Stopped here based off reviews, parking lot was packed at lunch time on a monday. The bread that came out first was amazing and already I knew we'd come back when in Vero just for the bread. Made our first visit here in 6 months and were very disappointed. They changed the recipe for the mussels appetizer and instead of a velvety smooth white wine and parmesan sauce they're now in a butter and white wine sauce that's very thin and bland. The chicken parm was very good. The service was a bit above average. Server was friendly. The linguine with white clam sauce was awful. No garlic whatsoever. None. The clams looked and tasted like they came out of a can. The dish had no flavor at all, really. This was a regular stop for us every 5 or 6 weeks. We won't be returning. read more

This place is fabulous! My grandparents live very close to this restaurant and every time I fly down from Boston to visit, I take them out to dinner at Giuseppe's. It's great to see an high-quality independent restaurant doing well in what seems like an endless sea of chains in Florida. Everything I've ordered from there has been very good. The best part is the value, though. The prices are really reasonable, every meal comes with really delicious cheese bread as well as ice cream for dessert, and the portions are so big that we usually end up with plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. They also have great weekly discount specials on pizza as well as an early bird special, which my grandparents go mad for. The interior of the place is cute, and the servers have always been very friendly and prompt with their service. The one downside is that because it is so popular, it isn't uncommon for the dining room to get a little overcrowded and loud. All in all, though, this place is a treat! read more

This restaurant came from a hotel recommendation which in my experience can be a bit of a mixed bag, but they got his one right. Consistently delicious! Hearty portions that look high priced and taste home cooked. (Posted today but visited months ago - yes, it's THAT good!) Most recent order was for chicken marsala. FOUR children breasts, pounded thin, 'no knife needed' tender, delicate but savory sauce with hint of red wine. The mushrooms in the sauce were a perfect accent, not an afterthought. Also ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, which has an addictive flavor! I never thought 'plain old' spaghetti had enough 'oomph' to order as a restaurant entree. Let me say, I'm not Italian, but this is the best I've ever had! Comfortable seating, lighting that is easy on the eyes - not too bright and cheerful, tasteful decor. This is an incredible restaurant and I love coming here to eat when I come into town. The food is phenomenal and the wait staff is an absolute pleasure to talk to. The food comes out promptly and management is excellent and very easy to work with. We moved to Sebastian in September and have sampled many restaurants. They have the best Buffalo wings on the area. The pizza is great and their Monday and Tuesday pizza specials make dining out cheaper than eating at home. They also have takeout and delivery available. Service is ALWAYS quick, friendly, and attentive. Tables and dining area are always clean. We eat there normally once a week. They have lunch specials too that we have yet to try. read more

Worst service ever. Ordered food that I never got. At one point my table was completely empty for at least 10 minutes before anyone even approached me. My waiter, I guess he was my waiter because he took my order kept forgetting what I ordered and had to keep asking me. I still didn't get food that I ordered. Last two winters this was our weekly (or more often) go to dinner out for 5 months, and it was wonderful. Super pasta, I always got something different and thus tried 9 or 10 entrees, and liked everything. I asked for Bolognese Sauce on linguini, which is not on the menu(that cause comes on gnocchi), and they said, "of course". The breadsticks were fluffy and warm, after the 2nd time we asked for no melted butter/olive oil drizzled on them,and they said fine and we enjoyed them much more with hard butter. Always warm and soft breadsticks. FAST FORWARD TO: This year, not certain what changed; we had an ok meal, then a poor meal. I asked for Bolognese sauce on spaghetti, and was told that it would cost $1.75 more. It seemed like a weird amount, but I said no thanks and ordered the manicotti. Compared to the price, it was very small, and mostly cheese Had it been over pasta I would have liked it more. BF ordered the red sauce and sausage. They brought a red clam cause and side of sausage, which was the wrong order and the sausage was over cooked A LOT. The waitress said, "Oh, I wasn't sure what you said, but thought it was red clam cause". OK, I was a waitress: if you aren't sure what someone says, you ask. I thought the BF would say, "not going back", but he said let's do it (valentine's day dinner). We had another fair to poor meal. The bread sticks were flat, & cold. Our waitress seemed new (she had no idea what the bread with no oil drizzled on it was all about, so I explained twice to get her to accept that I knew what I was talking about); I drank my water dry before I was half through my meal, and she never came back to offer more. The table next to us had a waiter come three times to check on the customer, but we never had a "how is everything" contact from our server. I had gnocchi, w/Bolognese sauce. It was not hot, which I never had happen in all our times there (usually every thing is super-duper hot, which we love). ALSO: This year the prices are about a dollar more than last year, which is understandable but when the service and food is lacking, it is tough to accept. I do not think we will be back, and will likely try a different Italian place in Sebastian. Seriously, something has changed since the past years. I hope they get it together. read more

We ate at Giuseppe's a few years back and then for some reason, we never went back. The teenagers in our family were clamoring to give it another try so we did. It turns out that we never went back because the service left much to be desired. We had a short wait for a table and it seemed like the waiter took a long time to come around and drop off menus and take our drinks order. Then we waited a long time for the drinks. Nothing special, you know, just soft drinks. Then we placed our dinner order and the waiter brought round some bread and salads. I will give them credit though, the bread was very good. When they brought around the food, the waiter had the order wrong. My husband had asked for the eggplant sandwich and instead of putting that in, he had put in two orders for manicotti (my order X2). The waiter wanted to know if my husband would take the manicotti and he said no, that he wanted Eggplant. Frankly I was very shocked that the waiter would even ask such a thing; it was clearly not what he wanted. So the waiter went back and put the order in for eggplant, but what he eventually got was Eggplant Parmesan, still not the sandwich he had asked for. By this time, I had finished my drink and was wanting a refill. The waiters were taking turns walking in laps around the dining room, but they were walking so fast that you could never get one of them to stop. So I resorted to passive-aggressive tactics and slurped all of the icewater out of the cup so it made the loud straw bubbling sounds. Even then I had to do that three times before someone came over and asked if I needed a refill. I did not think that the entrees were particularly "huge" nor the prices unreasonable. All the same, I think we will go somewhere else for our Italian cravings, where the service is better. read more

My husband and I both had veal parm. I'm picky about this dish, but I was happily surprised, not only was it good, it was the best I've had in many years! Just a perfect meal. Terrible food and terrible service. I got the Chicken Parm and the chicken was rubbery, the sauce tasted straight out of a jar and the whole dish was cold. When I spoke to the server, I got attitude and told it was fine. I then asked to speak to the manager and was greeted with an eye roll but the manager did come to my table. The manager was some young woman with a terrible attitude. She refused to do anything about my dish, even just pop it in the microwave because it was cold. She was incredibly rude to me and ruined what could have been an easily fixed issue. I will never return unless they fire that terrible manager. I expected more from a family business but I guess some people just don't know how to run a business. read more
