My first time here was last year and I had to come again I just loved how they did my eyebrowns and I came for second time and still love how they did my brows again no long waiting , place is clean, neat employees are amazing and nice. The place is decent, and some of the specialists are genuinely skilled. Unfortunately, the entire service feels like a fast-food version of beauty care. The focus seems to be on getting as many clients through the door as possible rather than delivering the best quality. When eyebrow shaping is finished in about five minutes, it's hard to expect great results. The rushed pace inevitably affects the quality of the service. I believe the technicians could do a much better job if they were simply given more time with each client. If speed is your priority, you'll probably be satisfied. But if you care more about quality and attention to detail, be prepared for the possibility of inconsistent results. We decided to go with builder gel. The worse set I've ever received. I was there for 2 and a half hours and she still did not complete what I asked for. The gel was left so thick under my nails. I came here to get my wedding nails done and I'm really upset with my manicure, the nail technician (lady with black very curly hair) was so rough with my cuticles that I bled multiple times. She would not stop cutting up my cuticles. I even yelled "OUCH THAT HURTS" twice and she did not stop cutting them. My fingers hurt even 24 hours later.. my ring finger especially is all red and swollen. They gave me a slight discount when I complained but honestly shouldn't have charged me for these. The place was very nice and the owner was nice to accommodate me the same day. My nail tech however had an attitude and barely said a few words to me. I had asked for clippers because she wanted to proceed without trimming my nails. I said I'm happy to do them if she gives them to me. She said that's not something she has and that's not a professional tool. I said most places have it which is why I didn't bother clipping my nails before hand. She brought out the wrong colors then insisted the color would change after she applied two coats. I asked her again what the code was for the color and she of course had the wrong shade for both the base and top coat. Application was alright. She didn't apply anything crooked but used too much glue and rigorously filed and clipped my cuticles causing discomfort. When I told her to please be a little more gently. She looked at me surprised and said that's hurting you. I said yes it is since she wasn't cutting all the way and just yanking at my cuticle. read more

I've been going here for eyebrow threading for a few years now, although I no longer live in Glendale and it's a bit out of the way for me. I've tried so many eyebrow places over the years, trying to find someone who is affordable, friendly, and does a decent job. I always find myself coming back here, specifically for Roubina, who is also the owner. I believe there are a few other eyebrow techs who fill in for Roubina where she's not there, and they are okay, but I prefer Roubina. She's genuinely one of the kindest people you will ever meet, is very efficient with her work, and it's just so gracious and thankful. Also, the price is very affordable, especially for women like me who have naturally thinner eyebrows and don't want to spend $50 for simple threading. I've tried waxing and going to the influencers' brow artists but have got mixed results. I always consistently good results every day and I'm done in less than 10 minutes. Listen! This is hands down the best pedicure I've ever had in my life, all thanks to Suzanne! I walked in (no appointment and I've never been here before) on a Sunday 4 mins after they opened. They were super accommodating even without me having an appointment. A few different ladies greeted me and they even found out I had a hair appointment nearby that I had to try to make it by then, and they moved with such urgency to make me fit right in and get my Pedicure service started right away. I let Suzanne know that I struggled with ingrown toenails because I've recently gone to a place that cut too much. She suggested I try a Russian pedicure. Best decision I ever made, she cleaned every single piece of dead skin, cuticle, nail speck, I mean my feet have NEVER felt this good in my life. I think she ruined pedicure experiences for me cause I can't see myself going anywhere else. Not to mention the cost is super reasonable, I've seen places that charge a minimum of $100 and up for Russian pedicures. Their facility is so clean and luxurious, it was very relaxing. It's inside the mall but tucked away in a corner so it's not too loud outside or inside. That being said, my nails were extremely clean after Marine cleaned them, and my nail beds looked longer than they actually are. I booked an appointment for a simple manicure with regular polish. The second coat on the polish was extremely messy you could see it wasn't going to the edges on any nail. The nail tech didn't seem to understand English, so when I tried to tell her I wasn't happy with the shape, she just nodded and ignored me. Then they had the nerve to tell me I "should've spoken up" when I had been trying the whole time! To make it worse, the tech was messing around, joking, and even playing with the lights while doing my nails--completely unprofessional. The overall vibe was unorganized and full of bad attitudes. I've been getting my nails done by Jenny for the past 6 months. Once I found her, I can never go to anyone else. I always get a gel set and usually they tend to make my natural nails weak. Jenny really takes her time removing the old coating before applying a new coating and let me tell you, my nails feel fine. Do not go here! Was only in there for 10 minutes getting my gel removed. Other places will lightly drill and soak the nails. Here my nails were aggressively drilled and my pinky was drilled down to SKIN! I included a picture so you can see how I am not exaggerating.
