We went for lunch on a Sunday. The establishment is very large and has a lot of TVs with every sports event on you can think of. The ambiance is your typical sports pub feel. I ordered their famous chicken tenders with fries and signature honey mustard dip. The tenders were crispy and tender. One of the best tenders I have had. My wife had the Tully sandwich that contained Shaved turkey and ham lightly grilled and topped with melted white American cheese and bacon with lettuce and tomato on butter toasted deli bread. She thought it was a large portion and tasted nice. The server was friendly and brought us refills of our drinks without asking once it got low. One thing I've learned over the years is some places just always get it right. From the helpful hostesses and wait staff, to the clean and fun atmosphere Tullys never disappoints. We are Tully's regulars but I never think to leave a review. Everyone (at least I think everyone) loves Tully's for their chicken tenders, but I've honestly tried so many different things and never been disappointed. Tonight I had a burger. I earned a free one on their Monday/Thursday night football punch card. I just went with the basic Bacon Cheeseburger but it never disappoints. A good amount of bacon. Nice melty cheese. I passed on the fries today because I recently learned they have tuna mac... and it's delicious. The photo doesn't do the burger justice, there's also lettuce under there. My fiancé got the football late night tender special. I think it was 5 tenders and fries, and it's only 7.99. The service is ALWAYS great. Everyone is so friendly. Tullys interior is pretty dim and dreary place, which is kind of surprising for a place geared towards kids. The food is always solid though and today was no exception. I've had some good experiences here and some bad experiences here. It depends on who the server is. There was one girl who kept a lot of money as a tip when I hadn't even tipped yet and that's enough to give the place one star. There was another manager that tried to kick me out in a snowstorm 45 minutes before closing (twice) even when about 20 other people were still eating (and one table had just ordered). For these reasons, I can't give more than 3 stars. They used to have the best chicken tenders in the world but these days the chicken tenders are hit or miss. It's a shame because they really were that good, and occasionally you can still get a gem of an order. Trust me, they were so good. The chain is from the Syracuse area as far as I can tell, and is regional. Like your mother. Anyway I still highly recommend that you come and give them a chance because they are pretty tasty but get the buffalo style and make sure you get extra buffalo sauce on the side for dipping. Average sports bar vibe. Once they sit you at the table they bring you a bowl of popcorn to share. I was surprised this happened during my visit since I came during Covid-19. They also asked if we wanted to get the menu via QR code or a hard copy before we sat down. We asked for a hard copy and they gave us one to share that was laminated. They had a roll of paper towels for extra napkins on the table as well. The popcorn was similar to most places that give out popcorn. The major food item they advertise are their hand battered tenders. I had the Asian and my brother had the buffalo tender dinners. The Asian had a sweet and spicy flavor that complimented the tenders perfectly. I tasted the sweet flavor more than the spice though. I barely even tasted any spice (I eat spicy usually as x-hot so that may have been just my taste buds). It was a nice change from regular flavors on tenders and the sauce was dripping off at times. The buffalo tenders already had the seasoning in the breading. It was good, but when you usually eat hot, you could use more heat to the flavor. The Asian came with ranch dipping sauce and blue cheese for the buffalo. Both dinners came with fries and coleslaw. The fries were average to other places and the coleslaw wasn't that great. It was watery and tasted old. Since I came during Covid-19 the only problem I had was that they had just larger dividers between the booths and sat us right behind another booth. I haven't been to Tullys in about 15 years. I'm always apprehensive about certain places like this as it's very similar to Applebees, Fridays, etc - but I was completely blown away. The waitress was so friendly and amazing, even with huge tables to serve and how busy they were she made such a effort to keep us happy, cozy and full. The inside has a sort of sports bar feel with sports memorabilia, and lots of TVS. After seeing us to our table our waiter brought us a bowl of never-ending popcorn which was warm, buttery and delicious, a very good start to the evening. I ordered the Grilled Sausage Crisp Appetizer which was really tasty, albeit a little greasy. The sausage, cheese and pepperonchini were the perfect blend of sweet and spicey. The marinara sauce was typical and made for a good meal. My husband ordered the Asian tenders, he enjoyed the sweet and spicey sauce and the portion seemed to be a good size. Recently came here for dinner with my cousin as we were looking for someplace that was family friendly with a nice drink menu. I hadn't actually been in the restaurant in years. I think I got takeout once during covid. The reason I decided to post a review was the fact that I had my infant in a carseat with me and the hostess acknowledged it and asked if I wanted a booth. When we arrived at the booth, she asked me to make sure that the baby seat fit in the booth. This was above and beyond and much appreciated.
