Had to stop and see Mrs. Gladys' spot. After learning about Elvis' mom on the tour and walking around for hours, I needed to refuel. I found the diner along the museum pathway to be convenient. It was decorated nice and the staff was well organized. I liked the car in the middle of it all (great for pictures but I was all pictured out) There were a lot of menu items to choose from. I ordered a cheese pizza slice and onion ring / french fry mix. The portions were sizeable. It was ok but I was hungry! I definitely think it was quality fast food / diner food. Fresh, hot, made to order.....nice pizzza sauce and crust, good crisp on fries and onion rings.

PROS: this looked like a 1950s diner. The atmosphere, the fake Cadillac in the place to sit in, and the juke boxes all throw you back. The food is good and is affordable CONS: it's cafeteria styled instead of waiter service and the staff aren't the the most social OVERALL: I recommend eating here if you're on the property, as long as you don't mind picking food with a tray and ringing it up at the register instead of waiter service

One of the booths was in a car, cool!

Food was okay. Hot dog combo decent. Pizza not so great, odd sauce taste. Service was good, employees smiled. Ambiance- cool, lots of seating. Coffee and pastry shop located in back.

I cannot complain. The prices were decent, everyone working here was nice and the food was actually pretty darn good. Seating was plentiful and it was clean. We came around 2:30 pm and service was pretty quick.

Sorry, Gladys... We came here for a quick bite just to quell our tummies, we were thinking a side of fries and onion rings. I wanted to try Elvis' Fried Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich but it didn't look appealing and the reviews weren't so great. We ended up looking at the pizza menu and chose to get a slice of pizza. They only had cheese pizza left... we wanted the Alfredo pizza but they ran out and were making more but will take another 6-8 mins of wait time. Alright, so we settled for the cheese pizza. The set up is cafeteria-style. One area is the pizza, another part were the burgers and sandwiches, there's also an ice-cream section... it was a little chaotic, no specific line(s) designated. The self serve section in the middle of the restaurant were non-existent due to Covid. To get soda from the soda machine you'd have to flag an employee so they can operate the machine for you and get you your drink. Condiments were behind the counter and if you forgot to ask for one before taking your food good luck in getting back in the crowd to get a packet of salt or ketchup for your fries. It's just too unorganized for me. They should change the restaurant name to The Hound Dog restaurant or something. Not quality food and service was slow, not efficient. The tables in the dining area were dirty too. I don't think Gladys would be happy to see this if she were alive today. Disappointed with our experience. Nice decor inside though. That's all. Fried Peanut Butter and Banana sandwich with a side of fries

Graceland is Elvis Disneyland with the food options to match, so don't expect some kind of fine dining experience. This is a food court with a variety of options like pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers etc- but of course we went right to the peanut butter and banana sandwiches. I liked that there was an alternative to the real deal, fried in bacon grease, with just butter, as I'm a vegetarian- apologies to The King. They have Coke Freestyle machines which would've probably rocked EP's world if he was still with us. I am not sure that this is the most fitting tribute to Gladys Presley but it seems to be the simplest meal option on the premises as it offers a direct exit back into the Graceland museum area.

    Do they take reservations?

Is the restaurant pricey, or is it a decent cost?

The sandwich itself was about $11. The whole Graceland experience is pretty pricey as a whole, so be ready to splurge. Hope you're an Elvis fan!

I took the advice, and I'm really glad I did. It was fantastic--stacked with pulled pork, smoked sausage, and beef brisket, all topped with slaw and BBQ sauce on a bun. I also tried a bite of the barbecue bologna, which is a thick-cut slice served on white bread, and that didn't disappoint either. Inside gets pretty smoky, so you'll probably prefer sitting outside. The food and coffee was so delicious. I wouldn't say I'm a food snob, but I'm particular about breakfast foods, and this made me very happy. We each ordered a coffee and the bacon potatoes to share. I ordered the Juniper Benedict and my friend ordered the loaded biscuits and gravy. The bacon potatoes were cooked perfectly, soft and slightly crunchy with plenty of cheese and bacon. The eggs in my eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and they used a regular house-made biscuit that soaked up the egg yolks perfectly. The restaurant was pretty big, but the ambiance felt like a small-town diner. The staff was super kind and attentive, too. The cost is par for the course for a nice diner in a big city. Later during the meal, he admits that Momma's is one of his spots, so that's saying a lot. It sort of looked like another bar/restaurant from the outside, but they have a nice outdoor patio overlooking an old decrepit building which is at least some scenery. Once inside, you'll quickly see it's highly decorated and has a claim to be one of the only trucker themed bars in the US. Inside is decked out to the ceilings with signs, neon, old mirrors, collectibles, and many other items. I swear it looks like it's been in business for 30+ years, but my client said only a couple of years. I looked over the basic menu and saw burgers, breakfast, salads, sandwiches, a famous pork chop, wings and a few other items. The client and my colleague quickly ordered devilled eggs, cheese curds, and chili cheese fries. The first two apps were really good, I didn't try the fries though. They had a burger of the day, and a food special of the day, but I settled on the wings. With those I chose the 10 pc, Buffalo with dry rub, smoked. Kind of a weird combination since most people usually order dry here apparently, but I like saucy wings. When they come out, they are huge and I knew I wouldn't be able to finish them. I think I could only eat 6-7. My colleague had a ribeye steak salad which was a protein bomb he loved, and my 2 clients ordered a big rig grilled cheese which he also loved and a fried chicken sandwich (firebird) which looked really good. Overall, I really liked this place and it's one of the best meals I've had in Memphis the handful of times I've visited.
