The outer pane of the double pane sliding window in my wife's home office broke and was held in place by the inner pane and the screen. We called several window replacement companies here in the East Valley and obtained pricing estimates and delivery and installation times for each as well. Overall I've had good experiences with GlassBusters and would highly recommend over their local competitors! Every time I have ordered custom glass I have been treated with respect and courtesy and they have helped answer any questions I might've had. Additionally, they have provided rough estimates as to when my order would be ready and to my surprise they're usually ready within a couple of days, which is nice to see during a time where building supplies are taking a longer period to manufacture!! The only reason I am giving 4/5 stars is due to the glass I've ordered having had small cosmetic issues, such as hard to see scratches, and some blotches from suction cups that I have not been able to remove. So far, not so great. We'll see what happens when I pick up my glass desk top in a few weeks though. 2 stars because Samantha's sweetness is making up for Wendy's rude and snarky comments, otherwise it'd be zero stars. Long story short, in my initial call, I asked about glass tops for a desk and even though I told her I didn't know what to order, I guess Wendy still expected me to know all my options. I told her I wanted a beveled edge because I did nails and didn't want to cut myself. She said they didn't offer beveled edges, but that nothing went out of their shop sharp. Ok I guess that's my only option because I wasn't offered anything else or even given any advice. The only thing that was asked of me was the thickness of the glass I wanted. When I came to pick it up, Samantha greeted me, showed me my glass, and after paying my balance, I asked her about the other pieces next to mine that had a smooth edge. She said it was a "polished" edge. I told her that's what I had wanted. She was willing to rectify it by calling her manager, but he was unavailable. Wendy came to her aide and started to say "well that's what..." and stopped. I told her she never gave me other options when I called and she said she felt she gave me ALL the options. When I said I didn't want a sharp edge Wendy, did you offer me a polished edge?? No you did not. I said I had asked for a beveled edge and she proceeded to explain to me what a beveled edge was. As someone in the business, shouldn't she know to offer me a polished edge? Also, come to find out, they also offered tempered glass. Would have been nice to know since I do nails and tools sometimes drop on my desk. I said I'm not in the business, so I would look to them to give me advice based on what I said I needed it for. After a bit of back and forth, we waited for Samantha to give us the cost on a "polished" edge. While standing there waiting for Samantha, Wendy proceeded to give backhanded apologies saying, "I'm sorry you felt I didn't give you all the options because I felt I did". When I said I didn't know what the smooth edge was called, she ended it by saying, "I'm sorry you don't know what a polished edge is." I chuckled and let her have the last word. Normally I wouldn't let someone get away with it, but I could already see it wasn't going to get resolved with her and I probably wouldn't get my glass corrected and I had already paid $120 towards the now $165 piece. She even had the nerve to make sure Samantha was charging me correctly for the correction. read more

From my first point of contact, everything was great. The woman who answered the phone was very nice and polite, they showed up a few minutes early to the appointment to gather accurate measurements, and the price I was quoted was exactly what I paid when the job was completed despite being quoted nearly twice as much by other companies. Many companies I spoke with wanted twice as long for job completion estimating 2-week windows for dual pane window replacements, Glassbusters had it done in less than half that. The installer was also pleasant to deal with you could tell was very focused on customer service. I'd recommend this company not just for their price, but for professionalism and the quick response to completing my window replacement. I am so glad this company was recommended to me as they saved me a lot over the competition. Our outer window pane of the center window in the master bedroom suddenly cracked (and it was a huge one). I called around to a bunch of companies who all seemed to quote the same amount. It was so high I considered replacing the entire window plus the double slider unit for just a few hundred more. One of the businesses I contacted recommended Glass Busters and they undercut everyone by a lot. The window was just installed today and it's even better than they said it would be. I saved a little extra by skipping on the tint. We cover our windows with black screens anyway. It took like 2 weeks from initial call to get a measuring appointment to final install. There prices are about the same as other glass window repair service in the area . When installers to put new window in. They came and asked if the could please put masked on ( Covid ?) we have none. Then I asked if they would cover there dirty boots and his answer was I'll take my boots of if I don't have to wear a mask. I let it go . They were fast and me a New Yorker gave a tip. I was finishing cleaning and went to look glue on window with finger prints Really next time no tip until I inspect the work. Called was told send someone next week and I said ok wanting the same to come clean it. And return the tip ;) We thought about having this No mask back in and canceled him from coming and went out bought razor and goof off glue remover and cleaned it myself. Also when I called to complain there manager when I asked about masks said not one of there customers ever asked them to wear a mask and that the truck was cleaned out that morning and forgot to put any in . I was blown away by the honesty of this company! During the very few heavy rain and wind storms we've had over the past year water has been leaking into the house. We determined it was a window problem, not a roof problem, and called Glassbusters to replace the glass on four clerestory windows. Eddie came out to take measurements, and after inspecting the windows determined that replacing the glass wouldn't do anything to stop the problem. Instead, we need to address the cracks in the stucco located next to the "problematic" windows. Eddie saved us about $700! They came out within a day of calling. The first technician was very polite and friendly. They had to order the window. When the window came in, they sent a different technician the SAME DAY to install it. He was also nice and polite and had the window installed within a half hour. My son had my credit card with him so I wasn't able to pay at time of install so the technician said, "No problem, just call it in this afternoon." I thought that was great customer service. I am overdue for writing this review, as Glassbusters installed my shower enclosure a few months ago. They gave me the quote over the phone based on my measurements and description, then scheduled the measurement. The measurement was very precise and even found an issue that other companies missed (the curb was pitched the wrong direction, which would have caused quite a wet problem). Once my shower contractor fixed that, Glassbusters came back out to measure again. The enclosure glass came in a lot faster than I expected and the install was quick and easy. Everyone I dealt with at Glassbusters was very nice and professional, and the shower door looks great, fit great, and works great. These guys were awesome. I had to replace a sliding door glass since a rock hit it and completely shattered it. Called these guys Monday morning and was able to get me an appointment the next day. Unfortunately when they came, they had the wrong size glass and will be calling me back to reschedule. They called the next morning and was able to schedule me in the next day. We used a licensed general contractor to do some remodeling in our home. Replacing a large bathroom window was one of those . Although the contractor did some of the work himself he used subcontractors for quite a bit. One of those subcontractors was Glassbusters. Glassbusters rocks! I called 5 places around the valley to get quotes for glass for my new shower. My first impression when I called was, "man this Isaac guy is really thorough and helpful". I knew nothing about shower glass and he was happy to answer all of my questions and make sure I was well informed. I can't remember the name of the gentleman who came to measure but he was great! He was very quick and thorough in his work. Regarding Window Screens or Screen doors. Make sure you get a written estimate so you don't get surprised by very high labor costs. You would think they would know after all their years in business what was a custom size instead of surprising you with a large labor addition. Better yet, measure your existing screen and get it made at Lowes, Home Depot or a local hardware store yourself and pop it in. .A window screen will fit in your car and you can have the hardware store measure it for you. We called Glassbusters and one other company based on reviews to get estimates to replace the glass in our dining room. The two companies were very similar in responsiveness and provided the same price quote over the phone, but we ultimately chose Glassbusters. They answered their phone right away and were able to schedule an in-home consultation within a couple of days. Dave was the assigned salesman and he was very friendly and professional. Although, he was a late to the appointment because he used an outdated paper map rather than GPS. He answered all of our questions and provided enough information to upsale us on the three window panels instead of only replacing the broken single we had. We also chose to go with the Low E option to cool the dining room, which was the hottest room in the afternoon. It took about one week for our window order to be complete and to schedule an installation date. Our salesman, Dave, was also our installer, but was again late to the scheduled time. He said his first appointment had ran late, but we would have appreciated a call to let us know of the hour delay. Dave had a very professional and personable attitude and worked quickly. One thing, it seemed that with paying over $800 they would clean the windows at the end of installation. Overall, the service and quality were good. read more
