Staff member pulled out a booklit with flower stickers and I told staff multiple times that I did not want that and staff conti to place a sticker on my nail and cover it with polish. Let me start by saying this used to be my go-to salon. Exceptionally clean, great service, and fair pricing (a little more expensive than other nail salons) for superior service. I stopped going after they raised prices AND started charging a 5% credit card fee based on the total amount you spent (including tip). The seats, lights and tables are falling apart, the lights are off in half of the salon, and ceiling tiles are missing. This is not the luxury spa I once came to. They also do this annoying thing where sometimes they make you pay for your services before you even get seated with your nail tech. I always felt pressured to tip a certain amount, but I usually tip based on level of service AT THE END OF THE SERVICE. I probably won't ever be back, unless I have a nail emergency and can't get into my other salon. Way too expensive and the level of service and environment are not the same anymore. read more

They make excuses and say it can only be done this way when really it's because they lack the training and experience. They should focus training on new products and advanced techniques. While she didn't a nice job on my nails, her massage was so weak, no pressure what so ever, no motivation and enthusiasm to be at work. $60 for a fill and a weak massage is unsatisfactory. Then I got a pedicure (she was rushing because she had an appointment with in 45min). I paid for the Spa package, which included a massage. Unfortunately, the massage sucked. Take. My. Money! Everything about this experience was great. I took my husband for his first pedicure. I called this morning and made an appointment for 2pm. When we arrived, we were greeted by the nicest man (likely the same man that all the reviewers have said is rude...). He knew exactly who we were (even though we have never been there) and offered us a seat. He then provided us a formal menu offering us a variety of complimentary beverages ranging from water to wine. I had a glass of wine and my hubby enjoyed a fresh hot espresso which the man made for him on the spot. The next part blew my mind. This place is so organized! The man handed me some rings of nail color samples and asked me to choose my color while I enjoy my wine. Each color has its own number and they fetch it for you. I've always had to pick my colors from a messy wall display of half empty, disorganized polish bottles. Oh how I loved this! A few minutes later, a woman greeted us and took us to our chairs. The pedicure area is separated from the manicure area by a glass "rain" wall. The air smells amazing as they have humidifiers spewing fresh mist combined with essential oils. The massage chairs were quite powerful. Hubby loved it. The massages were great and long. So relaxing. The man roamed the floor throughout our experience checking on everyone and handing out chocolates. My feet feel wonderful and this new mommy and daddy are very happy to have chosen this place for one of our first sans-baby outings. Expensive, but worth every penny for that experience! read more

Glam Day Spa is a wonderful nail salon with great service. I get my nails done with Rose. She's super sweet and does a fabulous job. The prices are right on target with other similar places in the area (not super cheap but also not crazy over priced). I'd suggest week day appointments or early morning if you come on the weekends. If you come without an appointment in the afternoon on the weekend be prepared to wait. A nice bonus - they serve wine or soft drinks at no extra charge. Wow! I was in the area and decided to check out Glam Day Spa. Glam Day Spa has been around for about 8 years, and I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and clean the interior of the place was - love the colorful chandeliers, the bright cheery space, the smell (refreshing and light, and not overpowering), and the friendly staff. They had a nice selection of OPI polishes. My nail specialist was John, who was as sweet as can be, so unbelievably awesome, and very accommodating! He was extremely meticulous, gave wonderful leg massages, took care of my (nasty) sandal-induced calloused feet, and took care of me so well! The foot soak was soothing, the massages were heavenly, and the nail work was lovely! I was very relaxed, even though the place was brimming with regulars and walk-ins. It seems as if GDS is all about the quality of the service and customer satisfaction - I was extremely satisfied! Prices are comparable to other nail places, and I like how they showcase their services (nail care, facials, massages, body treatments, tinting, waxing, spa packages, etc.) in a 'menu' book. I was also highly recommended to a foot care cream that smelled absolutely divine and am trusting it wholeheartedly to maintain my feet. solid 3.5 stars. My recommendation: make an appointment very, VERY early in the morning as this place gets very crowded. Best friend and I made an appointment for Spa Mani/Pedi at 9 am on a saturday: arrived even earlier so we can get breakfast at Grounded Coffee Shop next door (awesome, btw). Very clean and very spacious: lots of room to walk around without squeezing up against a manicure station. The pedicure chairs get five stars: honestly, I wish they can just do the manicures there as the massaging action is out of control. Spa Pedi is nice: my nail tech definitely did a good job of getting rid of my callouses. I'd recommend though that rather than getting the wrap (which is nice, but nothing special), you request that you get a parrafin dip for your feet. Soft as a baby's butt, for reals. Spa Mani is good: but ask for a good tech who has strong hands so that you get the most out of your massage. My tech was sweet, but her massage technique wasn't all that. Paraffin dip for the hands is A+++. My only issues: 1) nail polish choices: they have a range of OPI colors, but the problem is that the colors I chose were very gloppy or way too thin (too much thinner makes it very hard to paint. She had to put 5 coats on my fingers before it was acceptable!) 2) Spa pedi: forget the wrap, go for the parrafin dip. My leg massage was less a massage and more a gentle rub. 3) Kinda pricey. My tip 1) sign up for their birthday list: I got a card from them before my bday for 20%. 2) Get an early morning or weekday appointment - when they get slammed, I can tell that their service could be kinda bleh for the price. 3) Bring cash for tips! read more
