I got an iced chai latte ($8.25) & iced honeybear latte ($8.75). I was surprised to see iced drinks are only served in 20oz so my coffee order ended up being $20. The sitting area is small & the coffee was okay.

Fantastic parfait! Delicious bagel! Friendly staff! Incredibly fast service and amazing coffee! Better than all of that is their taste in music and the photos from local artists on the wall! They have created an amazing place delivery with the stop

Great spot for an iced coffee and a cheesecake slice. Extra appreciation for the water spout next to the cashier! We did a hike prior to coming here and it was great. Indoor seating is nice to get away from the cold with a Mountain View!

I think this is the only coffee shop in town. Saturday they don't open until 8am and I arrived to a line out the building (open earlier please). Cute coffee shop and I enjoyed my latte (just the right temperature and amount of froth). Also ordered a breakfast burrito. It had eggs, salsa, sour cream, black beans, and generous amounts of bacon pieces. Was disappointed they burned the tortilla and instead of using another one just tried to SCRAPE the burnt parts off. Don't do that!

4 stars Since it was a rainy day in Skagway, I decided to skip the shore excursions and opt for some museum hopping. However, many of the museums don't til 9am, so I meandered over to the closest coffee shop I can find. Ordered the Cadbury egg latte which is coffee with caramel & marshmallows at 50% sweet. Coffee was light and creamy. Service was friendly and quick and they're not the chatty type. Ambiance is casual.

This was such a delicious random find! I stumbled upon this place after getting a snack next door and I am so glad I did! This place had some absolutely delicious coffee. Their flavor combinations were also unique and delicious. The honey coffee was my favorite! It was so smooth. The inside has plenty of seating and the staff were all extremely friendly.

I visited this coffee house while in port today. I'm typically a sipper on my ice coffee but I finished this in like 10 minutes flat! The white pass mocha was a white chocolate raspberry iced coffee and it was phenomenal. Since I'm on a cruise, I only have the awful cruise coffee to try and muster up but this was a refreshing change. It's in a great location too and easily accessible without hopping on a bus located at the first or second street after getting off the ship. I also loved all the decor in the dining room and around it made the ambiance cute and enjoyable. There is also a bathroom that is not locked up by key which is nice!

Such a cute and delicious place. Drinks and food were amazing, very fast service, and a chill environment. Would definitely recommend!

This was the only coffee spot open when we were up early, walking around with our toddler. The coffee was fine, the prices high but that was to be expected in some ways. Our croissant was very underbaked, it was still doughy inside. Still would come back, but hope they cook things longer next time. Staff was friendly and helpful :)

Shopped a bit as we made our way to Klondike Doughboy. It was around lunch time so I was surprised but super excited to see there was no line!! I was able to walk right up to the counter, order a doughboy, stepped to the right and was handed my order. Seemed like less than a minute. So although there was no line, i had noticed the staff continued to make the doughboys. I didn't understand it until a few minutes later, sitting across the street, enjoying the fried bread that people were making their way towards the shop and like that, there was a line out the door. We were super lucky. And yet, the line was moving pretty quickly because of the staff's expectations. Because there was no line, I didn't get a chance to shop the store. But it was super cute and they do have souvenirs for sale. They also sold drinks and shave ice, which I found strange for Alaska. But I get it now because Skagway, at 70 degrees is actually very warm if there are no clouds and no wind. I thought it was interesting to see people still drinking a can of Coca Cola with a surgary fried item. And yet, in Hawaii, there's a malasada stand next door to the shave ice truck. I should know better. Staff was super friendly along with the unexpected quick service. Almost forgot, the fried bread is big, like a 12" size pizza. It was just me and my sister and so we split it. I liked it and liken it to a flat malasada from Leonord's bakery in HI. Would be interesting if they made filled fried bread. But if they did, I didn't get a chance to browse the menu because I wanted to get in and out of there. Also, I thought it was fairly priced at $8 because of the size of the fried bread which I equated to four malasadas that sell for $2.25 each. So do I recommend Klondike Doughboy? Absolutely and plan to revisit on a future cruise.

A local recommended the Alaska Commercial Company (ACC) as the place "where rural Alaskans shop." Per their website, ACC operates 37 stores in Alaska with 1000+ employees; we visited the one in Skagway. ACC offers groceries, fresh produce, general merchandise, and specialty items like furniture, electronics, snow machines, and ATVs. Of most interest to us, they were in an easy walking distance from the cruise terminal AND they had a section of over-the-counter medications. Our general impression of ACC was favorable. As mentioned, they stocked pretty much anything that you might need -- at Alaska reasonable prices (meaning that prices are higher than the lower 48 but fair for Alaska). We purchased a generic calcium antacid with 125 tablets for $5.99 (plus $0.30 tax). The aisles were well-stocked, clean, and items were easy to find. The check-out line was relatively short, and moved quickly. The girl who checked us out was sufficiently friendly and efficient. Our item went through at the correct price. There was free parking in front of the store, though we walked from the cruise terminal.

The brewer who did our tour was super enthusiastic and fun to hang out with. He made sure our glasses were topped off and gave a great talk about the workings of the brewery and his passion for beer. We got to try three 8-oz samples and a full pint, all included with the tour. The beer was good and the root beer was great. I highly recommend that you make sure to try the root beer and the coffee stout; they were the most delicious. The lighter beers were good too, but not as flavorful. The tour was too short, though. Our day in Skagway was quite long, and this only filled part of the afternoon. And it could easily have been longer, too, since getting people to chug four glasses of beer in less than an hour really rushes the experience. The bus company that took us to and from the brewery was also very good. The drivers talked extensively about the town and its history, even fielding impromptu questions.

The place is a brewery that apparently also does tours, food, and, from what we inferred, a bit of live music from time to time. We were only there long enough to taste beer, so I can really only speak to that. We did a tasting of six beers, and I can't say I much cared for any of them. A lot of them had a sour, funky kind of thing happening, which, if it was intentional, was just not to my taste. Some of the heavier ones were okay (bigger flavors masked some of the funky), but we couldn't finish the lighter ones because of it. At least the service was good.
