We decided to try Altitude and stopped in for an early dinner. As one of the first customers we had a choice of tables and selected one of the many that had windows looking out to the beauty that is Canada, mountains and the Athabasca Glacier. You don't get that kind of view in Florida, that's for sure. This has been a great vacation so far. I started with their Mushroom Bisque followed by their Short Rib. It wasn't a great meal but a good one. The bisque was a bit bland but the quantity was there, I was satisfied. Same for the short rib, could have had more flavor and be juicier, but it was fine. After a day of Icefield Parkway awe with many miles (err, kilometers) yet to go before reaching Jasper, this was a welcomed break. Service was friendly and attentive, we were well taken care of as we enjoyed our visit.
