I can't believe it's taken me so long to review this place. We've been eating here for years. I don't live in the area anymore, but every time I come back I have to stop in. The calzone is my favorite. It's just the right amount of dough to filling. The sweet sauce MAKES the dish. Well any dish, really. Make sure to get extra sweet sauce with whatever you order! Ordered pizza and wings online at 3:15 pm on a Sunday afternoon. I didn't at all expect it to be a busy time. Paid via credit card upfront and included a decent tip, especially considering it's a pickup order. Received order confirmation while on my way. Order was promised in twenty minutes. Google Map estimated 18 minutes eta. Arrived at about that time and once waited on I was told the order was still being worked on and should ready in just a moment. Several others were waiting when I arrived and the dining room was crowded. After a thirty minute wait with no update I inquired again repeating my name. Was told "It's just about to come out." It's now 50 minutes into a twenty minute promise. After another 15 minutes wait I was asked to repeat the name on the order. Moments later the guy working the kitchen shoved my order onto the counter with barely a word. No hair or beard net but neither did anybody else back there. It was all room temperature and had obviously been sitting there the whole time. Once I got the order home I found BBQ wings with the sauce on the side. Just plain wings. Pizza completely cold. Garlic bread likewise. $42 bucks. Once I went to the trouble of reheating everything and putting sauce onto plain wings it was passable fare. I don't know when these bad reviewers went but everytime we drive 2hrs away to go here at random and the service and pizzas are always great. It's always clean and relaxed inside and the lady that's always there is always very kind and prompt. The cheese most definitely has a very good flavor and I can tell it isn't bagged so I don't know what that one guy in the reviews was even talking about. The toppings were an adequate amount and not skimpy at all but if some people want it dripping with tons of pepperoni they need to ask for extra. Way more toppings than you get currently at any fast food pizza (pizza hut, dominos etc). To finish, I absolutely love coming here. It isn't the same as going to a northern italian pie place taste wise but this pizza and their calzones are distinctive and delicious in taste. This corporate pizza purveyor is just not that good. The crust is not distinguished. The toppings are below average. Cheese is flavorless. I wish I could expound upon the sauce but like many modern pizza palaces, it is nonexistent. Just no. Their Stromboli is not a Stromboli at all. It's little some sort of weird patty on a roll with lettuce and tomato. No flavor. We ordered a large pizza with 3 toppings. I couldn't find a single topping on the pizza. The pizza sauce and cheese were so thinly applied I could see the crust right through them. It was horrible. read more

I have ordered from here twice in the past year. The first time I ordered a pizza that was not good. I thought that I would give them another try and order something else. I had chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks, to go. The mozzarella sticks were room temperature and fries were soggy and ice cold. The chicken was disgusting. None of these items were fried. All seemed to be microwaved and inedible. I have never had this bad of a meal and will definitely not be back. read more

i order 4 pizzas 2 cheese and 2 -5 topping specials . for $73.00 I FIGURE THESE ARE GONNA BE GREAT ,wrong !!! Worst pizzas i have ever got from them in 22 yrs of living here .Call and talk to manager .bring them back and we'll remake them for you couldn't find the bacon couldn't find the ham , 2 pieces of pepperoni on a large pizza ??? I don't ever write reviews because I believe people have off days and shouldn't be judged based off one experience. However, I can't help but write this one. We placed an order at 4:08 for 2 pizzas, 2 orders of wings and 2 subs was told the order would be ready in about 25 minutes, we went and got ice cream came back and went to get our order and only the pizza and wings were ready. When asked about subs the "young kids" didn't know. They had to look up the order. Turns out one sub had been sitting on top of oven the whole time. When asked about the other sub we were told it would be a couple of minutes. My husband brought out the one sub and was waiting to go back for the other. I decided to go in and get it, well No one had even started it. I watched one person pull it from a fridge (pre-made) then another kid ( who turned out to be the manager) put it in oven then yet another pulls from oven and puts on table, she asked who was putting it together and not one kid responded so she completed the sub. So we left the restaurant at 5:05; so almost an hour. The a thirty minute drive home. I can only complain of service since I haven't gotten to try the food. Maybe hire people who have some work ethic. Today's kids definitely don't have it. Even if the food is phenomenal we will not go back. I plan on calling the restaurant tomorrow and hopefully speak to an owner. read more

I despise their pizza. My husband and children like it, so we still buy there, since it is the only pizza place in town. I think the crust is too thin, the cheese tastes cheap, and it is worse than disgusting once it gets cold. I cannot eat their cheese bread, it gives me heart burn, and I never get heart burn. There has been several times we have called in an order, and when I got there, they said they didnt have an order in our name. Sunday night October 18, at 7:15 PM we arrived at this restaurant with friends. Having eaten here twice before, I was looking forward to their calzone. About 3 weeks before, 6 of us came & everyone was very pleased with the food (service was slow). The only odd thing about the food is they serve sweet-and-sour sauce with a calzone. I asked the waitress if I could have marinara sauce which she brought. However, on Sunday night Oct 18 we sat & waited about 10 to 15 mins. No one acknowledged we had even come through the door. We know they saw us because one girl did smiled at us while she was working around the cash register. No one ever came to take our drink order or tell us they would be with us in a few minutes. I believe they had a group in the back and that is wonderful for their business during this virus crisis. But please management, train your workers to acknowledge the customers and let them know you'll be with them in just a moment. You lost a $60-$80 sale that night as we left without ordering. read more

One of my friends told me to try this place, and for a long time I didn't because I thought it probably wasn't all that and a drive from us.
