What a trip! We returned to Maui this time with…read moregrandchildren and toe. We wanted to take them on some kind of unforgettable boat ride so we had to return to this company. They are fantastic. We found the Dolphin Watch Sail Deluxe which was perfect. And there were dolphins! Literally hundreds of spinner dolphins all over the place just offshore. What a treat. The kids were thrilled. The first thing the captain when he saw them was called all the kids up to the (trampoline) on the front so that they could see the dolphins underneath. The kids were so excited. It was amazing. The boat was spacious for the number of people we had on the tour. Maybe 30? Just a guess. There were lots of seats indoors and outdoors, and people tended to move around quite a bit. The staff were wonderful. They told us about the animals that we saw: spinner, dolphins, green sea turtles, and monk seals. There was also a photographer who took pictures of family groupings. They weren't cheap, $90, but she took so many of our family. It was totally worth it. They served lunch, snacks, and drinks. My only suggestion is that it might be worth a thought for them to eliminate the lunch entirely. There was nothing wrong with it. Pork sandwiches and salad were great, but I just don't see how it's necessary given that the tour left at 1:30. That seemed to keep the staff pretty busy and maybe needlessly? I don't know if it would be worth reducing the price by just a small amount and eliminating that because I'm not sure if it's that much of a draw. It was absolutely perfect. We all loved it! We also learned about the history of Hawaii, fun facts about the area, and how to identify different species while we snorkeled. Our instructor was professional, knowledgeable, and even captured photos and videos of us underwater, which was a great bonus. Not just because we saw 4/5 whales, or that the weather was perfect, or that during our snorkel, we saw two turtles, countless fish (including a mahi mahi chasing flying fish) and a beautiful reef. All those are incredibly awesome! But I must admit, having Griff as our tour guide was really what put this trip over the top! He was outstanding in every way. A short walk to the harbor and we were on the boat. The Captain, don't remember her name, was very informative and ensured safety protocols were understood by everyone. The boat was clean and accommodating for our group of 10. The sail was beautiful and mesmerizing. The Captain took time to give instructions on how to sail the boat to the children onboard. She also aloud them to have turns at the helm. Very exciting work for the kids. There were good options for beverages and appetizers. The musical playlist was pretty good and set the tone for the island vibes. We felt that we were in more than capable hands. Next time we come back, we'll look for this tour line and crew.

Captain - Ely = smooth and steady. Clear directions and focus on safety protocols. We felt safe the entire afternoon on board .. especially for one member who first time on a sail boat and snorkeling in open ocean water.
