Glaze serves up the best donuts in Bergen County hands down. I've tried them all! The great thing about them is they don't rip you off just because they're good. Some of the others are charging twice the price and can't stand up to them. Their cashiers are friendly and accommodating. I checked out Ridgewood location over the weekend and it is consistent with New Milford. Definitely worth the ride if it's out of your way! read more

Overall: if you like your donuts fried...pretty good...I prefer mine baked....ate one that was just made and when I took a bite a flow of oil went through my teeth White vanilla crisp: not too sweet and good flavor Apple crisp: nice Apple flavor but not as good as the ones that you can get from an apple orchard Chocolate frosted: chocolate frosting a little too sweet for me and the donut itself is nice and fluffy Coffee: too bitter and didn't have a good coffee flavor 4/2/16 Bought the rainbow donut...it's pretty big and pretty good, not too sweet. read more

My friend and I came here on the 2nd stop of a donut crawl on a Tuesday afternoon. This was definitely the best of the 3 places we went. They had probably 20-30 donut flavors.The flavors of gourmet donuts were great. We got a blueberry pie (stuffed with blueberry and blueberry frosting on top), and apple fritter (also stuffed with apples), and a Twix flavored donut. All were delicious. The Twix had a nice crunch. Overall, the donuts were all great quality with amazing flavors! I also got a decaf latte that was good. Service was quick and friendly! I will definitely come back here! read more

I don't love donuts. They're OK. Glaze does a helluva job though. Friendly workers, with tasty and fresh doughnuts. I visited Saturday afternoon for a quick snack with my sister. She got some pistachio donut and I got a chocolate/raspberry glazed donut. Both were pretty good. Coffee was good too. Very cheap at $2.00 for an artisan (special) donut, considering the prices of the better known fancy donut places. Plus, my sister scored a free regular glazed donut. Really nice people, with good customer service. read more

The donuts here are so disappointing it makes you wonder how they're still in service. I got a glaze and a Boston Creme. The donuts were very dry on the inside and oily on the outside. You're better off going to Dunkin down the street, they're better and cheaper. read more

Glaze Donuts known for a variety of specialty and standard donut choices. Gave them a try because I tasted their triple layer Italian cookie donut and was impressed. I stopped by to try the other selection and tried 3 'standard' donuts and 3 'speciality' donuts. I can say without hesitation that the donuts were all lackluster. The presentation is very picture friendly and artisan-ally aesthetic, but the substance was lacking a large depth of flavor and texture. Just felt like the the star of the donuts was the topping and not the donut structure. Was hoping for better, but not a terrible option if you only have Dunkin' available. read more

Glaze has really gone downhill lately. I went there yesterday and they charged me $25 for 7 Donuts, only two of which were specialty donuts. Four of the donuts were jelly donuts, which used to be good, but now they use this awful gelatinous goop instead of jelly. read more

I've been frontlines fighting the coronavirus as a northern NJ essential employee right in the thick of it all, so the lack of reviews be it work or social distancing/avoiding any food from the outside as much as possible I will be catching up on reviews I never had a chance to write from recently or I've been a regular for a good amount of time. Thank you and be safe. These may be the best donuts I've ever had. For a mom and pop donut place they win, against any chain, they easily win but obviously it's a bit different of a comparison. I still go for the plain old stuff like jelly and glazed (which are delicious) but their artisan donuts like maple bacon, Italian cookie, etc are awesome! I usually mix it up and get a good mix of crazy and normal donuts. They do have some other items as far as drinks and I believe even sandwiches? But I'm there for the donuts and only the donuts! Check them out you won't be disappointed read more

Whenever my sweet tooth kicks in, the first thing I want is a donut. For this, I planned two separate visits which I'll just review in one. As you can see the photos, I think there were a total of 11 split with others. PB&J and maple bacon are usually my two favorite flavors, and they seem very popular here too. As a PB lover, I see people say there is too much. Even though there is a lot, it's never too much for me. All the donuts had pretty good flavor, I've just had better donuts. These are a little cakey for me. Great selection though, and probably the best in the area. read more

This was my first time having Glaze and I absolutely loved it! The flavors were on point and I enjoyed how fresh they were. The reason for just 4 stars ?.. half of the flavors I originally ordered were all gone by the time my Uber driver showed up. However the woman that helped me over the phone was very kind and extremely helpful and offered other options. I look forward to visiting in person as well trying other flavors. However now I know I need to get there before they are all out. That's okay. Game on! read more

Very friendly service. 3pm and not a lot of donuts available, but enough to get a decent flavor variety. At least of what I saw in the pictures, I saw a lot more donuts. Overall a good donut. The actual donut is perfectly balanced. Not dry/overly moist. I came for donuts, didn't glance at what else they have. I saw some drinks too. Definitely would go back and try others. Has another Too Good To Miss shop turned into another Not Good Enough To Go? If the ToGoodToGo box we purchased from New Milford Glaze is an indication, it is the latter. The original immensely popular and delicious Glaze Donut shop, IMO, was acquired, solely with the emphasis on expansion. Despite claims to the contrary, it no longer maintains the former quality. The donuts we received were not good. Of the 5 in the box 4 were raised donuts, one cake. The raised variety were flavorless with no yeasty background. They had little texture - too soft and cottony- and were covered with a too-sweet frosting or sugar glaze. One had a Cinnamon Toast Crunch topping that provided the only flavor. The cake donut similarly lacked flavor. The shop itself was clean, though it looked bare, not just because it was end of day. There was no posted menu or price list not even on the display case donut name tags. And, as noted in a few recent reviews, staff could use some customer service training. We arrived 20 minutes early for the scheduled 6:30 PM pickup. There were two girls behind the counter. At the register one was just chatting with a boy her age. At the other end, the second girl was counting coins on top of the display case. When I approached her, she seemed a bit surly because I had the nerve to bother her. I volunteered that we were a bit early and she rudely refused to get the bag, saying "it's policy. You can wait here or come back." Well, we waited. The box was not worth the wait or the few bucks we paid. Maybe you will have different results. Regardless, there are much better donuts to be had elsewhere. read more

Love this place. I've been a big fan of "modern" donuts for a while since Doughnut Plant and Dough was introduced to NYC but Glaze is great, too. My family and I ordered 5 dozen boxes for our neighbors and they were a hit! Who doesn't love some awesome doughnuts. Plus, while we had them delivered to us initially we called Glaze to see if we can some additional boxes to split up the doughnuts and they happily obliged. I'd come back here again and again if only my lack of a six pack would let me. read more

Friendly staff and really unique donuts you cannot find elsewhere. Yup, definitely recommend it. The boyfriend and I fought over the canoli one like it was a UFC Match. Skip the Italian Cookie unless you really love them. I didn't know what they'd taste like. It was like a Monet. Gorgeous to look at but once you got to close, it was a huge mess. read more

Ordered 6 dozen doughnuts for my teachers, on the way to pick them up at 7 am , I get a call the warehouse never made my order , I tell them that I can pick up later and they say they'll call me back, I get a call back , he tells me they ran out of ingredients in the warehouse? They used to make them in the store , expanded and now in a warehouse , they didn't seem to care , they were like will give you a refund , like they were doing me a favor! Glaze Donuts has a variety of interesting and pretty looking donuts. I've had a couple of flavors and they were all delicious. I'd recommend sharing with people because one fancy donut was definitely more than I could handle. I had the famous rainbow cookie donut and it was sooooo good but way too big and filling to finish on my own. I would probably come back again in the future to buy donuts for a special occasion or a party. read more

I have been going to Glaze Donuts' locations regularly. I absolutely love donuts and one of my birthday treats this year from my boyfriend was a trip to Glaze. My boyfriend selected two classic flavors: a strawberry frosted one and a powdered sugar one that was supposed to be filled with mango. Unfortunately, the cashier gave us a lemon filled donut and neither of us knew until he bite into the donut when we were in the car. Since it was my birthday, I selected the remaining four: Ferrero Rocher, maple bacon, PB&J, and blueberry cheesecake. I ate these four donuts over the course of four days. I started with the Ferrero Rocher and that was probably the best and most basic of the four. It had a nice chocolate flavor with a bit of crunch from the chocolate piece. I would definitely order it again. The next morning I opted to try the maple bacon for breakfast. I love salt and bacon, and I'm okay with maple; this donut proved to be too salty. It was a bit difficult to get through. I tried the PB&J donut next. If you know me, you would know that I love peanut butter...a lot. The PB&J donut had way too much peanut butter even for me. Regardless, I powered through. I ended my donut journey with the blueberry cheesecake. I absolutely loved the flavor of this donut as an avid cheesecake person but, it was a lot and quite filling; it was packed inside and towering on top. I almost wish it was a mini donut instead. Would I grab that donut again? Absolutely. I think next time I would cut it into portions to enjoy at different times. The Glaze Donuts are always delicious, there's no denying that. However, what disappoints me most is the selection at all of the locations I've been to when I'm there. I follow their Instagram account and I always hope for a red velvet or bananas foster donut. Unfortunately, those flavors are never there. I've decided that the next time I choose to visit, I will call ahead to guarantee that the flavors I want to try are in stock. read more

I came here around 8 on a Monday because my friend and I had a hankering for donuts. We both got a half dozen of the artisan donuts. My donuts were very good. Some better than others, of course, as it's all a matter of personal opinion. My favorite was the Somoa donut and the German chocolate caramel one. The girls behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back again for more donuts. So why only 3 stars? Well this is for two reasons: First, they need more flavor combinations. Maybe I'm unfairly comparing them to cupcake shops but really, isn't it essentially the same thing? Cupcakes were last years cool thing (or maybe it was the year before that) and now donuts are in. The cupcake world of flavors is pretty serious and I don't think Glaze, as the front runner of the donut world, has encompassed all the different combos. Second, the combination of how you can purchase donuts is inconvenient. Donuts are classified as artisan or classic and you can go with either or. If you do a half dozen like I did, you can do three artisan and three classic. I found this rule rigid and annoying because I wanted only one from the classic, the fruity pebbles, and knew I would have to purchase a half dozen artisan and then the single fruity pebbles donut separate. So I didn't purchase it at all. In other news, they had a "coming soon" section with waffle breakfast sandwiches. I'm very excited about that! Been here a 4 or 5 of times and have had a consistent experience. Decided to come here today to grab some midday dessert with my sister. It's located on a corner towards the end of a small strip mall next to New Milford high school. Good location and ample parking for a quick stop. The store itself is pretty small, just 5 or so tables, so definitely not a great place to set up and get work done. The display case was almost half empty when we arrived. We grabbed the last Oreo donut and heard that they didn't have any more of another variety donut in the back for another group that was being served. For being only 1 PM, it seemed a bit too early to be selling out of several varieties of donuts. We got a half dozen donuts (half classic, half artisan for $11) consisting of the Oreo, Twix, cinnamon sugar Nutella, cookies and cream, chocolate chip, and glazed cake donuts. There are a mixture of dense cake-like donuts and fluffy donuts, so depending on your preferences, you are most likely to find a donut you like. The flavors were good, nothing extraordinary like Doughnut Plant in the city, but for some local artisan donuts, it fits the bill. Given the local competition and quality of donuts, I give this place a solid 4 stars. If this place was located in the city, it would easily be 3 stars. The girls working behind the counter did not smile once and showed zero interest in serving us. An emphasis on customer service would make a huge difference for this small donut shop. read more

Want a donut? You'll have a hard time choosing! This sweet spot tucked away in a small shopping center on River Rd. isn't one to pass by! Very friendly service, will answer any questions you have about the different flavors (there's a lot!). The donuts are very fresh and made to perfection. The Dell Coffee Co is located on Oradell's bustling Kinderkamack Road. I've driven by it so many times and finally decided to check it out. There's free street parking and a lot in the back. The atmosphere is charming, cozy, and calming. The owner did a great job with the interior design! Lots of plants, earthy tones, wooden furniture, large windows with natural lighting, pillows, and comfortable sofas. They have wifi and outlets, making it an ideal place to work, study, or read in. Seating is a bit limited - there's a communal table that fits six people, three stools at a counter, and three small sofa chairs. I visited on weekday afternoons and didn't have a problem finding a seat. The drink menu has your classic espresso beverages, tea, and cold brew. They have a food menu with sandwiches, wraps, avocado toast, and acai bowls. They also have fresh pastries to choose from like croissant cubes, scones, banana bread, and muffins. The baristas are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They have a lot of regulars here and you can tell that this is the type of coffee shop that will remember your name and order. I've tried... *Hot Salted Caramel Latte ~$6 - A creamy and comforting drink! The milk to espresso ratio was just right. The espresso was strong and went well with the richness of the caramel. It wasn't too sweet at all - flavors were well balanced and I could taste the hints of sea salt. *Churro Croissant Cube $8.50 - Highly recommend! It's a croissant in the shape of a cube. It's flaky, crispy, and coated with cinnamon and sugar on the outside. The bread was soft, airy, and buttery on the inside. I loved the contrasting textures! *Sugar Cookie Latte ~$7 (vanilla and almond infused espresso with whipped cream and holiday sprinkles on top) - This was more on the sweeter/sugary/milky side, which was fine with me. The cookie flavor was subtle. I would have liked the espresso to be stronger. *Cold Brew $4.50 - Not a fan. The brew was too bitter and tasted watered down. I added milk and sugar, but that didn't help. *Egg Salad Sandwich $10 (tomato, lettuce, egg salad on sourdough bread) - The bread had a crunchy crust with a chewy interior. It had a tangy flavor to it, which I enjoyed. The egg salad was too salty. Overall, the sandwich was decent, but not great. It's small for the price; I don't think I'd pay $10 for it again. Keep supporting your local coffee shops!

The cashiers were great at making the hot beverages, and they asked if we had a rewards program with them. We gave them our phone numbers, and it turned out none of us had signed up or that they expired. Here's what we purchased: - Cafe Mocha - 5/5 stars. Perfect balance of espresso and chocolate. The barista even made a heart on top. Although the lid covered it, the gesture was appreciated. - Cold Brew - 5/5 stars. Smooth and refreshing. - Chausson aux Pommes - 4/5 stars. A French apple turnover with a perfectly crisp crust and tender, flavorful apples that weren't mushy. - Croissant Donut - 5/5 stars. Flaky, buttery croissant-like in shape of a donut, filled with custard that was bright due to the citrus, and well-balanced between sweet and savory. - Blueberry & Cream Brioche - 5/5 stars. Their crust was crispy and light. It was an indulgent treat that was well balanced as the custard was rich, soft, and just sweet enough without being heavy. Patrons can help themselves to cream, milk, utensils, and napkins, which is convenient. The seating is roomy and relaxing, perfect for lingering over coffee and pastries. It's located in the Home Depot strip mall. Parking is usually easy on weekdays, but weekends can get a little hectic. Overall, this visit completely changed my opinion of Paris Baguette. The coffee and pastries were impeccable, and the environment made for a pleasant, stress-free experience. Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby.
