Mark the owner is a fraud ! He will rip your new car apart and claim it's for repairs to extract money and labor costs out of your insurance. Damaging the interior of your car . He will write up a estimate request payment for parts and labor and will basically repair around the area and pocketed the rest of the money . He claimed to my insurance that a new tailgate needed to be installed and that new oem tail gate was not new and reinstalled . the old one was destroyed in the repairs so even if the dent was removed the interior damage shows it's my old door and not the new replacement. All I am saying here is this person is s lier and a thief . Don't take your car here because they will all cover for one another when u start to question them they send another guy u never met before to cover up for the owner that will nolonger deal with u because u are on to his shady crap. Mark will claim that fixing a small area entails taking the car apart and surrounding by the way once people tear into your car it never goes back the same basically destroying the value of your car. I will say this again if u take your car here u you car will be damaged and unless your insurance is in network with that shop they will walk away for any police or guarantee the offered u in the signing of the agreement . You will be left with zero help .they will them ask u to pay out of pocket to make them fix the area they damaged . If I had not remember and taken pictures of my car prior to his work I wouldn't of noticed that he never replaced my door with the one one that was ordered . I remember the areas of the damages and recognized it was still my same old door just repaired from the outside. I kept track and the receipt for my insurance company showing payment ! Please go the your network for guaranteed repairs and if u don't please go to another place besides Glendale auto body because it's not a honest safe place for repairs .this place is not safe ! Oh. My. Goodness. This shop has the best, most professional, most courteous staff I have ever encountered. I took my car in to fix a rather deep, 3 in. long scrape/dent that had occurred while it was parked in Glendale. I had taken it to the dealer to get an estimate, and it was an exorbitant amount that they wanted to charge me. I went to Glendale Auto Body and from the first moment, Mark was helpful, knowledgeable, polite and very straight forward. Jessica was also lovely. She showed me the entire breakdown of what I was being charged. I didn't see one thing out of place. they didn't try and push anything extra, either, like most places do. They fixed my rear quarter panel so it looked honestly better than new, and it had been a pretty nasty dent/scrape. Not only did they fix the scrape, I got my car back and Mark had fixed my mirror casing, which was falling off, fixed some minor dents, painted some of the places where the paint was coming off, cleaned off my headlights AND vacuumed and detailed the inside of my car, all for about a third of the price the dealer wanted to charge me. There was no mention of not working Saturdays or come back Monday like I got from some other places (had to get a couple of quotes). Mark was friendly, polite, honest and helpful. So we eventually get the OK from the insurance company and I dropped off the car just before we left for a 3 week vacation. On our return however we were informed that the repairs were not complete due to issues with the insurance company requiring another week. I took my car here after being hit by an MTA bus. Ethan was very helpful. They took care of my car, made it look brand new, and even replaced a bad headlight for me (not part of the accident), free of charge (I supplied the light, but they didn't charge me additional labor for installing it). As if that weren't enough, when I picked up my car, it looked brand new because cleaned it and buffed out all scratches and other blemishes on the entire car. They misplaced my key for a minute, and bought another one. When I got there, they gave me the new key (a $125.00 value) for free. I scraped the side of my car against a gate which left a bit of a dent, so I went to Glendale Auto Body shop to get it fixed. I thought the quote was very reasonable (about $600 less than another shop I went to in Culver City), so I went ahead and let them fix my car. Being a female, I'm always afraid of getting ripped for any type of car repair, since I don't know much about cars. However, this is the second time Glendale Auto Body has repaired my car, and both jobs were fantastic. Mark is the very trustworthy person. My first time coming here was years ago when someone hit my old car in a parking lot. The lady was a saint because she actually left her business card and told me to contact her to get her insurance info! I was shocked that there are still honest people out there! My brand-new, 2-week old, VW Beetle was rear-ended on the freeway a few weeks ago. Total bummer! I took it to a body shop close to my work, but they couldn't get me in right away--requiring a 2 week wait--maybe longer. That wasn't going to fly. I wanted my new car fixed and back on the road ASAP. So, I found Glendale Autobody. They are a VW-certified repair shop, which was a plus, and I was told they could definitely take my car immediately. From the get-go, Armando and his team were attentive to my needs and appreciated my circumstance. They made calls for me, set me up with a car rental, got my insurance adjuster in the next day to appraise the damages, etc. I felt I had chosen the right place, and that my banged-up new car was in good hands. I picked-up my car this morning, and it looks great! I know it suffered damage, but nobody else will. The bumper could have been "fixed", but they weren't having any of that. They assured me they'd replace it with all-new parts. I was shown the damaged bumper and another part from underneath that needed replacing. They destroy damaged parts, so that nobody will grab it from their trash and try and re-purpose it. I like that! Hopefully, I will not need another auto body shop anytime soon, nor do I wish it upon you. Well, there is a reason every single review is 5 stars and my experience was no exception. My fiance's car got hit-and-ran on, taking off a rearview mirror and banging the door. We called two places by our apartment and neither of them did body work, but they BOTH recommended Glendale Auto Body. The staff there is very friendly and they basically have an honest, pleasant attitude. They took my insurance, and even got the insurance company to completely replace the smashed door instead of just plaster it (sure, you can argue there is monetary incentive here, but A: If you knew these guys you wouldn't assume that, and B: The extra costs were taken care of by my insurance, my deductible stayed the same). Mark is very personable, just an all around good guy. When the car was dropped off he offered to take me where I needed to go, then came to pick me up when it was ready. I told him my car (which was at a different shop, not by choice but because of proximity issues) was just returned to me with a headlight out that was on when I took it in, and he offered to change the bulb immediately. All around, I am very satisfied with my experience here, my fiance's car looks as good as new. I will definitely be going back with any more car trouble. read more

I was expecting at least two weeks of driving (and paying for) a rental car when I got a call last Friday letting me know that my car was finished. I was stunned. The turnaround time was amazing considering I dropped my car off on Monday morning. When I got to the shop, I could see my car glistening in the lot. The work was FLAWLESS. I really can't say enough about the amazing service here. My car was swiped by someone on the street, the damage didn't seem too major (a couple of dents and some missing paint). Unfortunately, the car was nearly brand new and the damage was bad enough to warrant $1900-$2600 estimates by a number of the top-rated shops around LA. Not only did Glendale Auto Body come in at the best price to completely fix the damage, but understanding my reservations of having to spend so much on such minor damage, the shop's owner (Mark Vargo) asked me to wait a few minutes while he took the car around back. Maybe 15-20 minutes later, here comes my car, looking practically brand new. Mark had the car touched up and the paint damage worked over. And what did he charge for this amazing work? NOTHING. While all the other shops in town simply wanted to exploit my situation and make as much money as possible, Mark understood my bad position and took it upon himself to help me out. My 2005 Toyota Prius was rear ended and the other driver's E-surance paid for the claim for repair of the rear bumper and the lift gate panel. Went to 3 auto body repair shops in Glendale to get estimates. Mark from Glendale Auto Body was honest and gave helpful advice on the repair of the bumper and to insist to E-surance that I wanted an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part and not AM (after market) which is usually inferior to the original part. Mark handled the claim with E-surance to make sure all the damages to my car was repaired to the highest standard. The 13 year old Prius was repaired and then cleaned-- interior and exterior at no extra cost. My car never looked so good since I purchased it in 2005. I am not one to write reviews but my experience here was so jarring that I feel the need to do so. Glendale Auto Body wasted my time, did not honor their word, and Edith, the manager there, was extraordinarily rude to me. I cannot speak to the work they do, as I did not leave my car here, but the customer service is horrendous. I called Monday and I was told I could bring my car in anytime Monday through Wednesday without an appointment. I confirmed again Tuesday morning that I would be able to bring it in, but by the time I arrived at 2:00 pm I was told that they had a full load of customers. One of the employees, Joe, was extremely considerate and made every effort to intake my vehicle and honor their word. However, when Edith discovered this, while Joe was out of the room, she told me that I needed to leave immediately. I was disappointed to have wasted my time and went to leave. Joe again made an effort to address my dissatisfaction, having spoke to the owner, and said that they could take my car if I was unhappy. About 15 minutes later, Edith discovered this while I was sitting in the waiting area and responded angrily, seemingly displeased that she had been undermined and took it out on me. She confronted me, telling me to leave immediately. I informed her that I was already being helped and that I didn't have my key as it had already been taken from me. She found my key, handed it back to me and again told me to leave and to quit wasting my time there. I asked to speak to the owner and Edith said he was not there (although both she and Joe had claimed to have spoken with him during my time there.) I left feeling utterly confused as to why I had been treated so poorly. At no point had I raised my voice or responded to Edith's rudeness with anything more than disappointment or shock. I would not advise anyone to go here, it is stressful enough to deal with a repair without having to worry about how you will be treated. read more

These people are so great. They did a spectacular job on my car - it looks way better than it did before the accident. I have two little kids and my car was full of all kinds of stuff - diapers, goldfish crackers, CDs, all the junk you accumulate when you're schlepping kids around all day - and they took the time and trouble to put it all in the trunk and give the interior a thorough cleaning. I almost cried when I saw it. And Jessica held my baby and entertained my 3 year old while I moved the car seats from my car into the rental and back.
