An excellent facility with Saturday hours to rival all area competitors. When my regular chiropractor was gone for the weekend conference (without leaving another doctor in her place!!), I was in a panic. I woke up with a stiff neck and shooting pain down my arm. I called all the other local chiro offices and no one could take a new patient--but they would all gladly see me on Monday. I couldn't wait two days in that much pain, so I changed tack and looked for an acupuncturist (they seem to have better hours on Saturdays). Lo and behold, Yelp brought me here. I was able to see both an acupuncturist (Katrina) AND a chiropractor (Dr. Gassia) as a walk-in on a Saturday. An hour and a half later, I was better than new. I am thrilled to have found Glendale Chiro Care. I got the special on Groupon as an introductory adjustment and 1 hour massage. I was hopeful, and they fulfilled all of my expectations plus more. My wife and I had been seeing Dr. Chris Tosh while he was located at Glendale Chiro Care. After Dr. Tosh left to start his new practice, we went back to Glendale Chiro Care and began seeing Dr. Bob. As written by previous yelpers, we too felt extremely rushed. I agree with most everyone on this board in saying that the staff at GCC is very friendly, especially the "vitamin guy" (sorry, not so good with names)... but the one drawback was Dr. Bob. My experience with massage has been vast and adventurous, and I don't mean a good way. From accidentally befalling into rug'n' tugs, to scathy touchy feely people, to no english folks, and over priced spas, I finally settled on what is in heaven when I lucked out to meet Daneille as recommended by my insurance. I hate to give away my best kept secret for massage therapy but I got to give my props to where its deserved. She uses the correct amount of pressure and has this sixth sense about where my pains are and can feel out portions that I forget to mention. I met with Dr. Gassia for an adjustment about a year ago and she is awesome! Okay So its not like to me write a review or even give credit when credit's due.. However, I was completely smitten by this office and all of its employees.. First and foremost the feel/atmosphere of Glendale Chiro Care is so warm (both in colors, design and cleanliness). Second all its staff make you feel like you are a regular. (Kinda like Cheers but instead of alcohol being served you get Neck and Back care).. Anoosh (I think thats how you say it ) was the receptionist who greeted me in person and even recognized my voice from the phone call I made the day before(talk about feel at home!) She had me fill some paperwork out and offered me coffee (which seems to always be avaialble! double score).. Dr. Gassia (the chiropracter that treated me) was UBER friendly.. She made me feel so comfortable in a) telling her my concerns of getting adjusted and b) venting to her about my horrible headaches and stress levels.. She just listened didnt even seem to bother her when I was going on my tangents..And her adjustments! UNBELIEVABLE.. I have never felt soooo good leaving any doctor's office.. My head and back feel great and no signs of a headache yet.. I was lucky to find this office and I loook forward to visiting again. read more
