I purchased a chopped salad, assuming it would be equivalent to a Portillo's chop salad. My order lacked the chicken which was advertised in the salad and the salad mix appeared to be supplied from a bag of mixed green from a wholesale supplier. I'm not mad about the $13 dollar salad comprised of wholesale mixed green (~$5-10 for a large bag for multiple salads) without chicken, but I'm disappointed because I hoped the Giordanos salad would be equivalent, or similar, to a Portillo's chopped salad. While eating my chickenless Giordano's chopped salad this evening, a large piece of machine mis-cut cabbage left a very bitter taste in my mouth, so I decided to share my experience with others. Stick to pizza and you should be ok. If you wanted a chopped salad, I recommend Portillo's. Told him about the service tonight he said he apologize for how things went and would speak to the bartender about the slowness of his drink refills. Manager spoke to him and walked away. So, this is going to be my first review for this location even though we've visited it a bunch. Don't really eat inside anymore, always just took too long and service was so-so, so we started just doing takeout instead. Random lady ends up sitting down next to me mumbling something about how ridiculous this is. We start talking and she had placed an order for pickup scheduled 10-15 mins AFTER mine. Fast forward THIRTY minutes later and they call her name for her pizza. I go to the counter and politely ask about the status of my pizza. It's a different girl now, but she literally gives me the talk to the hand thing, yells something rude and walks away! It was honestly sad but funny at the same time. I mean, sorry for asking about my pizza that was supposed to be ready 30 mins ago, like 15 mins before hers, and was ordered HOURS ago. The icing on the cake though was when she came back with my pizza and her manager walked up and actually gave me attitude. The manager , I was told her name was Suri, was a horrible person. We were sitting in the bar area, it was pretty busy. Our beer was up at the bar, we were waiting for awhile for our drinks so my husband went up to the bar to get it. This manager started SCREAMING at him in front of EVERYONE and making a huge scene. 1 is generous, as was my husbands very polite $5 tip- more than I would've gave. Server was non existent, we sat 15+ mins no drink orders and the restaurant was not busy. No drink refills for 15+ mins after beers were empty in a restaurant where we were only one of a few tables. While the employees were very friendly and courteous, the pizza failed us and tiramisu was a bigger disappointment than Obamacare. This place was nice and my favorite place to go to for dinner, but now I have a change of heart due to my recent visit. I waited over 2 hours for a burnt pizza. They knew it came out too dark and offered it to me to eat while they fix me another on - ( keep in mind I already waited 2 hours for a regular large pizza with one topping). The crazy part was the manager "Joe" never came out to address the issue at hand, and he wasn't busy. I seen in thru the pizza window in the back just talking to the pizza making guys. So I left... The waitress told me that the manager said for me to leave my phone number and he was going to call me to give me credit on my next dinner and Joe never did... After coming to town to visit family, I was able to gather the majority of my nieces and nephews and take them out to dinner. Giordano's was suggested as the place to go. After being seated our waiter "Derek" came to us and asked if we were ready to order due to the wait on the pizzas (45 min for deep dish and 30 for thin). That wasn't a problem, as it gives us time to talk and catch up. We gave him our drink order and once back we gave our order. 1 deep dish and 2 thin crust pizzas. This is where it goes down hill! We waited almost 90 minutes for our pizzas!!! In that time "Derek" came by once to refill a couple glasses. At one point after not seeing him for a while, my sister was able to catch him and he told us about 15 more minutes . 35 minutes later our pizzas came out!!! The deep dish pizza came out first (even though it was supposed to take the longest to cook). And it was not burnt but over cooked! The other pizzas arrived minutes later and they were fine. Throughout all of this there was not one apology given by our waiter "Derek". The manager came out later (as I'm paying and gave what I will call an half-assed apology. Saying that "they were not on their A-game tonight!" But yet I have to still pay "A-game" prices. This could have been a way better experience if Derek would have stopped by the table every now and then, checking on us as well as our food. It seems as if we were forgotten. A..."Sorry your food is taking a long time", or "let me go check on why your food is taking so long" goes a long way! Potential customers if visiting this location, check seating and maybe call your order in before you arrive. That way you won't have the 2.5 - 3 hour pizza experience we had. I rarely leave a bad review for restaurants, but the fiasco that took place yesterday is beyond acceptable. Placed an online order early afternoon for a 6pm pickup time, especially knowing how slammed places would be on New Years Eve. One would think that would be more than sufficient time for an establishment to have the order ready promptly at that the requested time and surely enough time to let us know if they were having an issue with our order being ready at that time. Fast forward to the 6pm pickup time, my husband arrives promptly expecting our order to be ready for curbside pickup. Calls the restaurant repeatedly and no one picks up the line once. Goes in soon after the failed attempts to reach someone, and then waits for about 20 minutes past the pickup time since they told him they were "looking for the order" - only to see person after person arrive after him and leave with their orders first. He goes up to the cashier again, except this time he is told that they "lost the order"! One can only wonder how long they would have made him wait for the order had he not gone up again to inquire. They did offer to remake the order and issue a refund, but only if he waited during that entire time as they could not deliver it to us. We opted for the refund and declined the offer to make the order again given the possibility of more mistakes happening. Also, during this same duration of time, another lady walked out disappointed without her order as well - perhaps another case of a "lost order." Needless to say, this will be our last time doing business with this Giordano's location. Perhaps new management is needed to run things more smoothly, but until that time, all the best! read more

Normally Giordanos is pretty consistent. Nothing special here. We sat in the bar and service was almost non existent. Bartender was too busy socializing then checking on her tables. I could understand if they were busy but there were only one other table in the bar area. Won't be back to this location. read more

8-2-2019 Honestly the Pizza tastes as great as always. My issue was how they cut the pizza, I wished I had taken a picture 2 pieces oversized, 2 slices way undersized. 4 slices somewhat normal. How in the heck do we share something like that with another couple??? It really ruined the meal, I only had one slice so I could make sure my guest would have enough, instead of having 8 evenly slices pieces where no one would have even worried!!! I'm sorry but when we wait 50 minutes and pay a premium price, it should be properly portioned!! Man some of these reviews are just crazy.. maybe a few months ago there was still a staff shortage (which has been everywhere) I don't know but my experience today was great. I came with my two girls for a mommy date night and they loved being able to see the pizzas being made. I kept asking them to stay out of the way but ya know kids. Everyone was really nice about it though and reassured us they were ok. One of the delivery drivers even hooked them up with some treats at the end! Great food great staff thank you! read more
