My appointment was with Carina, and she is my new hair stylist angel. I initially booked for a foilyage, but turned it into a bold-color-yage (my new term, hehe). The base is essentially a foilyage, but with Carina's magic made it lilac/violet. It was a long process that took about 6 hours, as expected, due to my dark hair going light. During this time, Carina made sure I was comfortable, hydrated, and somehow I also felt like a new bestie with the great talks we had. My highlights came out noticeably darker than what I asked for. When I pointed this out before leaving, Monica brushed off my concern, saying it was only the lighting in that part of the salon and that my hair would "lighten up" in a few days. It never did. Shortly after the appointment, I had an unexpected family emergency that required me to leave the state for several weeks. When I returned and contacted the salon, I was told they could have someone "look at my hair" -- but there was no guarantee they would fix it because I was outside their two-week correction window. This was despite the fact that I raised the issue during the appointment and was reassured rather than offered an actual solution. For the cost of the service and the way my concern was handled both at the appointment and afterward, I expected much better customer care and accountability. Unfortunately, I won't be returning and cannot recommend this salon to others based on my experience.
