Been here a bunch of times. Everything is homemade. The bakery is great, but for me the breakfast is the best in town. I have always had great food here, but one memorable special was the pierogie omelette and another was the Thanksgiving eggs benedict. Great food great prices. read more

I have had it with this place. The head waters is miserable. The are not friendly, they actually look llke you are annoying them. I feel out of place when I walk in there. And they don't care a thing about customer service. Especially, I believe it may be the owner, is so miserable, no smile no eye contact. Bought a few baked goods, I would have bought more but her ignorance I have had it. Gave her my card and she asked me if I wanted to put a tip on it. WHAT???? The food was excellent! I ordered some pancakes and I couldn't even finish them they were so big. I will definitely come back because it's so close to my house. One problem that we had was the service. It was super slow and we were practically the only people in there. The staff isn't very nice to each other and they forget about their tables. Waited about 20 minutes, then ate for 15. Then we waited about 25 minutes for our check. I'd definitely check it out on your way through, great place! read more

I went here for a late breakfast on a Saturday, and was happy with my food but not thrilled. I ordered the special which was pumpkin pancakes with a side of bacon or sausage. I got the bacon and it wasn't quite cooked enough for my liking and was very greasy. The pancakes were huge and pretty delicious but did seem a little under cooked in the middle. Another at my table had an omelet which looked really good and she enjoyed. Someone else had the cinnamon raisin French toast with sausage, but said that you couldn't even tell that it was a flavored toast and it was very eggy. The sausage tasted more like a sweet Italian sausage rather than a breakfast sausage which was a little disappointing. The service was good and I did enjoy the pancakes so I would go back to try some other things. read more

Good breakfast haunt, we have recently moved to the area and would probably consider it our go to for breakfast fair. Good portions friendly wait staff and normally you get seated rather quickly. The bake goods are pretty amazing recommend the black bottom cake. Lunches are as good as the breakfast and we have not stopped the for dinner as of yet but their specials seem to interesting and if the breakfast is any indication of the dinner well we should be pleased. Tried out dinner here which was pretty good as well. Still the go to breakfast place and don't see that changing anytime soon. read more

This is a nice little place. I'd say the food is about equally as good as the Gourmet Diner on the other side of Clarks Summit, but one nice thing is this place is a lot bigger, so you don't feel like you're crammed in a tiny booth. My wife got the Italian Hoagie, which was good. Nothing special, but the bread was very good which was a plus. I got the Meatloaf Melt sandwich, and that thing was awesome. We had split our meals, and later that day my wife was still talking about how good the meatloaf melt was. I'm not sure if they have it every day, it was on the specials board. If it's not on the menu, ask if they can make it, you won't regret it. My father in law told us we had to try the cinnamon toast, and that was another winner. Probably the best cinnamon toast I've ever had. Like I said, they do some thing better than others, but overall all the food is very good, and we'll definitely be back. read more

Place was not busy at all, ordered drinks and the waitress brought them one at a time, there were only two of us. Sat there for about 15 minutes and the waitress never came back so we decided to leave. Cups were old and FILTHY. Very depressing place, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. We visited Glenburn' s for Mother's Day 2018. They were spot on with food and service. Although we naturally waited for a table, once seated food came hot and delicious. The staff was courteous and hustled. The bathrooms were clean. The bakery case was stock full. The biscuits and corn bread should not be missed. We would not hesitate to recommend or visit the Glenburn again. read more

This was my first my visit and it was excellent! I ordered an open faced turkey sandwich with mashed, gravy veggies. The broccoli was cooked to perfection, crisp and buttery good. The turkey piles high (And not lunch meat turkey) real turkey and a thick slice of homemade bread. No Junk,,, this is a real meal. Dessert was homemade rice pudding and yes it was homemade. My dining partner has a mushroom and Swiss cheeseburger that was huge. No disappointments from this meal, I will go back again. I highly recommend this place. read more

Good parking and easy access just beyond Clarks Summit. You enter and leave passing the yummy bakery goods case (pies, cookies, brownies, muffins etc.. What we have sampled from it was very good. It is pretty large with about 10 booths and 10 tables. Some accommodate groups of 6-8 or more by rearranging. Breakfast is good here. Nice menu with some creativity. The tomato, onion, cheese omelet is usually excellent. There are many others with some creativity. (e,g, kielbasi). Potatoes are not the default with some dishes so check carefully if you care. Extra cost over grilled potatoes are very good instead of fried if you prefer. Side toast is from the bakery of course an excellent. Get a grilled muffin as a side special treat (or alone with the decent coffee), they are pretty big. Most breakfast (and lunch) portions are large. Take home is frequent, especially if one opts for a pastry or pie with the meal. Creative sandwiches and soup are the lunch fare but breakfast available through lunchtime too. Service is generally good, but as with many places when things get hectic and the house is packed, there are occasional minor stumbles. Remember to check out the pies and such as you pay the check. The cookies (chocolate chip are good) make good road food. read more

The food here is always delicious. My family is there almost once a week amd we never have a bad meal. They bake a lot of their own breads and have a ton of awesome pies, cookies, brownies, etc, to eat there or take home. For the most part the wait staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it is SLOW. Do not go there if you are in any sort of rush or get frustrated by waiting for your food. Other than that, I love it there. read more

Our favorite place for breakfast and brunch! When I go to other breakfast places, the toast is warm bread, or as hard as melba toast. Glenburn Grill and Bakery bakes ALL of their bread right there using the freshest ingredients and actually toasts it to perfection! We stopped for dinner the other night and had better salmon than I have had in fine dining restaurants at half the price! It was perfectly seared and topped with a "to die for" lemon dill sauce. Julie is extremely rude. I come here often and usually the waitresses are nice, but today as i was checking out I've never felt like more of a problem for someone in my life. My friend and I asked to split the check and she made a huge deal out of it and slammed the calculator on the counter and did the math, and then she got even more angry with us when we handed her our comet card for the 10% discount.. she was literally complaining about us in front of our faces with our waitress. Even the people behind us said good luck with her as they were leaving. I spend a lot of money at this place and introduce many of my friends to this restaurant, and to be treated like this over asking for a split check is ridiculous. read more

Three is a charm. One time I got a western omelet and the onions and green peppers were burned black but I went back again a few more time. Then on a later visit I went to drink my soda and noticed a bug floating in my drink and when I informed the waitress she just took the drink and replaced it like this is normal. Well I went back last night to appease my daughter and ordered a meatloaf diner. The meatloaf was three thin slices and they had been warmed on the grill (I thought meatloaf was baked) and the slices were burned on the bottom. I sent it back and the waitress returned with the plate and said this is all the meatloaf they have and will give me 20% off. Not to return again. read more

Food is so delicious that we tolerate the unfriendly staff on Saturday mornings. Wonderful breakfast items, great coffee and baked goods. Staff looks unfriendly when you enter, make you wait and make you feel so unwelcome. Why don't they fire them and hire friendly people? The scowling faces that greet and serve you detract from the incredibly delicious food. Too bad they don't care about the service. The staff is truly awful and I dislike going there because of them. I know the owners very well, but this is still an honest review. This grill was completely remodeled since the last owner operated Chef Schivione's They didn't use high priced items like granite and marble and chandlier's, but it's remodeled with average priced items. They did invest more into the kitchen, appliances, and bathrooms. Whenever I visit the grill, I never see a dirty kitchen, eating area, or even the bathrooms,. They do an excellent job on keeping their investment clean. As far as the food, you get a large portion of delicious food for your money, and the bake goods are always fresh.
