During the installation they broke my dashcam. I have an integrated one and probably they didn't even know there is a camera and obviously broke it during the old windshield removal process. 2. Unfortunately I chose an aftermarket windshield and I was not properly informed about the difference. There is an information on their website that aftermarket glass just the same like OEM but not. It is not tinted at all and it's obviously less sound protected. Now it is much louder in the vehicle. So if you are going to replace the windshield please take off all equipment prior and use only OEM glass.

When we picked up the car, they refunded the windshield tint. I thought we had been overcharged--nope, they didn't tint it. We brought it back, and they only did a strip instead of the full windshield, so we had to bring it back a third time. We had verified all these details the second time but still had to bring it back because they were confused and kept asking the same questions.... We specifically asked for a cutout for the state inspection sticker. Instead, they ripped the sticker off and put it in tape. Now we have to get a new sticker and risk damaging the tint when we have to get it next year. We asked for the manager to call us and never received a call.

Well, I made an appointment for Saturday for them to come to my house so I could get work done in the morning. My appointment was from 8-1. I received emails and texts leading up to my appointment with reminders. However no one showed up on Saturday. I called and they rescheduled for the following Saturday. Again, I received reminders and was ready for my appointment between 8-1. But by 9am, I received a call that the tech called in and I could reschedule again or come up to the shop and they would complete the work. If you're relying on Safelite to come out to your location, think again. I was hoping the convenience of them coming to me would help me still get my work done while not taking up too much time on my Saturday. I had to end up going to the shop to get it fixed. I spoke with Don who said he would personally take care of my windshield. He did in about 30 minutes. His service was nice and professional- that's the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. I understand people call in for a number of different reasons but I think the company could do a better job at having a backup plan instead of rescheduling or forcing the customer to come to the shop. Overall experience was frustrating and I'm not entirely impressed with Safelite.

The choice of the caulk was very runny and it ran out, gravity pulling it downwards. As a result I have 2 sliding glass doors that formerly were able to slide, but now, due the caulk oozing down to the track, they are immoveable. They offered to put in new rollers and a new track for $900 each. That seems to me to be what a new sliding door would cost. Also, the technician got the black caulk on the carpet in the master bedroom, and on a window sill. He was able to get up some of the caulk from the carpet, but it doesn't look like before.
