I was disappointed as I had made an appointment for a Saturday morning at 9:45 AM and I arrived to the appointment at 9:48 AM due to parking difficulty and they told me that a walk in took my appointment and that I'd have to wait 20-25 minutes. Unfortunately, I could not wait and this is why I had made the appointment. The prices have increased and the gel polish usually chips in about 2 weeks when I get it done here. The staff are friendly, the place is clean and there is a large selection of colors to choose from, however I will need to find a place that is able to keep my appointments going forward. read more

I've gone to Paint a few times previously and each time the service was pleasant. I could've almost said that for my last experience there. After drying my nails, I collected my things and left the store, walked towards Kullen and got as far as the massage spa a few doors down to realize that the owner was calling and chasing after me. As soon as I turned around he went back into the store. Confused as to what was going on, I thought maybe I had left something. I walk back and the owner is at the door and I asked was there something you needed, his response was "oh have a good day". I'm now thinking something is up because there's no reason for the owner to chase after me to say have a good day. So I ask again is there a reason you chased after me, his response is now "oh sorry". The whole time he's blocking the door so I cannot reenter the store to find out what is going on. Last time I'll be going to a place where the owner chases after a customer and takes no onus as to their actions. So while service isn't bad...interactions with the owner can be weird. read more

Although this place is small, every time I've been here has been such a great and relaxing experience. I was convinced that SNS dip powder was not for me since they always crack when I go to the other salons within the week but the technicians here really know their craft. My nails lasts for 3 weeks without chips or any cracks at all. It looks basically the same as the day I get it done, I was mind blown! The only reason why I even get it done again is because my nails grown out super fast and I don't like it long. My regular technician is Yuki and she always takes her time to make it super relaxing for me. Temperatures checked when you walk in the door, each booth is separated from the other so although you may be sitting beside someone you are safe. Fast forward to my nails and I'm super impressed. Prices are what u expect, the design set was $105 not including tips but that was my first set. If you do a fill in it's only $55 and it's $15 extra if u want a design. If your getting tips/acrylic for first time I recommend preparing your cuticles bc I went in with relatively dry ones and it's pretty typical to get nicked (I was barely but still-- second time I went in I wasn't and I think it's bc my nail beds were hydrated) so many compliments from my nails, they are really durable I only lost one from the design one but that was bc I practically closed a door on my hand/finger. read more

I came here and got a Green Tea spa pedicure and it was well worth the money. It was $59 plus $20 for gel so definitely a little pricey but worth the treat every so often. I will say there are some spots on my feet that could've been scrubbed more like my heel, but other than that it was very relaxing. I had Tina, and she was very nice and thorough. I love how diligent they are but wow that's a long time for just a mani. Also my first manicure had a lot of lifting at the base at 2 weeks. My hair kept getting snagged. I got the Tips Full Set, and I was very happy with the way it came out :) Staff is friendly, and they are very serious about keeping it clean in here. I usually can keep them looking decent for about 3 weeks to a month, but in some places, it doesn't even make it to the whole week, which is completely absurd. Giving this place 3 stars- here's why. I came to this salon a few times here and there. Last week, I decided to try them out again since they are close to my job. I got gel ( they used GELAXY, never heard of that brand) I got home and was happy with the results. About 2-3 days later, I noticed chipping already. This happened the previous time I went and got powder which is why I stopped coming. I knew that it was probably a different quality nail polish than I'm used to. I came back again today to try them out one more time because I didn't feel like driving all the way out into the island to my normal place. Jessie did my nails. She was very nice and talked to me. I could see the difference in the way she applied the polish as well. I'm happy with my nails so far, I am hoping they don't crack. I felt the need to share my experience after visiting this nail salon several times. I came here twice pre-Covid for tips and a fill-in, and both times my tips looked thick and bubbly. I did not come back for almost 2 years until today. The weather is getting warmer so I wanted pedicures for myself and my 3-year old daughter who loves doing her own nails at home but was her first time visiting a salon. This salon is so close to our house. They took our appointment and I felt that they should not have taken it if they were going to rush us the way they did. I had specifically stated over the phone I wanted us to sit together but upon arrival the male worker (manager?) seemed frustrated at my request. We waited 15 minutes and were seated together. The pedicures were fine but lasting about 10 to 15 minutes which is a bit rushed. Afterwards my daughter also got a girls' manicure. Being a small child, one nail on her hand got messed up and one nail on her feet got messed up. The pics show how they "fixed" her nails. It looks like a 2-year old did her nails rather than a professional. Of course I told my daughter her nails look beautiful. The male worker was so rude to us the entire time and kept talking about me in his language. I am a customer that pays full price and I EXPECT BETTER TREATMENT. We came to have a nice, relaxing time and I left feeling stressed by the entire situation. I basically paid $45 for smeared nail polish and a man talking bad about me. read more
