Nice building and dining area, friendly staff but pizza is bland and the garlic bread was stale, we will not be going back.

So my wife…read moresuggested a place she and her friend went to a few years ago, but she couldn't remember the name so we drove down Indian River Dr and she saw Mo Bay Grill and she said that's the place. I guess because of the time we were the only ones there. We were with our grandson too just the three of us. The were told by Johnny the waiter to sit anywhere we wanted. The place is beautifully decorated with artwork and the view of the intercostal is breathtaking. I was a little worried at first that our 16 year old grandson might not like anything on the menu since he is a little bit picky. He then pointed out the angus cheese burger with fries under the sandwich section to my relief. So that's what he ordered. My wife ordered the crab cake burger that she ordered years ago with fries and coleslaw. I ordered the grouper sandwich with Mo Bay seasoning lightly blackened and it has grilled onions, lettuce and tomato with a special sauce on the side. It came two sides also I chose the cucumber salad and didn't want coleslaw or fries so Johnny said how about a double cucumber salad. I said sounds. We also ordered an appetizer of plantains and it comes with sour cream which I never had them with but they were delicious! My grouper sandwich I'm pretty sure was the best one I've ever had. It was moist, juicy and incredibly delicious. Also the cucumber salad I can say one of the best cucumber salads I've ever had too. My wife was very happy with her crab cake sandwich and fries. And my grandson advised me later that his angus cheese burger was better than the angus cheese burgers that I made for him last night. I'm glad it was his birthday lunch. Johnny the our waiter was constantly checking on us and keeping our dinks full. I did have the crab bisque soup but a tad spicy for me. Portions are very filling and prices are very reasonable. This will be our go to place when visiting Sebastian. Maybe even the destination.

We split a small salad with house Italian dressing. It was fresh and tasty. My wife ordered the half jerk chicken. It was so delicious. Spiced perfectly and juicy. The mashed potatoes were very good also. I ordered the whole snapper with sauce on the side. It was crispy and delicious . The ginger cabbage sauce was spicy and a nice addition. The sweet potatoes were amazing. Service was very friendly and we even talked after dinner for a few minutes. Nice family friendly place for dinner.

The drink options were average, but they had a decent mix of beers on tap and in bottles. The food tended more on the fried side, with a few fresh options too. We were able to see the Pelican dive for a fish which was cool. The waitress was sweet and super friendly. She was very helpful and considerate, always checking on us and making sure everything was okay. Now why I am give the restaurant a 2 star review: My husband's Fish and Chips were just okay nothing to rave about. My father's sandwich was not the best as he found it to have pieces of shell in it which was not edible. He said that coleslaw was the worse like it came out of a store bought package. My Drunken Sweet Potato was not fully cooked. My Lobster & Shrimp Mac & Cheese also had pieces of shell in it. I love Mac & Cheese but that was awful! I swear that it came out of a box which is the worse way to make it. Plus the lobster and shrimp must have been puréed in a food processor to form a paste to mix in the Mac & Cheese. I was expecting small chunks of Lobster and Shrimp and a heck of lot more cheese. My MIL's shrimp basket was fine. I have a culinary degree and I expect the best. If I had made that Lobster, Shrimp Mac & Cheese for my chef in college, he would've thrown it in the trash, given me an F and told me to try again! My dad was done and wanted to leave so we paid the bill and left. I didn't notice until further review of the bill that there was a Service Charge of 3.80% added to the bill. There is an explanation for this service charge on the very bottom of the menu in small print. I have worked in restaurants after culinary school and the front of the house (wait staff and bartenders) never had to share their tips with the back of the house (cooks and dishwashers). Everyone except wait staff and bartenders usually gets paid minimum wage. Wait staff and bartenders rely on tips because their hourly wages are lower than minimum wage! From now on I will ask every restaurant if they are going to charge me extra to help pay the cooks and dishwashers, if so I'll walk out. If a restaurant can't paid their cooks and dishwashers minimum wage and have to charge customers an extra 3.80% something is very wrong!

We live just down the road in Vero Beach, so discovering a neighborhood tavern with this much charm practically in our backyard was a real win. We had already eaten lunch at Nini's Cuban across the parking lot, so we stopped in just for a beer. Within minutes we were pulled straight into the atmosphere. Nancy, the bartender and proprietor, is the kind of host every small tavern dreams of. Warm, funny, and completely at ease, she makes newcomers feel like long‑time regulars while keeping the whole place running smoothly. The beer selection is far better than you would expect from a cozy local spot. There is a rotating craft lineup that rivals bigger bars, along with the classics and a surprisingly solid wine list. We spent half our visit sipping and the other half laughing at the hilarious signs covering the walls and at the antics of a couple of regulars who clearly keep the place lively. We have not tried the food yet, but the vibe alone guarantees we will be back and we will be coming hungry. This is the kind of place where you settle in, meet the locals, and let the afternoon drift. For the record, our beer of choice that day was "Cougar Bait." It is as much fun to drink as it is to say!

We moved to Melbourne Beach in Jan 2025 and still everything was good. Some changes in dishes we determined were just food costs cuts. This year my son and his family came and we had an early dinner. My 3 yr old granddaughter was excited to go to the shop that was usually by the hostess stand. It was relocated but now had nothing for children. The service was slow but we thought maybe it was busy since it was tourist season. The food was just fair. Last night was my birthday and of all the restaurants in town I chose Blackfins. What a mistake. Walking in was dangerously slick since they had flooding from earlier rain. We were sat in a small booth by the window. We had to walk out of the way since a dog that was a size of a horse was sprawled out on the floor. Our table was absolutely disgusting! It was dirty and sticky and the coasting of shellac had apparently gotten melted and was sticky and black. Even the seat was dirty and I ended up whipping away pieces of paper on my seat with my hands. Everything including my arms stuck to the table. It took awhile for a very young person with zero personality come to take our order. We gave him a drink and appetizer order. I was attempting to forget about how disgusting the table and the large dog was with the view. The drink that didn't have enough ice although I requested a tall glass with lots of ice arrived with the appetizer. It was good despite being served with greasy fried saltines. When I attempted to start eating a very large Woodstork was fishing on the rocks when the people with the large dog started throwing crackers at it..despite signs everywhere not to feed the birds. It then came up to the window and came too close for me to eat since it was eyeing our food. My husband sat still, told me to do so as well and was holding a knife should it attack. After 15 minutes it finally went away. Now our food was cold. We complained to the waiter but all he could offer was, "Thank you for telling me." No offer to relocate. Our main meals came. Both of our fish were way overcooked. Mine was dry and not edible. My husband's was dry but he didn't complain since my birthday dinner was basically ruined anyway. Forget the dessert I just wanted out of that dirty sticky area. So sad! I will have to find somewhere else to take me and my family.

As we waited under ten minutes for our meal, the wife was in awe of the choo choo train the circled the bar above our heads, a cool addition that goes a long way. Grilled Shrimp Skewers and NY Strip French Dip. OMG the shrimp were awesome with the crispy carrot wedges were a nice side. Drenched my NY Strip hoagie into the french dip since I love it soggy and it was perfectly flavored. The french fries were plentiful and seasoned well but not as crispy as I would like. The restaurant sits on the river but since it was late there was no view, but we were able to hear the live rock n' roll music coming from the stage at the Sandbar. The clean gender assigned bathroom was gorgeous with green ocean themed epoxy flooring, lizard skin walls and bamboo partitions. It was a WOW effect upon entry.
