His work is very thorough and precise. He showed me midway through where the trouble spots were, pointing out what he could correct or get as close as possible. This is an honest review. I was charged $80 for an alignment on my Honda Civic which the owner comes to find out in the process one of the front front tie rod needed to be replaced due to the rubber been broken. Still continue the alignment. Once completed I was charged and provided a copy of my receipt but not the alignment numbers which I had to ask. (-.-) Then I asked, if he had the charge again once I had the tie rod charged which he replied $50. So, I told him I'll bring it back. Insight- In the past when doing an alignment an something needed to be changed and came back within their warranty days they would've taken care of it. Got my tie rod (RF and RF) changed that same day at my mechanic which advised me that I should be changed for the realignment depending their warranty. Took my car back the next day early morning around 10ish. While getting out the car no cars being serviced and once I walked in his office he was shocked I was back so soon and was told me I should've called because he has appointments. First of all, he never told me that knowing I was coming back nor does his website display that!! Fast forward, I came back later that day just very upset for the lack of communication. When I came back he said he had another appointment. Although, somehow took me in and nobody came in while my car was being realigned again for an extra cost of $50 and I still had to ask for the realignments assessment again!!! Otherwise, I was given the supposedly discounted price of $80 for a 4-wheel alignment based on the referral by Jamar at America's Tire Co next door, where I just got four new tires. No one was here so my car was worked on immediately. The waiting room is a storage space that smells moldy. The worker asked me if my Subaru Outback is an Impreza Outback or a Legacy Outback. I actually wish I could leave 6 stars for George. Truly, if more auto mechanics were as honest and patient as George, my life would be significantly easier. Have you tried being a blonde girl lately, who doesn't know more about cars than she looks to know, trying to get her car fixed? It's painful. Story- I went to George thinking I had an alignment problem because my car pulled to the right. I described the way it did it and he said he didn't think it was an alignment problem and that I may need to just have my tires rotated and balanced. That seemed honest! I went down the street, had the tires done, but then when I got back in the car- same problem. I went back to George...thinking I was mad at him for misleading me. He drove the car with me in it and said he was certain it wasn't an alignment problem. I couldn't imagine then what the problem was. He said, "let me take a look" and put it on the lift. George literally had to have spent 30-45 minutes investigating every thing possible on my car. He was coming up empty. Until all of a sudden, he had one more thought. He decided to measure the distance between the top of the wheel wells and the ground. Sure enough, the left side of my car was sitting 1" higher than the right side. Hence, the slow pulling to the right. The jerkos who had recently changed my rear main seal, causing them to have to pull my transmission out, hadn't aligned the lever arms when they put the tranny back in and one was adjusted 1" different than the other. George also found a leak while he was under there that also turned out to be caused by those other jerkos. George easily spent almost an hour of his time on my car and my situation, never seemed impatient about it once, and didn't charge me a dime. He could have easily charged me the $70 for an alignment and sent me on my way. But he didn't. Pure honesty, at the cost of an hour's worth of his time, and that was that. I even offered to pay him something for his time and he declined. He was so helpful in every way, I was floored. George, if you read this, are you sure you don't want to be a general mechanic who can do everything on a car? I'd give anything to have such an honest person working on my car! If not, I understand, but I do look forward to the next time I have an alignment problem and I'll for sure head your way. read more

I took my car in for a 4-wheel alignment a few weeks ago. I called the dah before and the guy said he could take the car the next day. It was quick and easy. My one tip, if you choose to leave your car, is call to check if it's ready as you may not get a call otherwise. George is excellent. Brought in my car which was swerving to the right. Was told by my tire place that it was an alignment issue. George said the alignment was fine. Didn't charge me much and sent me back to the tire place. Tire place switched the tires around (the way George prescribed) and it's now driving straight again. Highly recommend George. Not sure how to fill about George and the business. He seemed like a good guy at first,knowledgeable, detailed. He offered to inspect my car before he aligned it which was fine most places do that as part of there service. Alignment service usually do not want the customer to expect perfect alignment if something else is wrong underneath. He asked me to wait about 30 minuets, no problem. When I came back he went right to it. The inspection when about 30 minuets. At the end he told me it needed about $3,000 in bushing and a suspension overhaul. I said okay, that a big job. If it was 3 or 4 hundred bucks I would say okay but that kind of money I need to speak to my wife. He said okay and give me my keys and I was thinking okay, I will bring it back Monday to start the work if all goes well with my wife. I was asking about opening hours so I could coordinate. Then George said give me $20. bucks and if you come back I will give it back to you. I was a little shocked. Hey look everyone deserves to be paid for their work. It is his time and I understand that but he said it was for checking the car. So I did not give him a hard time, I paid it but then I was given a blank receipt that said CHECK UP, nothing more. I thought, that is strange so I asked George please give me a proper explanation since I paid for it and then his personality changed. It seemed like he did not want to give me a proper description for the work I needed. I told him you said it needed a few more items and he seemed to get frustrated. It seemed like he did not want to write it down. He mentioned other things that needed work and I certainly did not want to miss explain to my wife and I did pay for the inspection. I was disappointed because he had good reviews. I was honestly going to do the work with him, however I just needed to discuss a big job like that with my wife. Because of that receipt and not wanting to put in writing what the car exactly needed I lost confidence and now do not want to go back because he created doubt. I wonder if $20 and a receipt was worth my business or a $3,000 job? It is not about the money, however he should have told me I charge for inspection before inspecting and if you are going to charge for a service of inspection give your customers a proper explanation in writing. It is only the right thing to do. I am not satisfied with my explanation on my receipt and feel cheated and now going to look around to get the work done right away. I needed to get a Wheel Alignment and I only had the weekend to get it done because of my busy work schedule. I called a few places who were not able to take me in on short notice. I ended up calling Glendale Wheel alignment and spoke with George who told me to bring it over and he will squeeze me in. I arrived about a half hour later and met George who took a look at my Tahoe and told me his price to perform the Alignment. I thought his price was more than fair and gave him the "Go ahead" to get it done. He had 2 other cars that were dropped off so he actually put mine up on the rack and had the whole thing done in less than an hour. I had a pleasant conversation with him about business after he was done. All together it was a good experience from a nice Gentleman who knows his craft.
