Connected me by phone and Derek answered right away. Asked what time and date was good for my schedule. Made an appointment for the next day. Derek gave me a window of time and said he'd call/text when he was on the way. 30 minutes or so before my window, he texted and he was right on time! He was able to setup in front of my place and completed the replacement in a little over an hour. It looked great! Derek was friendly, professional and informative. After the wash, i was surprised to see someone else besides the normal "towel-lers" helping to dry my car. It was Shawn who pointed out a small crack on the driver's side of my windshield. I remember the day it happened. A @#$@#$% truck on the ICC passed me (where were the darn cops then? ahhh...catching other speeders, I guess?) and I saw the stone literally come up and WHACK. I practically forgot about it, until Shawn pointed it out to me and said he could fix it within 15 min. He called the insurance company and passed the phone to me, all while he was getting right to work. The summary? By the time I got off the phone, he was done and I was happy. I think the reviewer before doesn't understand that it isn't meant to be a perfect fix, rather to protect the windshield crack from getting worse and expanding, thereby saving you and the insurance company from having to replace the whole windshield. Overall, Shawn was very respectful and ingenious in working out a deal with Flagship where he helps them out, and he gets to provide a service without taking any extra time out of my life to get something that you KNOW that you need to get fixed, but keep putting off...... After doing some shopping around at Safelite, Banner, and Virginia Glass, I believe that Royal was the cheapest/most convenient - $220 for glass, installation, and tax. I didn't see too many reviews about it online, but my cousin told me about them. Their website is not much to look at, but don't be deterred. They were prompt to call back with a quote, straightforward to deal with, and offered to have somebody out to my office by the next day - no extra charge. True to their word, someone called early the day of the scheduled appointment and gave me a 2 hour time span in which to expect him. The technician was friendly, jovial, and a half hour earlier than expected. I could watch him from my window while he quickly went to work like a seasoned pro, and badabing badaboom, within a half hour he was pretty much done. While I was never happy to have to spend this money, Royal Glass made it a smooth, hassle-free process. If only more services were like this. I'd definitely recommend them.

I took a good long while to shop around, but Royal gave me one of the best prices ($262 for the windshield, installation, and tax - 2010 Toyota Corolla S). Plus, I didn't feel rushed or hassled when I called them. They were very easy to talk to. I was quoted $262 on the phone and when the guy came out a few days later (to my work parking lot), he made sure I knew the price before beginning. His quoted price was the same as the one given to me on the phone. It took him about 30 minutes to replace the windshield, I was able to pay with a credit card, and he told me that the windshield came with a lifetime leakage warranty. He was very nice, very helpful, and very efficient. He called around 11AM to tell me he would be to me between 1 and 3PM; he arrived a little before 2PM. Excellent! I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend this company :)
