Nails peeled at the tips day one. Non Opi base/top coat.

Used them for natural nail manicures twice in three weeks for two different weddings. Both with Opi's Put it in Neutral. Pink. First lady did on Monday 10/20 and it lasted well past Sunday 10/26. Make sure the technician uses Opi base and top coat. Sam on Monday 11/10 did not use Opi and it peeled off like rubber the next day. Hate the damage the removal process of gel polish does to my natural nails.

I asked her to fix them and file them so they are not crooked and she did one and then was done so I just left but this looks horrible and not what I payed for at all if you can do square say so and stop deleting my review it's the truth.

Glamour nails is know for their dip. It's $42 dollars, you must tip in cash and can do a punch card if you want to get a discount after the card is full. I've had mixed results with the chipping of the dip manicure. I personally love their pedicure treatment!

I've been to this location before and received decent services. I really liked Holiday Manor Nail Spa, I do not like Glamour Nails. I walked in, on a Friday afternoon, just to clean up my nails with a basic manicure. I was able to be squeezed in, which at the time I thought was awesome. However, the technician rushed through my manicure and paid very little attention to detail. My full nail was not painted, there was paint where there didn't need to be paint, the shaping of most nails is uneven, and I am very disappointed. There are several great nail places in Louisville, I would not recommend this one.

I recently visited Holiday Manor Nail Spa with a friend and we had a great experience! The salon is decorated beautifully and they have so many stations set up. We came in on a Saturday and we're able to walk right in! We both had pedicures and gel manicures done. Our nail technicians were so friendly as well! I got a rose gold glitter for my nails and I love the shade. My manicure lasted well and looked great!

I never know what to expect when I visit a place with such a wide range of reviews, but I'm happy to report that my first experience at this nail salon was great! I made an appointment for a gel mani and pedi for 6pm and I arrived about 20 minutes early and was seated right away. You don't pick a color on the wall first; you just sit down at the station and they bring the color samples to you. They had an amazing selection of colors, I might add! My nails were done meticulously by a young man named Robert. He was a total perfectionist! The pedicure chair was very comfortable with a great massage function. My total for gel mani and pedi was $65 but they give a cash discount which brought it down to $61.75. Very fair for a great mani/pedi in a nice establishment!

Jenny always does a perfect job! I recommend this salon and Jenny to everyone! Got #47 get off my lawn green in dip.

This is my second time coming and they didn't disappoint. Both times, I had an enjoyable experience. I've only had my nails done by Micheal & Mary, yet the favorite among the patrons seems to be Tony. Either way, in the 2 hours(on both) occasions, everyone left with a satisfied smile. This place is beautiful inside, very clean, and they have a variety of polishes off all types. The dips are the star here though. I felt like the odd girl showing up to the party in sequins when everyone was wearing silk; getting my standard gel polish. This gem is tucked away in the Holiday Manor shopping center across from Kroger. My only advice is to call ahead to see if they have a wait. *This is not the same owner as the location in Middletown.

Wonderful experience with Mo! My lower back feels fossilized sometimes because it's soooo tight,…read morebut Mo was so thorough and put in a lot of work to help alleviate the pain and stiffness, which has plagued me for about 20 years. I am fit and I am a longtime yoga practitioner. I understand my role in managing these issues, but no amount of exercise can offset 8 hours sitting at a computer a day. A good massage is sometimes the only thing that can help when my body really starts locking up. Ive tried a number of massage therapists who are trained through westernized programs, and I even had a standing appointment with a wonderful reiki master who was a massage instructor for many years. Unfortunately, none of these therapists (who were legitimately excellent) were able to provide much relief for issues like persistent psoas tightness and snapping hip syndrome, etc. Mo is the first massage therapist who really made a difference in my pain and my low back and hip function, after just one session. I don't know if I truly do need deep tissue work or if it just *feels* as if I need deep tissue massage to me because of my usual experiences, but I always ask for deep work and rarely feel as though it's even close to being deep enough. A lot of massage therapists just don't seem to have more than textbook classroom-based understandings of the body, and they tend to try to use sessions to lecture me about the most basic things or assert their expertise, even while they're failing to recognize where my muscles are tight and how to actually address the tightness. That's why I decided to try an eastern-based practitioner this time. This was a fairly vigorous and intense session and I got the exact pressure I wanted/needed, without having to even say anything. It felt as though I finally got some release along my spine. She also did exceptional work on my shoulders and mid-back as well and gave a brief scalp massage. It made my whole week! Lalai is my new standing massage therapy provider and I highly recommend them, and Mo :)

She was incredibly kind and helpful, especially knowing it was my first time. I was the only person at the spa so I didn't experience anything more than the sound of music and running water. I wasn't sure what to expect. Here's what I learned that may be helpful to you for the head spa experience: - The Thai bed offered the comfortable, wider bed. It was heated and I was covered with blankets. - You will wear a towel on your top. Straps would be in the way. Come wearing a tube top, something that can be pulled down, or slip off your bra. - If you don't have warm socks, they offer fuzzy socks. - Lockers are provided for security. The key is attached to a bracelet and you can slip it on your wrist. - A scalp analysis is completed before and after. - The treatment started with a massage and it continues on and off throughout. - The pressure isn't painful but it can be intense, including on your scalp. My arm muscles were very tight so I was mindful to breathe through the soreness. - The head massagers are amazing. I've already looked up where to buy my own! -Your hair will be washed multiple times. Aveda products are used. Overall, a wonderful experience. It is definitely a splurge for me; however, this will be a treatment I'll come back for to keep my scalp and hair healthier, plus have an opportunity to relax.

This expiration policy was never stated anywhere on the gift certificate. There is no expiration date listed and nothing indicating it would become invalid. It was extremely disappointing to be told I couldn't use the gift certificate especially when the service was fully paid for and clearly specified on the certificate. This feels misleading and unfair to customers who receive gift certificates in good faith. Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing or gifting certificates from CaloSpa unless all expiration terms are clearly disclosed in writing.

The location was new to me, so heads-up, you do have to walk off of the main street to find it. I don't know if the reviews and website were all just so beautiful that the decor and vibe inside didn't meet the idea I had in my head? But I felt the space could use a little more life and warmth. In the actual room I was in, too. I wonder if a loose draped tapestry could help, maybe more mood lighting, some plants in the room--just a little warm TLC. Side note: When booking, I chose a 30 min massage and 2 add-ons. Then the calendar event for the appt said 45 minutes I assumed this was my massage and add ons. It's not. 15 minutes is set aside for consultation and undress (I think.) So because I chose 30 min massage and add ons, I only got to experience the add-ons. So just keep that in mind when you're booking. Maybe don't book on your phone at 1am, lol. Now my actual service was very nice. My hair smelled amazing after. And the masseuse was so sweet, thoughtful, helpful, and informative. She gave me some great tips for keeping up with my health. I have re-booked with her for simply an hour long massage service so I can experience the real thing! Looking forward to it.

Avoid their monthly membership - not worth the hassle…read more My husband originally set up an appointment for me at this location over a year ago and enrolled me in their monthly membership. For the first 8-9 months, everything was fine. I was going once a month for injury-related therapy and found it helpful. Then things started to fall apart. First, the therapist I was seeing for 8 months left. My next appointment was canceled, so I picked a new therapist--not a huge deal. But that new appointment was canceled last minute because the therapist called out sick. Again, life happens--I was understanding. But I couldn't get another appointment for almost a month. Then, our card on file expired. Instead of calling us (we'd been clients for nearly a year at that point), I received a text saying payment had failed and all future appointments were canceled until resolved. That was incredibly frustrating--not only had we been paying regularly, but I also had 2-3 appointments banked due to their own cancellations. Still, I called, gave them the new card, and asked to cancel the membership. I was told there would be one final charge (because of their 30-day cancellation policy) and that I'd have 60 days to use any banked sessions. I declined--I just wanted to be done. Fast forward 7 months--we just discovered they've still been charging my husband's card. When he called, the manager claimed there was no cancellation form on file. She agreed to cancel the membership but refused to refund any of the past six months. She said we still had 60 days to use banked services--but never provided the form she claimed was required in the first place, even though we asked. We checked online. Nowhere does it mention a cancellation form and we haven't been able to find one. It only says to call the franchise location to cancel. So either they're being shady, or their policies are a mess. To be clear: I never had an issue with any of the therapists themselves. But the membership system is flawed. They cancel appointments on you, make it hard to keep up with usage, and then make cancellation vague and difficult. If you sign up, be sure to get everything in writing--and double check they've actually stopped charging your card.

They want to argue that they told me, but I think something in writing would/should be automatic for a charge like this. Let the buyer beware, because their communication is pretty horrendous.
