Person who served us said they don't have anything except of canned beer to serve at the moment. Horrible service. The head on the beer was half the glass. Slammed it down and walked off. Pour beer in a glass under an angle to minimize a foam would help to leave a good impression.

Took a walk from the cruise ship just because I am a Bigfoot enthusiast. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy and I got the bagel breakfast sandwich with bacon. She loved hers, my sandwich was good but the ham was still cold to the touch. I personally like all the meats warm on my breakfast sandwich, but it wasn't the end of the world. The waiter was great and took good care of us. Great service! The place itself is a hole in the wall dive type joint. There is Sasquatch memorabilia on the walls and it is a cool historical building. I would like to come try the food at lunch one day!

Came in because of the cute name, my family wanted to try the reindeer sausage. My party got a few different things, but I got the Turkey Thanksgiving Sandwich. It was pretty good, unfortunately I feel like the price was a little steep. The buffalo jalepeno hot dog was good. The ones who got breakfast enjoyed it. Again, very expensive. We loved the 49th state sodas.

Just like I said I would! I came back this year! Absolutely my favorite place to eat in all of Skagway. The inside of this place is so cute! I love the cool penny table overhanging the window so you can watch people passing by. I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and a beer this morning. Next biscuits and gravy ive ever had.

Well if you're reading this you most likely just got off the cruise ship or are about to. Walk the extra block or two to this place, its absolutely without a doubt worth it. We were waited on by Red who turns out owns the place, that said the food is why we came. Okay it was early afternoon so we opted for breakfast anyway, biscuits and gravy were and i quote my wife "the best ive ever had anywhere" i dont think I disagree. The perfect amount of pepper, a glutinous amount of actual gravy and the perfect sausage portion mixed right in. Of course you need a liquid to wash it down and they have a local soda called the 49th state soda or something to that nature, we had both the root beer and and spruce tip which seems to be a local tree spoke about and in a lot of drinks around town. The table shares a Yeti Betty which was pbj french toast and a waffle that name escapes me but it was straight porn for foods. Red picked up on our accent Boston and insisted on us trying chowder which he was very proud of and ladies and gentlemen these 4 samplings for the whole table made each and everyone of us question the clam chowder back home. The base is a clam chowder but its the sock eye salmon that really brought this home. Now the bad news..... we will probably never be in this town again and this just breaks my fucking heart. I want a place like this that i can go to in my own neck of the woods. Red is a family man, 4 children of his own and someone i love supporting, do the same i promise you wont be sorry. Bon Voyage Skagway you and The Sittin Sasquatch will be missed

This is the perfect place to stop for a quick bite and a warm coffee before facing the blustery Skagway streets. The staff are warm and the seatting provides a place to huddle up in for a bit to enjoy some truly tasty food! The Hikers Delight drink is the perfect combination of caffeination and vanilla chai tastiness and I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy. Ask about the crows and you can get the down low about some pretty cool local birds. Thank you for a wonderful start to the mornin'! Rm

The Sittin' Sasquatch The food and service were great! Red was very knowledgeable about the area and shared some sightseeing tips with us.

Great food and service! Red was fun to talk to and gave us some awesome tips about things to see in Skagway.

Great breakfast sandwich and homemade sausage biscuits and gravy! The service was friendly and attentive. We came about 815am with 3 cruise ships in Port and no issue getting a table for a quick breakfast and coffee. Would highly recommend for a quick and delicious breakfast and coffee!

There was a bit of a wait, but we grabbed a beer and relaxed while waiting for tables to clear. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive, and I really appreciated the decor throughout the restaurant. As a gal originally from Cape Cod, I especially loved the nautical theme! Of course, I ordered the fish and chips, and it came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The batter was a little crispier than I'm used to, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the flaky, white fish. The guys in our group enjoyed their meals as well. The ladies' room was clean, which is always appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this spot if you don't mind a bit of a wait. For us, it was absolutely worth it. I also want to mention that we were visiting on a cruise ship, and this restaurant was a very convenient walk to and from the port. If you're in town for the day, it's an easy and worthwhile stop!

We were promptly seated. Several customers were there so place appeared busy. We were on a time crunch so ordered the crab cakes and king crab legs. Both items came out in reasonable time. The $21 crab cakes were not great and had significant breading (2/5 stars). The $119 two piece king crab served with clarified butter was excellent and tasty (5/5 stars). They give you the appropriate utensils and pickers to cut the claws open. Overall good experience but wish I could've tried more items in the menu. Would return when I'm in the area!

We had a great experience at Skagway Brewing Company! My husband and I ordered the Admiral Platter,…read morewhich came with halibut fish & chips, beer-battered shrimp, blackened salmon, tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and slaw. The platter is HUGE--definitely enough to share! We split it between the two of us and were completely full by the end. The shrimp were really good--not overly battered and seasoned well. The blackened salmon was also flavorful and nicely seasoned. The halibut batter was softer rather than crunchy, which isn't usually my preference for fish & chips, but it was still good. The fries were especially delicious and seasoned perfectly. We also shared a bowl of clam chowder, which was delicious! I was a little surprised to learn that it's the only item on the menu that isn't made in-house, but regardless, we really enjoyed it. What impressed me just as much as the food was the staff. The bartender and the entire back-of-house team work incredibly hard. This place gets BUSY, yet the food comes out surprisingly fast without the service ever losing that friendly and welcoming feel. You can tell everyone is hustling and working together to keep things moving. The atmosphere is lively and fun, and the location couldn't be more convenient--it's right in the path of cruisers coming off the ships and exploring Skagway. Great portions, good food, hardworking staff, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by while in Skagway!

I was trying to get some souvenirs and she told me a couple spots to check out and held my table while I went across the street! I wanted something fresh and local and they're a great place for that. It's her parents restaurant and her mom grows herbs that they use in dishes. Olivia travels a lot so it was serendipitous that I actually got to meet her! Seemed like a spot a lot of the locals hang at, felt very homey, Cheers type everyone knows your name place with delicious food! I did a Rojito, seafood pasta and a side of crostini. The drink was so refreshing! I remember her mom was involved with its creation and of course it's her fresh grown mint! The pasta had huge chunks of very tasty seafood! Outside of being here (AK) I probably wouldn't order something like that but I'm glad I did. The pasta was delicious and the seafood was fresh. The crostini's were so good too. I hear they have great desserts but we shared a fry bread earlier and there was just no room for more. I got a shirt bc I couldn't not. I truly loved it here. Such a chill, kind vibe. If ever in Skagway I'll be back. Thank you to Olivia and team for more than making me feel welcomed.

The crab was good, but not ohmygod good (honestly I have crab shipped to my house from Alaska that was better). The fries were awesome! And I'm not a fry person. Got a very generous piece of 24 carat cake too. The service was quite good. Our waitress apologized up and down for not having the menu items we really wanted.
