    Disney nails!
    Clara S.

Jessica is the best! She is gentle and meticulous. I love when I get her and I can relax knowing she'll do a great job. I asked for Disney themed nails as I'm headed there on vacation and showed her some pictures. They turned out exactly as the pictures, I'm so happy! I always enjoy coming here to get a mani/pedi!

I've been going here for about 2 years now, love it every time! Selfishly, I don't want to mention who I go to because he is the absolute best and I want him to keep being available for when I come in, but I also want him to get the most business ever, so do yourself a favor and see Ben. I cannot say enough good things about him, also Jenny and Mala are both wonderful. The owner, Leo, always friendly and accommodating! I typically get the Ocean pedicure with extra massage instead of wax. Glam is pricey compared to others in the area, but you get such quality service it is worth it! The manicure also comes with a back massage, which is heavenly. Sorry in advance if you don't like toes, but had to post a pic of my fresh pedicure to just add some weight behind this raving review.

I got artificial nails full set aka acrylic nails and I was extremely happy with how they came out. I had Rose , she is super kind and sweet as well as great at doing acrylic nails. The shape was perfect and she really took her time to make sure they were perfect. When I got to the salon for my appointment, everyone was busy and they were understaffed. Since they were understaffed , after I got the base of my acrylics done , someone different was painting my nails. I was expecting to stay with one person the whole time but I fully understood. I read that you get a complimentary drink, chocolate and a massage at the end and I wasn't offered any of those which was a little upsetting but I was happy with my nails and that's what matters.

Such a great nail salon for a bit of pampering, staff are friendly and they have a good selection of treatments and nail polish. Came with a group, we were able to reserve the pedicure area in advance. You receive a complimentary glass of wine or other beverage with every treatment. The manager also passed out chocolate to all the ladies. Two of my favorite things, Pinot Grigio and Ferrero Rocher, combined with the ultimate relaxing pedicure. If you pay in cash you receive a 5% discount.

Been coming here for years. I come irregularly due to my schedule, and also, am not able to book an appointment. Therefore, I have had almost every practitioner. All of my experiences have been great and consistent. If I were to recommend one in particular, it would be Jenny. Manicures come with a complementary neck and shoulder massage. Place is super clean and they strive for a quiet and relaxing environment. They don't speak across the room at each other like most nail salons. I highly recommend it!

I had a GREAT day!…read more We came on a Tuesday during the week and I loved it! It was relaxing and not overly busy, but did get busier as the day went, but it still wasn't overly crowded. We hung out there from noon to 8PM, so yes, we spent most of the day there and didn't even feel the need for any spa treatments! I loved that they supplied slippers and you could walk around with slippers instead of running around barefoot to everywhere. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for some of the jets not working, the temperature in some of the pools not matching the water temperature, the sauna rooms not hot enough, and the small menu of food options. But I did love that they had a media room to relax and watch TV, have an amazing pool upstairs which was the most crowded of all the places, and different places to just relax. So I was definitely relaxed! We enjoyed the main level pool the most and I loved that they served alcohol! So we had the option for drink or two. There were no kids either! So I would say this is a perfect getaway for adults for a one day trip!

Well needless to say, we will be on the hunt for a better spot- FOR SURE. Here's what our feedback was to the establishment since they asked, and I decided to share here in case it's helpful to anyone thinking about going here: "The overall experience was disappointing and did not meet the standards expected of a professional wellness or spa environment. The walk between buildings felt awkward and disjointed, and the areas where services were provided were visibly unclean. This immediately detracted from the sense of calm and comfort that clients typically seek when booking spa services. The sauna instructions were overly complicated and nonintuitive. Rather than supporting a seamless, stress-free experience, the setup required unnecessary effort and attention at a time when guests should be able to arrive, decompress, and enjoy the service. One of the facials was particularly concerning. The provider fell out of her chair during the session, left the room for approximately 15 minutes within the allotted service time, and complained openly about missing supplies that had not been ordered. Her presentation and behavior appeared impaired or otherwise not fully attentive, which was alarming in a setting where professionalism, focus, and client safety are expected. There were also sanitation concerns. Gloves were not worn during the sessions- in particular extractions & close facial work, which raised hygiene and safety questions. Given the nature of skincare treatments and direct contact with facial areas, adherence to clear sanitation protocols is critical. Both facials were performed below expected standards. Product application felt careless rather than intentional for both clients. Creams were applied in a manner that resulted in product entering the nostril area for both clients. In one instance, the technician had to awkwardly clean the inside of a nostril during the service, which was unexpected and uncomfortable (and something never experienced prior). In the other facial, cream entered the nostril and remained there throughout the session, creating concern about inhalation; the client ultimately had to clean it out herself after the session. This experience was distracting and far from relaxing. Additionally, massage and sculpting techniques reflected a noticeable lack of refinement and training, particularly for clients accustomed to higher-quality services. Overall, the experience lacked attentiveness, professionalism, cleanliness, and the level of care expected in a premium setting."

Pretty good experience - a little on the fence…read more I was presented a gift card to the Sugar House Day Spa and Salon. It had been some time since I received a massage, so I was looking forward to this visit! There is a parking garage conveniently located next to the spa, so that was great. The staff at the entrance promptly greeted me and asked if it was my first time. The process of checking in and getting around was simplified by them taking the time to walk me where I needed to go rather than just telling me, which was appreciated. I was walked to the area where I changed into a robe and was subsequently accompanied to the massage area. Unfortunately for me, there were a lot of stairs, something that my knee and foot surgeries did not appreciate. It was a little awkward to sit in a small, public waiting area wearing a robe but it's a minor sacrifice. I had a massage with Audrey, who was very nice and professional. I appreciated that she took the time to ask me about my concern areas and my goals for the massage. The massage itself was good, though I unfairly compare massages to my former therapist who was exceptional. Audrey was very communicative and, even for someone who finds it difficult to relax, it was a good experience. Overall, The Sugar House Day Spa is worth a visit - it's also worth purchasing a gift card for someone. They will appreciate it! (NOTE: you can use the funds from the gift card to supplement a tip)

We just moved to Alexandria so we wanted to check out what this is like in case we want to come back. Our spa pass included a mimosa and access to their outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and relaxation lounges. There were also snacks and teas in the lounges. They also provide you with a locker, sandals, and a robe, and all the towels you'd ever need. The outdoor pool was fairly small but there were several places to sit outside with umbrellas so we enjoyed our time there with the view. The sauna was like the saunas in most gyms so I didn't spend much time there but I enjoyed the steam room for sure. The only reason I'm docking a star is that I don't think the spa pass was worth the $100pp it would have been normally, as the amenities were pretty standard and the women's locker room was pretty small. It def makes sense being in the MGM resort and can be great for guests but I'd rather spend my money at a standalone spa like King Spa that had more unique offerings. Still was a great day though and great to know this is right there in case we wanted to come back or try a massage etc.
