Zara was also very helpful. Overall great experience!

If you want a cheese pull Instagram video and nothing else, you can't go wrong with Giordano's. It's a block of string cheese so large your lactose pill will balk at the task. If you want a pizza that has evenly spaced toppings, enough sauce to negate the literal pounds of mozzarella, and a light and buttery crust, you should probably look elsewhere. Outside of the cheese, the rest of the pizza consistently misses the mark. The only positive I remember about the pizza was pulling a slice and the banana peppers on top. Everything else seemed like an after thought, especially the crust which was closer to a cracker because of how dry it was. You'd think chocking down the crust would be made easier with the amount of sauce they put on top but it's really not - the pizza is like a black hole for moisture and sauce. You're not sure where it goes but by the time you take three bites, you're stuck with a brick of cold cheese and a self loathing reminder of Florida's mediocre food options. This isn't a knock on the people who work here though - they were all great and super pleasant throughout the pickup process, quick as it was. I'd usually recommend dining in instead of takeout for a meal like this as a means of giving it another shot but I've already been to the Giordano's in Chicago, eaten there, and have still walked away feeling the same way. Restaurant looked great. Pizza was ok. Kids loved it. We ordered a thin crust with mushrooms and pepperoni. The "toppings" were buried under the cheese. Lots of cheese. Can't imagine if we ordered extra cheese. Flavorful, yet too cheesy for myself. Pizza was cut in squares. Friendly staff. Pizza was to be ready between 5:20 and 5:30. It was marked that it came out at 5:02. Needless to say, it was just warm when we got it. We were located just across the street from restaurant, so it wasn't because we traveled far with it. This pizza had chicken sausage since some in my party did not eat pork, green peppers and onions. This pizza was truly delicious. When in Orlando... deep dish pizza must be had! The boys like Hawaiian Pizza and the waiter Paul was so accommodating! He had the small pizzas from the kids menu made into Hawaiian pizzas with Canadian bacon and pineapple. They loved them! My daughter (an adult) and I shared a small deep dish and had leftovers! We asked for her half to include pepperoni and pineapple. Just look at that cheese! It's like what you see in commercials! The service was top notch! Thank again Paul! You made it a great experience! The ambiance was nice as always. Last night was a slow night from what I heard them say. And from what I've experienced too. I thought we would have to wait but we got seated right away. I went at this place with a family of 10, server was really nice and we ordered 2 Deep Pizzas, I had almost one untouchable pizza because was one was enough for us since the slices was very generous and the Pizza was rich in cheese and pepperoni, bacon and all of the good things to make the pizza great. However, one of the pizzas that I brought home, the top wasn't uncooked well, you really could tell, I did put on microwave to warm up and oven right after, too still uncooked: ( Wife did complaint about her stomach for a few days after she ate at restaurant and the one I brought home it really didn't have a good turnout :( Disappointed because it isn't a cheap pizza. Well, I then before I written this review here about our experience, o decided to sent an email (message) using their website and never heard back from them. When you go, make sure that the Too is cooked, because that can really hurts your stomach, it usually takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to be ready to eat, be patient. A very decent visit to Giordano's. We were craving some deep dish pizza so we found ourselves here. The restaurant was clean and bright and the service was good. We started with their boneless wings in bbq sauce, which were good with nice crispy outside. The spaghetti bolognese leaves a bit more to be desired, as it didn't have much salt or sauce but just lots of meat in minimal sauce. The menu states that the deep dish pizzas take about 45 minutes to bake, which is very good to be up front about since it did feel like we were waiting a while. The pizza itself was huge and filling and had lots of toppings. I liked that the bottom crust holds up the rest of the pizza even with all of the heavy fillings. Overall a good visit. All I can say is yum!! We arrived and it was super busy, like most places they were short staffed but we're doing their best to accommodate everyone. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Our pineapple ham and cheese pizza looked like they put ham and cheese on it, melted the cheese and then sprinkled with pieces of pineapple which wasn't put through the oven. Very different. Was great being able to enjoy them in Orlando, however they were a little skimpy on the toppings. Plenty of cheese and sauce, but not much meat on the pepperoni, salami, and mushroom we ordered. Was my first time being able to expose my wife to Chicago deep dish pizza. A better portioning of meat would've sent this over the top. This was my second time visiting the ole Giordano's and it was a pretty good time! A Friday night with no wait ...was the first winner for me. My table mates and I were promptly seated and our server came and took drink orders shortly after. It was a long day, so we knew what we wanted to order immediately. lol. No wait necessary. The table ordered a large cheese pizza, Buffalo wings with blue cheese, a Caesar salad, cheesy bread and fries for the kids. After about 20 mins, the salad and bread came out.. then the wings and pizza. No problems here. Everything was the way I imagined it; especially that bread. It may have exceeded my expectations tbh. Our server was good and kept our drinks topped off and was super attentive to everyone's needs. The only concern I had was with the blue cheese. There were lots of bubbles in it........and it was kinda disturbing lol. As I dipped my wing...the bubbles were popping...so I decided to avoid a food poisoning event and leave that stuff alone. I thought it may have been some sort of oxidation....but I wasn't feeling overly curious lol. All in all...everything was great. My kid and I visiting from Texas and wanted some good pizza. The dough was like a thick tortilla and dry. I asked for onions, peppers and sausage. The veggies were raw. I'm not kidding when I say a frozen pizza would have been way better and cheaper ($27)! We are 3 pieces and had to throw the rest in the trash. Wanted to try some pizza went this restaurant cause I'm on vacation and this was the closest restaurant to my hotel room. When I tried to pull a slice only half was pulled the other half was still connected to the rest of the pizza. When i tasted the pizza it was the most blandest crap I've ever tasted the dough was definitely store bought . I looked under the pizza to see if it was fully cut into slices like I asked and it was not, so I proceed to call the store and asked why wasn't this pizza cut all the ways through. She said we mark the cuts on our carry-out pizzas. This makes no sense for people who are staying in hotels that don't have the right cutlery on hand at my hotel, so now i have to go find something to cut this with so i can enjoy this bland crap!!!! read more

Yesterday was a long travel day from CA. and when I saw they had one here in Fl., we immediately called in an order 2 pizzas. The chicken & bacon needed more chicken. The BBQ chicken pizza was so smothered in sauce that you couldn't taste anything else. They got the crust right & very cheesy, so don't order "extra cheese." DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! If I could give zero: I would. We called about 45 minutes before close as our flight had just got in and we called to ask if it was too late to dine in. They said absolutely not and we are welcome to come. We got there and were greeted to sit and taken to the back corner. Waited 25-30 minutes and not even a drink was offered to us. No one came to the table and multiple servers stared right at us and ignored us. We totally get If you wanted to go home and not serve us you could have said that. We wasted time going to your establishment to never get served But for everyone in the restaurant to ignore us was wild. We ended up leaving. The hostess(light skinned girl with Afro) needs to do a better job at making sure the tables she seats get greeted. Terrible terrible customer service don't waste your time coming here. read more
